Well, l think he wants to go that unexpected route. I'm pretty sure he knows everyone wants Naruto have long hair like Minato, but he's probably doing the unexpected.

 

AU means alternative universe, so I don't get how you came to that conclusion. There are just no cowboys or wizards in the canonverse.

I know what it means. Since AU isn't canon meaning it he wont actually have short hair and stuff, people want to believe its a AU. I will continue to believe its a canon movie.

Do you know seinen manga "Akira"?
The author is the director of the movie of Akira. When the movie get out, the manga is still on going. I think naruto movie would follow that.

Akira is one of kishi big influence.

I don't want anything that Pierrot manages to shoehorn into this movie to besmirch the integrity of the manga. Keep it confined to the non-canon animated universe that they've created.

I have to say AU because even though it's possible that the manga will be finished by December, I don't think there's any way the anime will be finished by then too and ultimately the movies are extensions of the anime even if it does have Kishi's direct involvement.

Like take RtN it had Kishi's involvement too and in it Tobi appeared as one of the main villains but in the film he is referred to as Madara even though the movie came out around the same time as Obito's unmasking and even without knowing it was Obito those who had read the manga had known he was not the real Madara for a while, but the anime was not up to that point yet so he remained Madara in the film.

 

I think like RtN it will be a place for Kishi to explore things he can't put in his story like Naruto and his parents family life in a non-canon environment. Also to me it makes no sense for Kishi to have his canon epilogue in a completely different media to his original story, if there's going to be an epilogue surely it makes more sense for it to be drawn by Kishi's hand in the manga?

Well, I'll say it will be canon. However, if it's AU, then ok. However, that could mean free for all, so we must be careful on that.

Well... I really don't think Kishi would spoil the epilogue before the ending. So unless the manga ends BEFORE the film, this film will not be canon, or just partly canon.

Naruto did break the enemy head, recently obito next would be kaguya.

Why some people think this movie would be canon? Care to give explanation.

I'm not positive, but I'll vote for AU. I still say there is no possible way Kishi can wrap up the story by December and I don't see why he would spoil the ending of the manga if this movie was canon. It just doesn't feel right. I don't think even Kishi would want to spoil his ending like that.

 

Yeah, I dislike Naruto's new look. I'll be open about it. But there are others reasons for voting for AU than just that.

Really? why? Lol it just seems like it's gonna be AU cause it's looks like a time skip.. if it was canon wouldn't it spoil everything? Or nah?
