I said it before and I will say it again. I am so sick of these "bittersweet endings." I don't care how realistic it is, I want the happy endings back. A happy ending where the hero truly gets everything they deserve and not just settle for what was left.

I've said it many times and I know you of all people understand this the most... If I wanted to read a story of real life, I'd read a story of my life. And the saddest thing is despite this ending being called "realistic" it still isn't because of SasuSaku. Sure certain women cannot escape or delude themselves into believing their abuse will stop or is necessary, but Sasuke literally tried to kill her on multiple occasions and verbally put her down every time... how is it realistic that she retains any form of feelings for a guy like that?

Realistically, a woman will get over a man if he is not there for a long period of time. The fact that Sakura held onto those feelings for that long without moving to someone else really is unrealistic.

I wish I could understand exactly what it is they were saying. But from the gist of it, it sounds like more discontent fans venting their frustration over the terrible ending handed to them by Kishi.

My pleasure. It's getting a lot more frequent and agitated than before. At first I'd only run into a couple tweets focused on the ending but now they're all about the airings and Sakura. I used to have to post several sets of random picks. Now I just pick and grab and boom instant fan rage

 

I just hav to wonder though, if RTN was the most popular movie for SP and NS sells than why the hell did they make a movie focused on SS and NH

All of these reactions only go on to further show that the suckiness of the ending is not because of the results of the "Great End-of-Series Pair-Off". We got a story until 698, and then it just becomes another story with an entirely new cast of characters. It's jarring. I've come to accept the ending as canon, as hard as it was, but I know I'll never be able to get over it.

She might have been waiting for an answer from him, but if it wasn't for the damsel in distress concept in the movie, who knows whether he ever would have fallen in love with her in the first place. In naruto's world, the concept of love is worse than the reality: A girl is willing to wait for a lifetime for a guy that either tried to kill her several times or ignored her for two years. At least Naruto's continued love towards Sakura until the end of the manga wasn't senseless. She did show signs of affection from time to time.

Oh man, it was easy for me. I don't know, video games are the best way to keep me distracted from anything else. When I feel down because of anything, I sit down and play a good game with an amazing campaign. I wish I could be as concentrated as I am playing vidya when I sit down to study; alas, it's impossible. The only downside is that when I am extremely disappointed by a game, there's nothing else I can do to distract myself... but that has only happened once.

I am tired of this "realistic" crap people keep trying to put on me about this story. "It is realistic that people don't always get what they want."

Well, realistically speaking:
-Sasuke would have been put in prison for at least 10-20 years for attempted murder, abuse, robbery, and terrorism. (That's only going off the top of my head) He probably would also maybe put into an asylum for psychological evaluation.
-Sakura would have gotten over Sasuke in the first 2 years and moved on to Naruto realizing her happiness in him

-Naruto could go either way, but he probably would have been put into a foster home
-Hinata would have gotten over Naruto too and went with someone else

It is just maddening when people try to explain why this outcome occurred, but not realizing that the same could have applied to the reverse. They expect naruto to just get over Sakura, but want Hinata to forever be his love slave. Why? Why should Naruto be in love with Hinata?

REALISTICALLY, you can't force someone to like you. So, Hinata and Sakura would realistically not receive any love from Naruto and Sasuke. AND realistically, Sakura would have chosen Naruto because she already has feelings for him. In the databook, it was mentioned that he was able to make her heart beat faster. They've gone through ups and downs. They basically grew up together.
