Sarada is the only attractive aspect of Boruto who has the potential to becoe an interesting character and we know that she's going to be undermined just like her mother because of recent developments and established precedence.  Hell, they already seem to have the Hinata clone prepped to take her place as the heroine of Boruto.

Salad is not HInata so noone cares about her. At least in the Studio sense.

It's not about that , it's just like .... for example you want to buy a fish or meat but you come to vegetable/vegetarian shop. If i like Boruto then this is not the place for me. People gonna disagree with me i should have come to the pro ending forum.

At first, I disliked it much, everything about it and especially the names of the children lol. But I gave it a chance and actually grew fond of it. (seeing everyone as an adult, Shino becoming a more important character, Sakura being OP)

I feel the same I just hate Boruto so damn much I wouldn't care if he died wouldn't care if any of them died mainly as Naruto and Sakura died a long time ago. Its okay to like something just as long as he knows Boruto is a little kitten, now if you don't mind I think I will do a one short were Pan and Boruto fight, who wins Pan lol. Or I could have him fight Ichigo's son.

I do like Sarada that about it really, besides I watch better shows Walking dead DB Super One piece the list goes on Doctor Who is another but right now its not on got to wait for Xmas for the 12th Doctor last episode then we go onto the 13th and a female doctor which shall be good and interesting as well.

 

Again with Boruto don't care about it won't last long as it does not have the love that Naruto had.

Agreed on characters that Naruto and Sakura was - already long time in coffins. About Boruto, well let people enjoy what they like, I'm not the type to write how it's a kitten every time when somebody writes that he likes it.

It's just not enough for me and most others. It's like..."too little too late." I keep asking why any of this wasn't in the original Naruto run. You couldn't write this into the story, Kishimoto? You can't say you didn't have enough time. In truth, you just didn't care enough and that is the sad part. You wanted to be done with the series as quick as possible and instead of giving us a good ending and something that can be remember, you used cheap tricks, horrible plot points, and just...bleh to move the story forward.

There is no heart in it. This all makes Micheal Bay look like he is as good a director as Stanley Kubrick or name any other really successful director that you think deserves the title of being the best. Quinten Tarentino?  It's just flair. If I want to watch flair with little to no plot, I'll watch Dragonball Super. Not saying the Dragonball Super's plot is bad, but rather that is is not as deep as some other anime and manga are. It's whole purpose was to be simple and flashy.

 

So far, everything most of us predicted for the Boruto's series has come true in some shape or form. Especially when we saw who is at the helm.
Boruto as a story is predictable and worse still is downright almost mimicking it's predecessor just with a different coat of paint. Not just in the cliche tired tropes, but just from us knowing who is writing the story we can almost predict 100% of it.

 

Honestly, I would just hate for you to be disappointed again....I am not saying any of this out of hate for what you like, but rather as love from one fan to another. If that is not caring and being respectful...I don't know what is.

Sarada is the only decent character in bolt right but that's not saying much as she bends down to her father's way thinking he's so awesome even now learning about her clans massacre.

I guess I would be the villain of this site if I said I rather enjoy Boruto? LOL.

However, I think Sarada is an interesting character. She has more depth than Boruto and seems to be a more realistic person than Sakura. Tbh, I loved the moment she doubted Sakura and Sasuke's relationship. It felt as if the creators agreed with it being strange, but it didn't last for long, though.

Burrito is a cash grab, yes, but more importantly it's a parody. It's not something to be taken seriously since not even the people making it can't take it seriously. It's not like the Rock Lee adventures which was comedy, it's just a let's make fun of certain things because we can sort of situation and not bother with logic or sense. Copy-paste something from what came before, take a stab at it and move on and then repeat.

I honestly don't know the proper words to describe it, but I think you'll get where I'm getting at.

Salad has potential (more then the rest of the cast) the problem is she is the heroine of Boruto, the sequel to Naruto. So she has the legacy of her mother; a heroine that was abandon & replaced due to perceived unpopularity. 

 

In the manga they don't want this to happen again so they made her the anti-Sakura. Every complaint fans had about Sakura, Salad shows she doesn't have that: Sakura seen as weak/ have Salad as a competent fighter from the start, seen as unattractive/have her dress in a very provocative outfit so she can come off as sexy from the beginning, her hitting the main character seen as negative instead of comedy/well she is still a tsudere but sticks to berating him instead, unclear feeling about main character/clear from the end of the first arc, team 7 love triangle/Cups is trying to push them together, and so on all to make sure they don't have the same problem that happened with Naruto.

 

But thing is SP wants that to happen again so they can put another one of their fantasy dream girls in the role of heroine. That was clear with the focus on Sumire the clone in the first arc.

 

The anime softened a lot of the gaiden turn the question of "is Karin Salad's mother" from still as strong possibility in the gaiden to unlikely to laughable in the anime adaptation.

Yeah, I mean we do have some NH fans on this forum, but we don't crucify them for having a differing opinion.

I honestly think that they were planning on her taking Salad place after the end of the first arc, but it was so obvious that even the three clowns realized it and put their foot down. They still have to deal with that stupid eye though.

I am the person the is doing the summaries of the manga chapters, and was doing the summaries of the anime on this site. As negative as my tone may come out in those summaries I was at one point giving them a chance. The manga lost any chances of winning me over after that ten months of rehashing a movie, then 5 months prologue. As for the anime I go tired of the clear manipulation.

 

...I normally am not one to dash someone hopes but you shouldn't get your hopes up of them showing off Sakura too much. The gaiden adaptation may be a one time deal of any real focus on Sakura in Boruto.
