I'm actually a bit glad that Sasuke is becoming blind. I thinks that's what he deserves. And as for Sakura being saved, we all know it would happen. After all, Naruto is the hero in the story, and she's the 'princess' in distress. Though with Sasuke turning blind, and Naruto arriving, I don't think he'll have the guts to kill off Sasuke. If determined Sakura couldn't do it, then how's Naruto supposed to, being as Sasuke is his 'brother'. Nope, Madara will surely come and scoop him up and vanish in space (or something). Now, the real question is, what'll happen to Karin?

i cant see sasuke doing a 180* in personality he has done to much to getaway with nothing at all witch helps prove he will be redemed darth vader. Kish would ruin all sakuras development an wasted pannle time as well as her geting bashed more to hell. Sasuke has never loved sakura friends is pushing it he would have to pull it from nowear witch he would lose respect as a writer and very shallow.

Yep, I agree with ya' there, it wouldn't be good for Sakura's development at all, plus the whole Kishimoto-sama saying "Sakura is the main heroin and shell be more like one" or something similar. If SS happened it'd be a darn shame for Sakura's character and it'd completely destroy Naruto in feeling betray. Oh yeah, he also almost used ChidorI through her skull, gagged her, and almost stabbed her. Thankfully Naruto's sexy entrance saved the day!

i know that, i am just saying in reality, it was more of a point to where if sasuke were to do a 180 in personality, sakura would have to love naruto more than enough so any feelings for sasuke would be that of a brother. just saying if it were to work without naruto being a second place price or shes just with him bc she cant be with sasuke. but i believe with the n/s developments with this chapter and the next few til the end of the series i have faith that n/s will prevail.Every time i have found a manga or story or anything of the sort that involved pairings i pick one from the start and that is always the one that ends up being the end pairing so i hope the same happens for naruto.

Actually, I heard that save was from the third shippuden movie which hasn't came out in subs yet T_T

Anywayz, I love the chapter! I knew that Naruto was going to realize it wasn't going to be the same! Anything could happen now, and I really mean anything. I mean, Sasuke still remembers everyone from the village, and now, Naruto has the capability to change Sasuke's heart about things. That or he'll just kick Sasuke's A**!
I don't want to say that Sakura has stopped loving Sasuke, but I don't want to say that she still does. I definitely think that she still cares from him, but like someone said earlier, she still remembers the Sasuke from before. The one she had loved. It would be difficult for anyone to have to kill someone they loved...
I also think that the Karin part was pretty cool
But my fave part of this chapter is alwayz going to be Naruto's Awesome Entrance!

yup lol and i know this has nothing to do with it but like when i seen the series escaflowne the main female fell in love with like two guys before getting and falling in love with the main male, so not to say that will happen bc they were created by two entirely diffrent people but i believe kishi could be yanking us for a ride like usual lol but still it was good in the chapter and it had to happen sometime.

With the extra development it's obvious that it's game changer, but for us it has to be the right game change or the manga doesn't equal out, especially for me. Right now SS and NH don't equal out, but all the pairing groups use the same arguement against each other, it's one sided. Looking right now, our pairing doesn't look one sided.

this is true, ours isnt one sided it just needs more development, which i believe will be on the way soon enough, however our pairing HAS TO solve the issue with sasuke before they can move foreward unfortunately he is the stone that is wedged between the two of them coming together

Damn. I might be a girl, but I don't think it's worth fighting over some GUY, I actually think it's pathetically stupid :l ... Thank goodness Sakura isn't like that, seriously. Does Sakura not realize what a great, loving, strong, goofy guy she's had all along? To give it up for a sick man that wants to kill you, geez. Kishimoto won't do that, I know it.

I know he wont, that was just my worst case scenario, and kishi COULD DO IT as he is the writer but it is highly unlikely, ultimately that would leave the manga flounder and dead as a oh it was an ok series Realistically though, I see this ending with N/S where both sides accept the other without regret, or no pairings are made at all thats just how i see it

Sasuke's blindness, in a way, is metaphorical.
As far as we know, you can't cure blindness, so for one, it'll be dark for the rest of their life.
Sasuke becoming blind means much more that that. It means that he'll forever be stuck in a dark path, and won't be willing to search for light. Sasuke is also kept in the darkness from the little meeting Naruto had with Itachi, so as far as Sasuke knows, Naruto is the same as ever. He also doesn't know about the encounter with Madara, when Kakashi, Yamato and Naruto were in (a hotel room?). That's why he shouts the lines as, "They're laughing" and "They don't know what Itachi has been through" and stuff.
And obviously, if Naruto was able t o bring Sasuke back to the 'light' or Konoha, then the manga would end. And he might fight Sasuke in the next chapters, but he won't get rid of Sasuke, because we all know that this isn't the end of the manga. The ultimate fight will surely be in the very end.
But now I'd like to read about a fight between the three apprentices of the Sannins. Hopefully Sakura knows the summoning jutsu. (That'd only add to her awesomeness --even though lately she has been everything but)

I doubt it was so much the feelings -for- Sasuke that stopped her, but more the memories of what he -used- to be that held her hand.

For a more rational human being, especially one who is a trained medic, that would take some incredible willpower to kill or put down a person who you used to love, be on a team with, etc. She came close, but honestly, I wasn't surprised that she couldn't do it. If Naruto was in her shoes, I doubt he could have either. Look how hard Kakashi is trying to NOT kill Sasuke as well.

I agree with you and jinsterr. It's remnants of her feelings for the way Sasuke was back in Team 7 and the team mate bond, plus a medic nin is trained to save lives, and her compassionate nature all together. Plus she was attacking from the back too the second time. As I said she has never assassinated anyone, Kakashi has- 42 S ranked missions.

Look even at how Tsunade had to think over her plan to kill Orochimaru during that week. And that was with her having had 95 S ranked missions in her history. And look as well how neither she or Jiraiya (138 S ranked missions) went after Orochimaru after that, despite knowing what he was doing. Look as well how they mourned him too, despite what he had done and become. And they had years to deal with Orochimaru's turn to darkness. For Naruto and Sakura it's much harder, harder than it is for even Kakashi- and he's still trying to reason with Sasuke in this chapter.

So, its possible Naruto did that epic "catch Sakura in his arms" save in the third shippuden movie huh? I don't think that will be good for canon, I think it could diminish the value of Naruto actually doing it in the story.
