NH is canon, it doesn't NEED a movie. Pierrot just wants to do one because they have a hard on for Hinata and with the manga ending they can get creative. Naruto is a battle shonen, romance is never important in these things. Whether the ship ended as NH, NS or SS it would have ended with the same light implications. You guys are all shippers so you like to focus on the romantic part, but it's never been that important in the grand scheme of things.

 

Actually the main running theme is Bonds and dreams, The bond between Naruto and Sasuke, the bond between Team Seven, The Bonds between Jiraiya and Orichimaru, The battle part is there for them to resolve the conflict and create more bonds. It's also about Naruto, and him fighting all obstacles to succeed. The manga screwed us over even if you take out the all the relationship crap, we got the viewpoint of Sasue in the last chapter, the Main Charactor was just there he wasn't important, and the epilogue showed us, that bond Naruto fought to create, he ignored the most important bond of all, one with his blood family.

 

That's a running theme with so many manga's an absent father who over works to provide for their child, but he still loves them so it's fine, I don't buy that crap, A fathers duty is not just to provide food on the table but it's to provide the kids love and security.
