I think that Zetsu won't be there or anyone else (Of the Akatsuki) besides Kisame; crazy fish stick got himself into a real sticky situation. He had a hard enough time fighting Bee (Hence, body switching with Zetsu) image him against two Jinchūriki. That odds are ridiculiously not in his favor, especially if Naruto is able to control Kyûbi without taking it's "mind" along with it's "chakra".

@Smiter-sama

That's what I think. They've only had... Well, actually two-three battles together but never actually together, together battle, heh sounds a little confusing. sweatdrop.gif They've fought Kakashi together and he said there a great team even after being separated for so long. Seeing how strong Naruto's getting it's takin' most potential of a Naru/Saku vs. <insert name> because he's become awfully independent in battle.

That chapter was... out there. XD

You're too kind. I have no problem with them meeting and training. Everyone knew it would happen. It's not out there or pulled from nowhere. However, the execution was so...lazy. Almost as lazy as a pairing obessessed bad fanfic writer. Geez.

All I could think of when reading this chapter is Homer Simpson's descritpion of the Teamsters...."so lazy, so surely..."

Compared to Tsunade, Gaara is just a little brat. He's, what, sixteen? She's fifty-one. And they both have good points. Gaara's right, this war is about keeping the Kyuubi and Hachibi out of Akatsuki's hands. However, Tsunade also has a good point. If the war is about them, Naruto and Kirabi should have a say in what they do. They aren't children. They're both powerful, competent shinobi. Keeping them from the frontlines, while making sense, is also rather reckless.

Yeah, plus she was angry for Naruto's sake, she knows how much it upsets him to be treated that way. It was just momentary anger, once she was convinced of the wisdom of the choice that was made, and that it wasn't meant in the way Naruto will take it, she conceded. But you can tell by her expression she knows Naruto will be angry at being treated this way once he finds out, and probably do something reckless anyway.

Kisame, needless to say, would have captured 8 tails if that were his true intention at the time. I'm not even sure if Kisame showed his full power in that battle even; the odds may not appear to be in his favor, but don't count the shark out yet. Naruto's sage mode might be useless against Kisame because, knowing what predicament he's in, Kisame might just ambush them. Naruto won't have any time to gain nature chakra. Kisame knows that Naruto beat Pein, he would go after him first. Plus, they're on an ISLAND now; Kisame only fought on land the other times with no water around and look what he did to Bee. He can spend less chakra summoning water now and focus so much more on just attacking. They're surrounded by water! For all we know, Kisame could form a bubble of water around them again consuming the whole island this time, and Bee would have a heck of a time trying to keep Naruto from drowning in that.
You say the odds are in Naruto's and Bee's favor by a lot; I think that, considering the surrounding terrain, the odds could quite possibly be almost even.

You could be right Kisame seemed to have hold back when he fought Bee. After all he was following Madara's plan so yeah the next time he fights him he will fight for real making anyone notice why the fight was only 2 chapters and it was very wimpy and quick. We know Kisame's is the only member of Akatsuki with the highest chakra level so he could last longer than any of the other members in battle, however if he does fight Bee again he won't be alone because Naruto is with him. This future fight will be very interesting and hopefully it will last longer than the previous fight at least 6 chapters that's good.

I've been wondering about a possible confrontation with Kisame and Naruto. One, if Naruto is in Sage mode would Kisame's sword be able to absorb the natural energy? If not then Naruto would be able to fight him at full strength. And if the sword is able to absorb it and give it to Kisame, which the amount the it would drain from Naruto, maybe Kisame is fated to end his reign of terror as a frog. I doubt he would have the ability to control it.

Half of Akatsuki will probably attack the island, if Bee brought Kisame/Samehada with him.

That would give Tsunade a little more credibility, since she advised keeping Bee and Naruto around other ninjas instead of isolating them in hiding.

I've always had a feeling that, at some point, Naruto would have the 9-tails extracted (but some means would be found to bring him back to life). Being abducted would allow that to happen. The Kyuubi is as much an antagonist as anyone else in the manga. Would make for an interesting confrontation, besides Naruto having to deal with Madara and Sasuke.

I hope it lasts long too. It is true that Naruto is with Bee, so it will be much harder for Kisame to win. There is no doubt though: if Zetsu does join the fight, he'll copy Kisame like before and fight with him.

But if they capture Naruto and extract the Kyuubi, we will never find out what "that" jutsu is. I'm I for one have been wanting to know for a long time.

I think there is a reason why Jiraiya warned Naruto about avoiding using "that Jutsu" i believe...i believe there is a huge price to pay for its use.

I think the frogs referred to the price of "that" jutsu. That being, if he used the Kyuubi and was not able to filter out it's mind, he would release the Kyuubi. Which I think would be a pretty bad thing. Personally, I think his inner conflict with the Kyuubi (good vs evil) and the strength of his will power to keep the Kyuubi contained will add to Naruto's character development. The will of fire passed down from Jiraiya and his father, as well as his determination to find peace and protect his friends to suppress/fight with the Kyuubi is all part of the theme we've seen throughout the series.

I believe in Minato and Jiraiya also. Minato left Naruto the Kyuubi to bring peace to the world, and Jiraiya trained him to use "that" jutsu. They knew Naruto was the only one who could do it, so I'll be rooting for him to keep it and finish what he started with Jiraiya.

Who knows, maybe the Kyuubi will be removed from Naruto at the end, but for now he's taken on the challenge of controling the Kyuubi and when have we seen Naruto not follow through on something that he's put his mind to? Sasuke...he's still a work in progress. haha.

^ I don't Naruto's Kyûbi extracted D,: he will die along with it... Thus, his end, thus, the end of the Manga... shamefulcry0js.gif I doubt it. I think if anyway Naruto would die, he'd die fighting Sasuke (And killing Sasuke also)

Am I the only one that remembers that Kisame doesn't own Samehada anymore? It chose Kirabi, remember? The last person that tried to use the sword that wasn't it's chosen wielder was Guy, and he almost lost a hand because of it. The next time we see Kisame fight, he isn't going to be relying on the chakra absorbing from Samehada. We're going to see how strong he is on his own, and since he doesn't seem all that concerned with Samehada choosing somebody else over him, it's most likely going to be rather impressive.

Good point, you actually made me wonder about something, what if Naruto is chosen next? Killer Bee is pretty handy with a sword, and we know Sasuke uses that sword that's almost indistructable, so maybe Bee can teach Naruto how to fight with a sword.

Next week should be fun, Naruto will be all' Teach me Teach me!!,' and Bee will be all chuffed thinking he's talking about rapping and start teaching how to.

beginning to wonder if Sameheda really chose Kirabi. or If it was Kisame who did. After all Zetsu was fighting as Kisame its possible since Madaras plan was to infiltrate the cloud.

That is true... Still, I wonder if Samehada really chose Bee as the new owner or if Kisame did, as stated before. I don't think that Kisame would let Samehada go that easily, especially since he'll have to fight the two strongest jinchuuriki.
