I don't think you gonna need to worry about her forgetting the pandas. Heck, they are prob the first thing that gonna look for, afterall, she have to greet the "relatives"
PS; Yes, Shauna I'm talking about your panda hat

Wow. The ending of Episode 3 was so powerful and amazing. I really like this series

This one is so cliched and boring, but I'll keep watching just to see how it all turns out~

That's exactly what I've decided to do. I will not text or email this person anymore. They say that actions speak louder than words, and I'm getting the 'I don't want to talk with you at all right now' message loud and clear. And when this person *finally* decides they want to talk again (because they pull this silent treatment thing way too many times for my liking) I'm going to do my best not to reply. I'm really quite tired of being used and hurt like this.

Already did the whole asking why I'm being ignored thing. Got an apology and an admittance that they were avoiding talking with me for personal reasons. So I gave the person their space for a bit, then they contacted me saying they missed talking. But then the ignoring thing has happened two more times since. So it's like 'get ignored, apology given, things seem cool for a *very short* time, then back to the ignoring'. I'm just...tired of it.

Never mind then. Yeah, best to forget about them.
As for the new topic...why didn't you tell me you already took Akido when we had that discussion to improve your health?
Well, since you've done stand up grappling, I would recommend trying a striking martial art like Karate or Taekwondo. These should start you off easy with basic techniques and stances, but should overtime get more strenuous. Your stamina should improve with time. Also, some of the moves you will be learning will be developmental, not for fighting, as they are supposed to strengthen your body overtime so that the moves you can use will be what they should. These arts also have sequenced techniques and katas that at first you will have to think about as you do them, but with practice, you should be able to do them without thinking. There are several styles that fit this category (Karate and Taekwondo are the most common in the west), so you may want to do a bit of research before you choose something. If you need a show to help you learn about them, I'd recommend downloading Human Weapon or Fight Quest from Itunes (or if you're really cheap, you can just youtube them).
Muay Thai is more simplistic and intense, but I'd caution you specifically on trying it. Unlike the other arts I mentioned, Muay Thai is a ring sport that trains you to fight up to fifteen minutes, whereas the others are more for self-defense that train you to end an attack anyway you can in less than a minute. They will push your stamina to the limit and demand more. It's an awesome martial art, but I don't think it's for everyone. The first time I tried it, I was wiped and my leg refused to move for a good five minutes just from the strain I put it under...
If you're interested in more weapons-based arts, kendo and escrima should be available to find in your area. Kendo is purely developmental these days (well, in theory if you have a real sword it could be used as self-defense, but pretty much everyone who's used a katana these days gets in BIG trouble), but if that doesn't bother you, go ahead and try it. Escrima uses all kinds of weapons (including house-hold items), all in very similar fashion and teaches you defense from people with weapons as well.
If what you're looking for is pure-self defense in the modern world, I'd recommend Krav Maga. They pretty much prepare you for just about anything and train you to fight back in life or death situations, and are absolutely no nonsense.
So, just think about why you want to get back into martial arts, and do some research, and check the phonebook to see if a dojo teaches the style in your area. Good Luck

Got into a bit of a small scooter accident yesterday. Scrapped up my knees pretty bad and got a couple cuts on my hand. Off from work today and man it's now 1pm, and while I got up for a bit at 8am and then for a bit again at 10am, I've slept for pretty much 10-12 hours. Crazy! My body must have been *really* needing the rest ^^
