Movies are non-canon, but I'm sure the anime will show Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra sometime before next winter when the movie will be released. So by then anime-only people wont be spoiled by Ichithing.

As much as I like H2 Ichigo wasting the budget on another movie instead of putting it towards the anime sucks. The Bleach movies are almost as bad as the Naruto ones. They should just use the money to improve the anime's quality instead.

Aizen's still a jackass. Like usual.

Shinji's shikai is pretty kickass. Against any other shinigami, it would be unbeatable. But since he's up against Aizen, Captain Cheater, of course he was going to lose.

I didn't expect Tousen to still be alive. But it looks like Aizen just finished him off anyway. I suppose it was a wise move to show a bit of his human side, or he would have your regular baddie who shows up overpowered and disappears after being pwned.

Shinji's shikai suits his character pretty well. Looks like Ichigo is the one who has to take on Aizen in the end, though. While reading the chapter, I kept wondering why shinigami always explain their powers to the enemy. I understand that it's Kubo's way of telling us what's going on, but in this particular fight I kept thinking that Shinji would have been able to deal more damage if he had kept quiet. But of course, we now know exactly what Shinji's shikai does, so it's all good.

Yeah, Shinji has a nice Shikai, but really, if someone figured out that it's an optical illusion like Aizen did, that could mean that they could learn to work its' abilities against him, considering Aizen was able to handle it after a quick analysis. Man, this chapter's pacing was OK, yet in the end really, it's getting us to the next big battle in Karakura Town, when we could also cut to Hueco Mundo and see the end of Yammy at the same time...

Anyone else think Shinji's gonna be pissed that Ichigo didn't bring Orihime with him? I do.

I really liked this chapter. The color spread was beautiful<3 Hime-chan soooo cute >3<

So I guess Shinji skipped right to a bankai release? Seems pretty interesting, but fits his personality really well. I hope he can be a fairly good match for Aizen, but also has Ichigo as back up now.

While I don't like Tousen, it was nice seeing him sort of nicer in the end, even if he definitely doesn't deserve it.

What a great way to end the last Bleach chapter of the year! A CLIFFHANGER!!! Well, at least Ichigo is back! And now we also know Shinji's bankai. This was a good chapter.

I liked the color spread but I wished Kubo would of shown Rukia front like he did with Ichigo and Orhime. I liked Shinji's Bankai (I assume or hope it was) but thought the fight acually sucked because well it was TOO SHORT and Shinji didn't even put on his vizard mask to reach his full potential.

I'm glad that Ichigo back for a kickass New Year start off brawl.

That was his Shikai, not his Bankai. If it was his Bankai, he would have said "Ban Kai!", followed by a slightly different, longer name than usual. He just says "Collapse, Sakanade." That's a regular Shikai release phrase.

I don't know why you guys keep thinking it's his Bankai. Those things always get huge attention when they're called out, and most of them cause a giant effect to happen.

D'aww, Komamura is just so huggable. And that last page, with all of the Shinigami together, makes me feel all fuzzy. Go Teamwork!

I'm not to surprised by what's happened so far. Aizen's proven (yet again) that he's not someone to be trifled with. Putting a defense up on his blindspot, being able to easily run circles around Ichigo - who by the way is possibly one of the fastest characters, at least in my opinion- and even managed to mess with the usually semi-leveled head of our orange-haired protagonist.

Is it so bad for me to like Aizen after reading all that? I feel bad...but seriously, Aizen's a bamf.

Anyway, in all seriousness, I loved this chapters ending. I like how Komamura's kind of been taking the limelight a bit. The way he tried to assure Ichigo that he wasn't fighting alone was awesome.

By the way...where is Gin?? He halved Hiyori, and now he's gone. Hm, probably being the usual sneak that he always is.

Well, I look forward to the next chapter. Maybe we'll finally be able to see some of the other captains' bankai.
