But shouldn't this be it for Sakura to get resolution I though you guys said that all she needs is acknowledgment from him so what else is there for SS ? Prolonging this SS kitten will only give more credit to this sh*tty paring while at the same time hurt NS image in the process  while going toward canon the whole thing would seem rather unconvincing by giving SS more moments while skipping NS ones like in here with the "eye focus" BS .

And btw, how does Sakura and Sasuke acting like friends hurt the NS image? We all KNOW that Sasuke is going to be a good guy again and become a member of team seven due to Naruto's Jesus no Jutsu. It's only a matter of sooner or later. I prefer to have it sooner.

eye contact isn't a big problem... throughout the course of the story, how much eyes contact we had? We can take for example naruto's words when says to Hinata "You're strong, I can tell you by watching your eyes."
 
honestly, if at the place of Sakura and Sasuke there would be Ino and Shiba, all this could have been a romantic hint? I doubt so. Sasuke is so apathetic and Sakura looks surprised and tired too...

Now, this...is a plausible counter argument for SS eye contact, atleast for me

Though I don't like it...but I think...Sakura gets more two to three moments with Sasuke to give a closure. Agree with @Ramenanmitsu over here. I hate this, but we cannot do anything about this. She needs to have a closure and for that she needs positive moments. It is something like, we have to swallow the bitter things to enjoy the desserts later.

Though Sasuke transferring chakra would be kind of...an asspull!

You know, it's funny how you wanted to see a closure or something that needed to be done, yet when it's here or almost here, you go heart attack mode. It's like what I said a long time ago, I feel that people are like "Wow, so this is an SS moment, platonic or whatever." Point is your eyes don't comprehend because it's never done before. Why you think I joked when I said "It only took 440 chapters to get something." It's seriously been that long.

Naruto telling Hinata about looking in her eyes and actually communicating with the eyes is different. Also, Ino and Shiba? have a different history and personality with Sakura and Sasuke, so that doesn't really mean anything.

Sasuke and Sakura is going to have a resolution, and that's it, there is nothing more to it. Comraderie.

 

That's right. As bizarre as it sounds I find myself wanting for the next chapter to have more development between Sasuke and Sakura. People are not realizing how much of a golden opportunity this is. If Sasuke and Sakura have further interaction before going back to Naruto that means there's a bigger chance for Sakura to finally get her resolution with Sasuke right then and there.

 

After Sasuke goes back to help Naruto that chance is gone forever. Think about it, after Sasuke returns to Naruto that should lead to Kaguya's defeat and that will then lead to Sasuke opposing Naruto for the final battle. Sakura only has this chance to get personal with Sasuke since afterwards he'll be too busy with everything else.

 

People want the following chapter to be as if nothing happened, but I actually want more to happen. I want Sasuke to say whatever it is that Sakura needs to hear from him so that she can realize all by herself that what she has yearned from Sasuke all this time was simply his acceptance of her as a comrade.

 

After what happened in 631 we all know that NS is the foreshadowed pairing, and after 675 we know that Sakura's feelings for Sasuke have become platonic and that she just needs to realize it. So I would actually welcome more interaction between Sasuke and Sakura that can finally make her realize that her love for Sasuke has changed.

Isn't this good enough ? And btw Sasuke isn't gonna turn good until the fight you do realize this he's gonna back stab them again so what you are implying is that Sakura is gonna figure this out all in the very end and then jump straight to Naruto . All she needs is his acknowledgement to realize that she cares for him as friend I don't see how Sasuke being good or not makes Naruto a silver medal if she realize that beforehand  .

 

It does by Kishi doing kitten like this with that eye focus kitten which  he gives the fandom the impression that its romantic most of the people will take it like that  which is BS  that was totally unnecessary  and not to mention skipping NS moments were they can have a mutual interaction for once were Sakura can show her emotions for Naruto and him actually witnessing it this time like 672 and instead giving a moment to SS with basically the same set up does this look good to you ? Okay...I repeat myself again. Me or Firefox or Nostradamus have NO problem with the SS moment. We have problem with the purpose of it. That is, trolling the fandoms at this stage. That's all. Though there's nothing we can do except complain....I think going with the flow and thinking about possibilities and reasons seems to be a better option.

I don't get this 'silver medal' argument. Sakura has been shown to care more about Naruto than Sasuke in part 2. If she were shown to be the opposite and suddenly at the end switch allegiance to Naruto then that would indeed make him a silver medal. Not now.

I'm thinking the same because like I said in my LAP, this is your chance. Do it or forever wait till the very end, but even then, that will fall under Team 7. The problem is the future itself but I won't go into that. Now, do what you have to do.

Lets hope Kishi doesn't skip the chance to give some proper resolution to Sakura and her feelings for Sasuke next chapter. It could be make it or break it for SS.

What's up with Kaguya ? She has no personality and looks like BZ's puppet.
As for the rest of the chapter it was good to see Sakura shine, she is more interesting than Naruto and Sasuke and when she put efforts it's believable. Finally Sakura is able to help and she achieved her goal to be able to help her team and stand next to them, let's just hope it's not a one time thing and there's more to come.
So Sasuke's ability is just kawamiri on steroids, that’s lame.

Finally the last page : even tough I hate SS it was a good moment to finally see Sasuke aknowledge Sakura and shut his arrogant mouth and while I enjoyed the last ASS moments it came at the price of Sakura's dignity and that's a good thing we are over that. I think it's a step in the right direction to fix a bond that has been constantly portrayed negatively since the beginning of part 2, we all know that team 7 will be friends again at the end of the manga and even tough I would have liked a more realistic approach this is Kishi's carebear world when everyone is forgiven for the most atrocious crimes and disgusting behavior and no one is really responsible for his actions. Sasuke's gesture was a sign of gratitude for her help and that's the least he could do. I don't think that's the last interaction between the two and I still think Sasuke will voice his aknowledgement of Sakura later down the road but it still needs more work, I have a hard time believing that this little moment is enough to make up for all the negativity. As for romantic SS it stopped being a remote possibility a long time, of course with Kishi's writing you never know so I still give it a 1% chance.

I think on the contrary that's the best thing that can happen to NS, if NS happens while Sakura and Sasuke are on bad terms it will always feel imcomplete and people will say Naruto is simply Sakura's second choice whereas if Sakura and Sasuke are friends or comrades and Sakura still decides not to be with him and not to look for him anymore it would be much more mature for her character. No one will say she will be with Naruto because she couldn't get Sasuke, she would choose Naruto OVER Sasuke and that's the key point it would legitimate NS far more than her choosing Naruto because Sasuke is a bad guy and therefore not available.

This is EXACTLY what I thought. It's disappointing....his Rinnegan ability is only a Kawarimi. How the hell is that considered a power-up? That was a HUGE let down. Indra the supposed genius son has really lame powers.
