I know he likes that, but fanservice really should be directed at the main audience. It'd be nice to get a color cover of Sakura blushing and holding Naruto from behind instead. I mean the point of fanservice is to make that fans happy, right? Just feels like he's only catering to the minority. (I don't count the LOTR cover because Sakura just looks angry/is yelling at Naruto :()

The fact that she's yelling at him shows without any doubt that she cares a lot for him and his well-being.

This is what a WIFE do.

 

Sweep it all under the rug, we all good. That's the impression I got from that scene and I didn't like it. You can count on Naruto, but he sure is delusional about his relationship with Sasuke.

 

I personally don't think he's delusional. To me he's just what you can call a 'fool' and I love him for that.

I would like to know someone like him in real life. The fact is that he's gonna achieve his dreams because he dares to believe in it strongly and he never let it go.

Kishi could have given her her own horse if he wanted. Pretty sure the only reason he has her riding with Sasuke is for a pairing tease. As for her clothes... there's not much of it. She has on short shorts and a top that shows off a lot of her stomach. Nothing is wrong with that specifically (it looks cute on her) but it means a lot of skin is pressing against Sasuke. Its just bothering.

 

What you should ask yourself is: Did Kishi draw Sakura with those clothes because he wanted Sakura to have skin contact with Sasuke or simply because he thought she would look cute in them?

 

The cover is only as annoying as you want it to be.

And I think Naruto knows it. He has this social/psychologic intelligence that permit him to know.

 

I think when Sasuke 'hated' Naruto, it was out of an epidermic feeling that Naruto gives him. Because they are RIVALS, and because they are FRIENDS.

Sasuke can denies it as long as he wants, that's still the only truth.

This is actually the perfect reiteration of all the NS moments that have supported us so far (well, maybe not all of them, but some of the biggest hints from third parties thus far.)

 

Sai: "Aren't you going to confess?"

I can't think of the exact chapters these are referring to off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure everyone here knows which parts these are referring to.

Sasuke is...complicated. He became as deluded as corrupted as Obito did, because of the interests of other people. It gets even murkier with the whole 'black zetsu tricked the entire Uchiha clan since their inception' thing. Part I Sasuke saw Naruto and Sakura as important people to him, he states this more than once. That's why he had to cut his ties in the first place, because they existed. Sasuke falls into the curse of the Uchiha, however. They 'love too much' trap (I still think this is silly, but whatever) He loved his brother and his clan, and when it turned it wasn't pretty. Sasuke also parallels Naruto's childhood in a way. They both know the pain and loneliness of not having/losing their parents. (Remember, Sasuke gets angry at Sakura for insulting Naruto over this)

 

I don't remember the exact chapter, but Naruto mentions seeing Sasuke as a brother. The fact that they're literally the reincarnation of two brothers adds to this. If Sasuke hadn't been corrupted, I have no doubt he and Naruto would still be 'great friends'.

Oh yes that make sense. It's not because you're not understanding it that doesn't make sense.

 

If Sakura would choose Naruto because Sasuke is bad, then Naruto would look like a silver medal, as you and some others said.

That's why Kishimoto is restoring the bond between Sakura and Sasuke / he's also restoring team7 general bond.

Then Sakura will choose Naruto because of Naruto, and not because she's upset about Sasuke.

Their journey together, searching for Sasuke made her realise who Naruto really is.

At the end of the journey, she will realise she wants to live with him and no one else.

And then Naruto will not be a silver medal at all, like he would have been if he had accepted the broken confession of Sakura back then.

I agree. The AU cover was probably only meant to be aesthetically pleasing.

 

I think Sakura's outfit was chosen based on how it looks. (I certainly can't deny that she doesn't look very attractive in that outfit.)

 

I think a lot of people are misreading Sakura's "blush". There is a weird misconception nowadays that a blush immediately can only mean affection of some kind. In the right circumstances a blush can also appear in anime when they're surprised, delighted, sad, interested, etc.

 

In this case, I think it has to do with how fast the horse may be going towards the direction of whoever they seem to be shooting at. So, it could be a bit of surprise with the thrill of riding on a fast horse straight into a battle. Her arms are around Sasuke, but her hands are gripping her own arms, not onto him. So it may very well be that she's only holding on because she has nowhere to hold on to before she falls off (Sasuke is already holding the reigns to the horse). The way that her hat blew off her head can attest to the speed and the fact that she just doesn't want to fall off.

Characters who tend to talk about their dreams usually end up achieving them. With Luffy it's pirate king, with Eern it's kill all Titans and with Naruto it's to become Hokage. 

 

They were more rivals than they were friends. Jealousy and trying to 1up the other was a recurring thing. I'll say they used to be friends, but they were never great friends. The more Naruto became stronger and Sasuke felt weaker that's when rivalry turned into hatred. Hell, even now Sasuke is still jealous of Naruto's power. They're not friends right now, but in Naruto's fantasy world they are.

I don't think you can make real life comparisons with Naruto. Obito has done much worse, and he's already a redeemed hero. Plus it's a very common theme in anime/manga to have villains end up as 'good guys' in the end. I think it's unsettling in a real world view, but you kind of have to suspend your beliefs when reading these types of stories.

But there were more or rivalry because Sasuke is broken IMO.

Also, they are guys, they don't speak that much, and Sasuke is at the top in this discipline LOL

Sasuke almost never spoke about his feelings for his friends, but I think the bonds really were there.

When Sasuke will be repaired, they will be able to be real friends without any barrier.

Maybe they will stay happy rivals like Kakashi and Gai ^^

We judge this manga by human moral and values the characters themselves are humans with human emotions  the manga is written by human standards so the reader which us can understand it so I very much disagree just bc its fiction that all of what is done shouldn't be judge or else what we read has no purpose and the lessons that come with it means nothing .

That's just going to end in disappointment, though. Obito was responsible for Kushina, Minato, and Neji's deaths, beside countless others. He's already forgiven. Sasuke now wants to protect the village and become Hokage. Sasuke is on his way to being redeemed. Sasuke catching Sakura as she fell (not a romantic gesture!!) was a gesture that is extremely OOC for part II Sasuke, yet he did it. You can dislike it, I certainly do, but I wouldn't suggest putting any hope in Kishimoto having Sasuke killed off/unforgiven.

That is just bad writing and I have said it so many times Sasuke's redemption is nothing but forced and everything involved with him for that matter  especially when he doesn't care about his actions , shows no signs of redemption nor does he wants a redemption .  Sasuke's reasons are selfish and he only caught Sakura bc she was useful not bc he cares big difference  not to mention that you just don't let the people you care for die or try to kill them and not giving any kitten about it with zero reaction the Sasuke relationship are complete disaster especially the SS one which barely falls even under any sort of "friendship" .

 

And don't worry I'm not putting any hope in Kishi killing him  that much its clear  but trying to tell convince me by what is shown in the manga that Sasuke cares for them so much and its a great "friendship"  its utter BS  and I would pass any day of my life to have some like that for a "friend" no thank you . 

 

Edit : One more thing you can be redeemed you can earn redemption for yourself but that doesn't mean that you actions holds no meaning and should go unpunished and this is where Kishimoto will screw up with Sasuke and every villain.
