EVERYONE NEEDS TO CALM THE kitten DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!
BESIDES ITS ONLY kittening FEBUARY!!!!!!!!!
SO RELAX GOOD GRIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look Kishi said he wants to make Sakura more heroic and he will. Of course he can always change his mind his damn story. The man needs money so therefore he'll be force to spin his story sometimes to keep the cash flowing to satisify all types of fans as he is right now with SS. Everyone mangaka does this act even the great Toyuma Akira with DBZ for the series should have ended after Goku defeated Frieza. Unfortunately fandom got in the way and was force to continue for the next few years.
As my in take of this chapter....
Personally if Sakura wants to eliminate Sasuke now would be the perfect opportunity. The man is tired from his battle with Danzo, injured Karin so she wouldn't be able to heal him, Juugo & Seijutus are from his reach, & Madara busy at the moment and even if he does help its usually when its dire to point Sasuke will lose or die. Also she has lots going for her as she has element of surprise. Sasuke may be stronger but not by much since he relied on his sharigan and his sight has weaken significantly. She's acting like part 1 Naruto, but is overhead, not being absolute rash, and this decision will bite her in the ass in several chapters.
Naruto is very clever and cunning for tricking Yamato like that. With him & Kakashi under way Sakura's plans may be ruined depending on how Kishi wants to spin it. I predicted that the Naruto manga is coming to an end either this year or next. As we see we are expecting an full team 7 reunion. Basely, the two main resolutions are Sasuke & Madara. I say we may have Naruto vs. Sasuke in the summer (can be earlier depends on Kishi).
Must keep an eye on the next chapter because that will be the turning point of Sakura. Sasuke isn't stupid but then again never taken Sakura seriously. For Kakashi to reach Sakura there must be a delay. Either Sakura healing Karin, talking or fighting Sasuke. That the only way for Kakashi to catch up.
Let light be our guide towards victory
Whenever there's despair there's a darkness, whenever there's hope there's a light and it's up to us to bring in that light.

He can still create a chidori he must have a reasonable amount of chakra left or wise he would hurt himself
I dont have a clue what is going to happen next chapter. I look forward to it.

Do you SERIOUSLY think Sakura's plan would be to gain Sasuke's trust and then kill him? Sakura knows Sasuke has gone off the deep end, now with his joining in the Akatsuki? She knows he doesn't care about Konoha and Team 7 anymore.
To me, it's obvious she saw Sasuke about to kill someone, and she yelled his name in the hope of stopping him in his tracks. Her declaration probably won't hold water with Sasuke, even if he believed it, he wouldn't want to take her along- she knows that. It seems to me it's just a distraction- her wanting to join him is meant to confuse him and throw him off guard for a few minutes. (If she wanted to join him she wouldn't be thinking "Is this really Sasuke....?")
Furthermore, she's also just seemingly on purpose reinforcing the image of her 12-year-old self who tried to stop him by even offering to go with him- to trick him. Look, I just can't see Sakura leaving with Sasuke. If she really is, why then didn't she sneak off to find him before that? Remember it was ONLY after Sai talked to her that she decided to leave for Iron Country- and the first purpose was to talk to NARUTO.
Now everyone, let's just all take a breather and wait for things to be clear next chapter.

First and foremost, a public announcement:

To those who are in a state of panic, go and make your favourite drink, sit down and chill for a few minutes.

Sakura's declaration at the end is all part of her plan. She knows she can't go toe-to-toe with Sasuke in a fight, so she plans to assassinate him when he lets his guard down. She can clearly see how much Sasuke has changed - as if Karin dying at his feet isn't proof enough. There are absolutely no hints of her old feelings for Sasuke, and SasuSaku is not about to make a sudden re-emergence. Any SasuSaku fans celebrating are only setting themselves up for disappointment within the next few weeks/months!
I'm interested in how Karin will react. Remember she's a walking lie-detector. Sakura doesn't know Karin, so she isn't aware she's a sensor type. So, if Karin detects Sakura lying, will she give the game away? On one hand, she likes Sasuke, but on the other hand, he just stabbed her and was about to kill her off. So it's possible Karin might be unsure and just see how things play out.
I feel torn in my predictions. There are a few likely outcomes, with slight variations:
1. Sakura and Sasuke get away. Naruto and Kakashi arrive too late and find Karin and help her. Problems with this outcome - Sakura may not be able to heal Karin as Sasuke was planning to kill her. She'd have to slip a few tablets and hope Kakashi could help Karin. Also, Naruto is in Sage Mode so he can detect faraway chakras. I doubt they could get away quickly enough to avoid detection.
2. Sasuke rejects Sakura's offer. This could result in a fight. However, Sasuke is already injured and tired. I really doubt Kishimoto would let Naruto and Sasuke go at it while Sasuke isn't at full strength.
3. Sakura attempts to do a Tsunade. She could pretend to use healing chakra, but actually generate killing chakra (just like Tsunade did at her meeting with Orochimaru). A couple of problems with that - Sasuke is unlikely to trust Sakura off the bat, and Karin can sense chakra. I'm not sure Karin would want to keep quiet if Sasuke was about to die. Again, a possible fight.
When you consider that Kishimoto said Sakura would be "cold" to Naruto for a while, I think #1 is the most likely outcome. Sakura would have to put on a facade to try and fool Sasuke. (Unless, of course, Kishi was just trolling)
Well, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Anyway, after reviewing everything including interviews, the manga, and everything else Kishimoto has said, this is definitely nothing to REALLY be concernicus about. (Yes, I like to say "concernicus")
He said Sakura will be the heroine from now even if she has to do things...differently. There is definitely something more to it than most would like to think. I don't know if Sasuke will take this straight forward.
Does anyone remember when Sai went with Orochimaru? We all thought he was some kind of enemy, but look how he is now?

For one, Karin's myserious village plot hole isn't so gaping anymore, now that we know she's from one of those lesser-known villages with no backstory. As well as that, we get a little peek as to what happened between Karin and Sasuke that made her so attracted to him. I now laugh at the A-SK fans who say Sasuke and Karin have no development, because, truthfully, they have about as much as SS.
Not that it matters.
Also, very glad to see that Naruto is conscious - and, better yet, doing something. He's on his way to find Kakashi, who is on his way to find Sakura, who is now with Sasuke... If you make the connection, you'll find that the situation is getting very heavy now. Could this possibly be the last arc? (Doubting it, but who knows?)
So I think it's safe to say that the series is finally emerging from the dark, static place it's been in for the past few chapters and we can get back into action.
Oh, and I'm not concerned about Sakura really betraying Konoha. I'm not sure exactly of her motives, but anyone who thinks otherwise is just foolish.
EDIT: Lol, Smiter: :True:

Yeah I really think that little tidbit of information was thrown out there to make us see that he really needs a medic now.
Ironic, yes? He needs Sakura now, more than anyone.
And as for Karin, yes he's deep-sixed his healer, but she was more of a chakra squeeze bottle than medic. She wouldn't have been able to help him now.
No offense to Karin fans - in that flashback Karin comes across as weaker than Sakura has ever been. Think about the ordeal she went through at the same time, battling sound nin who were actively trying to kill her and her teammates, and put that against Karin v. random bear. Turning to see 'that face, one last time' - gag.
My honest thought was that this was a character who hasn't changed at all. For all Karin knows, Sasuke is going to kill her right now, and she's still fangirling. Sakura however, is coming back in front of him, extremely powerful, and with a plan. She's desperately lying to those around her to protect Naruto.
Just thinking, if Naruto comes across them, and she is in too deep with Sasuke, then she may have to lie to Naruto to protect him.
This could really up the angst level!! We could get a lot of mileage out of that! I think that once their relationship is resolved this manga will be just about over - probably one last epic battle, then the end.
Also, loved the scenes with Kiba and Lee! It was great to see friendly faces, after wasting so much time in *cue dramatic music* DARKNESS, da-da-dum.
