You know, normally, I would immediately disagree with you guys about Hinata and Lee or Toneki being together. But considering all these asspull couples Kishi's given us (Choji and Karui- really, REALLY?!), I'm willing to give that idea a chance. Ten, fifteen or whatever time has passed are enough to get to know and fall in love with each other. The rest is up to you guys to help Chatte formulate a realistic and convincing theory.

Lee would be a good option to go along with Hinata only for two reasons...

1: Lee having a background with Neji. Lee knew Neji very well and if Hinata became depressed about Neji then Lee would comfort her about what he knew of Neji.

2: The two of them having similar background love stories. Lee having an affection with Sakura and Hinata secretly in love with Naruto. Now from reading the manga and watching the anime you wouldn't think much of the two of them eventually getting together but if you watch a little bit of Rock Lee SD you might just get the idea of there being a possibility. Reading and watching Rock Lee SD you Definetly get the idea of Naruto and Sakura may very well get together in the future but what of Rock Lee and Hinata, who are both shown their love lives a lot in that series??

If you think about those two and where would they end up in the future there's a Possibilty of imagining them finding common ground with each other and maybe getting together in the end. Now as far as SD is concerned it does also show a possibility of Lee getting together with ten ten in the end. But alas that is the producers of SD's interpretation of Lee's and Ten Ten's relationship with each other. In Kishimotos original story you hardly see any interaction like that with those two to make you jump the gun and ship them together. lol

And screw the morons for trolling this thread. The redundancy of having to repeat the rules over and over to them again is very frustrating.

Thanks, but it's made by a Chinese fan [Taiwanese, to be exact]. LOL. Not Japanese.

Theories and Observations

 

 
Just wanted to have a post where we post some of the things we speculated and the manga has confirmed, if Ive missed anything here, please be sure to let me know and Ill add it in.
 
First, lets start with what 700 definitively tells us:
 

Chapter 700 - Confirmed

• Ino x Sai, Chouji x Karui, Shikamaru x Temari pairings
• Kakashi retired; Naruto 7^th Hokage
• Hinata has a daughter named Himawari and also has a son, who has not definitively been named
• Naruto has a son named Bolt
• Sasuke is not presently in the village
• Kyuubi is sleeping (whether hes been sleeping from 698 it is not known)
• Wont go into too much more detail unless its relevant, but thats basically what I thought was important but dont hesitate to let me know if I missed anything

 

 
 

Chapter 700 - "Believe it!" - Unconfirmed but a given

• Sarada is Sasukes daughter (now, before you say anything, I am 100% that Sarada is Sasukes kid, but officially, I dont think its been said, since Im doing this with the other children wanted to do the same)
• Rock Lee has a son (now, like Sarada, it hasnt been clearly announced, but like the Sarada Sasuke situation, Im 100% that is Rock Lees son)

 
Finally, lets analyse some of the stuff that has been confirmed by fans but have inconsistencies that open up the possibility that these arent true:

NaruHina

 
Details working for it:

• The biggest one I think, both Bolt and Himawari have whisker marks
• The Last Movie centered on Hinata

Details working against it:

• Zero interaction/mention of Hinata from Narutos side and same with Hinatas side (though Himawari mentions an older brother, no specifics are given)
• Thus far, Naruto hasnt showed any feelings towards Hinata
• The Last Movie may be centered on Hinata, but no romantic NH moments given

 

SasuSaku

 
Details working for it:

• SS poke (whether this was romantic or not, who knows?)
• Sarada calling Sakura mama/mum

Details working against it:

• Zero interaction/mention of Sasuke from both Sakura and Sasuke
• Sarada resembles Karin

 
The next is some of our theories, I dont know if Ive included everything here, this is just off the top of my head:
 
 
 
Chapter 700 Dreams Feel Real While Were in Them. Its Only When We Wake Up That We Realise Something Was Actually Strange Possible Theories due to inconsistencies
 

Lee x Hina

 
Support for the theory:

• Panel placement. All I can say is look at 700s panel placement. Most of the scenes foreshadow the next panel. This happens more than a few times. Some examples are:

i)        InoShikaChou practice for their children. Ino mentions its a secret technique passed down from our ancestors (which most likely is talking about Asuma). Next scene, Asumas family.
ii)      Asuma's daughter mentions she will be going to meet Kakashi and Gai, next panel Kakashi and Gai
iii)    Kakashi reminisce about the past and Kakashi mentions stepping down from Hokage. Next panel ex-Kages
iv)    Bee mentions Naruto and the Eight Tails mentions how Narutos in a very busy position now, next scene Naruto (being busy) as 7^th Hokage.
v)      Sarada mentions her papa/dad, next scene, Sasuke.
Now how does this relate to Rock Lee and Hinata?
If you think back to Hinata and Himawari, after Himawari mentions how next time shed like to come with big brother next panel, Rock Lee and his son! Think of it what you will.

• Himawari has no Byakugan. Now, this is the tricky part, not much is known with genetics in the Naruto world but its presumed that the Byakugan is a strong trait. One such reason that Himawari might not have it is because, if Lee x Hina are actually together, maybe his inability to use ninjutsu and genjutsu was inherited by Himawari and it cancelled out Byakugan and maybe the eye colour inherited from Hinata, if in fact no Byakugan was inherited, would be blue eyes. At this point its still speculation.
• Furthermore, Himawari's hair bears a striking resemblance to Lee and his son. At the front, it may look a bit like Bolt, but it's deceiving, in the other panel, a shot is shown from behind which reveals the actual look of Himawari's hair which resembles no other than Rock Lee, especially when compared to the K11.

Drawbacks:

• The biggest drawback is the whisker marks. These dont make sense in general, though, so its hard to tell how Himawari got her whisker marks and the other drawback is that Bolt also has whisker marks which implies, implies not confirms, that they are related. Also, both Bolt and Himawari have some weird cherry top style going.

 

NaruSaku

 
Support for the theory:

• Naruto has been stated before that he likes Sakura, we have not seen so far a reversal on these feelings as of yet
• Naruto made no mention of a daughter/Hinata. Odd considering he was giving Bolt a speech about family.
• Sakuras place is right next to the Hokage building.
• Sarada looks like Karin, suggests she couldve been adopted by Naruto and Sakura as a favour to Sasuke.
• Naruto and Sakuras parallel reaction about Bolt, Naruto said: Did Bolt do something again? and Sakura said: Let me guess Bolt again? (plus look at Sakuras expression when she says it.
• Saradas comment that could be interpreted in two ways, hard to tell as her reaction as she says it is not shown but she says in reference to Bolt, He and I do have some things in common at least when it comes to papa This was crossing my mind a lot. Because (maybe its just the translation) if she was referring to them having different fathers, wouldnt she say something like He and I do have some things in common at least when it comes to our fathers. See what I mean?
• Bolt's necklace. Could it be similar to Sakura's necklace that was sketched with her character design for The Last Movie?
• A lot of people say that Bolt's name is a tribute to Neji. However, it could just as well be a tribute to Minato.
• Sakura bears a striking resemblance to Kushina. What's the point of that if she's not even with Naruto?
• On the page that serves an advertisement for the New Era, you can see the silhouette of Minato, Naruto and Bolt. No Himawari? Could be nothing, but it is worth noting.

Drawbacks:

• Both Bolt and Himawari have whisker marks (see how this always comes into play?)
• Uchiha whatever on the book shelf. Although its been mentioned that if that was related to SS, why hide it? Also it could be argued that Sasuke gave it to Naruto and Sakura to keep with them until they can give it to Sarada when she grows up and wants to learn of her heritage or something.

 

IT Theory

 
Now I dont want to say much about this because Im sure Chattes going to come up with something amazing on this front. All I will mention are two things that have been pointed out besides the OOC of characters.

• One of them is the final page, with the IT eye being shown.
• Another is the fact that the Kyuubi is shown sleeping. How does this mean anything? Remember when Kurama lent Naruto the last of his chakra to fight Sasuke, he said he would be going to sleep and couldnt help Naruto? What was the significance of having that happen? What was the significance of showing the Kyuubi sleeping? Is he still sleeping from that time? If so, isnt that a bit too long to be sleeping? It could indicate that a lot of time hasnt actually passed and in extension, this reality, this epilogue, is IT.

 

Toneri x Hinata

 
Support for the theory:

• Himawari bears a resemblance to Toneri (especially the eyes)
• It seems that Toneri is trying to have a wedding ceremony with Hinata in The Last Movie
• If Naruto is somehow related to Bolt having whisker marks, it could be argued that Toneri, if married to Hinata, could have something to do with Himawari's whisker marks (he seems to be a Jinchuriki of some time -- possess a cloak not unlike Naruto's Kyuubi cloak)

Drawbacks:

• He's portrayed as a villain in the movie although everyone's aware that not every villain in Naruto stays a villain.
• Himawari has a brother, it should be someone who's already been depicted in the manga, but no one else who resembles Toneri was in 700.

 
 
Thats that, if Ive missed anything, please let me know. The information gathered was a collaborated effort that everyone had a part in. Hopefully, we can work towards solving some inconsistencies!

@applesauceful I still think Toneri has something to do with the whiskers. And you forgot about the similarities in Himawari and Lee's son's hair. And Bolt's necklace?
