It's not over yet until Sakura says "I love you Sasuke-kun" but wait she did said that to Naruto. Besides I'm not going to stop liking N/S just because you "assumed " that because Sakura told Sasuke she wants to join him when it's clearly a plan to kill him. This proves how desperate S/S fans have become.

Again, Kishimoto is the master of plot twists so never take anything at face value.

The lastest chapter proves absolutely nothing. What I mean is, Sakura LIED she didn't mean it; with this much development, people are crazy to actually think she'll go with him. Seriously. NaruSaku isn't over my friends. The pairing Wars is still on till someone loses there footing! There truely is no need to fear ^^

First off supporting a certain pairing is not really about winning or losing, it's about supporting a pairing which in your view is the best match. This applies to all fandoms, i.e. in Harry Potter there are allot of Harry/Hermione fans who still beleive in that fandom even though it's proved not to be the case, and they'll continue to support it (Personally don't understand that pairing, it's too similar to sibling relationships in my opinion.).

Sometimes the final pairing isn't always the best one, it's just the one the creater planned from the beginning and they'll stick to it no matter how little it makes. Other times they have to raise their hands in defeat and change the pairing to the one that makes more sense, (An example of this was in Dawson's Creek, the main pairing was always meant to be Dawson and Joey, but the side kick always had better chemistry with her and after they got together, and no matter how hard they tried they never managed to make Dawson and Joey's relationship as convincing, Pacey and Joey fans in the end.)

That said this war is far from over, Kishi's just playing mind games to get everyone really frustrated and yet keep everyone hooked (Though if he keeps concentrating on Sasuke I for one will move to some other Manga, haven't watched the TV show for almost a year and when I went back to it couple of weeks ago spoilers started so i'll wait till that's over before I decide to catch up.) He threw the Naru/Hina fans a bone then snatched it away then did the same with NaruSaku fans and now he's doing the same with SasuSaku, In a few weeks times we'll be back in the village with Kakashi as Hokage, Naruto training with Bee and Sakura...finally brushing up on her talent in Genjutsu from Kurenai....well that's what I am hoping, it's strange how it's always mentioned how Naruto sucks at Genjutsu and how Sakura was originally a Genjutsu type, that skill never got developed.

So as long as Sakura doesn't turn heel like this weeks chapter is leading (badly I might add) you to beleive, i'll keep on supporting the pairing, even if it isn't the final pairing, i'll just b*tch and moan about it how Kishi obviously doesn't know how to pair charactors together. Though judging from ohter relationships Naruto/Sakura make the most sense.

Besides who's to say any pairing will win, he might kill off everyone and have Naruto end up with TenTen.

You're right. For many shippers its really about shoving it up the collective rear ends of opposing fandoms.

I will be disappointed beyond words if NaruSaku doesn't happen.
I won't ever be able to accept it, promise you.
I will go on supporting Naruto and Sakura as a couple, regardless.
Even if Kishi doesn't do what I believe he should...
That doesn't mean I can't love the pairing just the same.
I can still enjoy fanfics, fanart, and AMVs. <3
I've supported NaruSaku for four years now.

I would so be dissapointed! D: Really! I hoped so much on this pairing. And if it turns out Naruhina or i dont know. I would be so dissapointed. I even get scared when i think of it now. I would read the manga until it finishes, but i would still stick with Narusaku. Writing my own Fanfics and reading them or something.

What'll we do if we lose? Well, if you're an acclimated and adjusted human, you'll be fine. Ok, maybe you'll be a bit pissed, but hey, it's fiction after all. Part of the fun in a series is getting attached to your character and rooting for them. It's like a relationship without the consequences.

Anyways, if anyone is an Avatar fan, they'll remember the battle between the Kataang and Zutara shippers. Although Zutara's numbers were huge, they didn't get their pairing. However, this hasn't stopped the flow of art or the support for Zutara. Most have adjusted by realizing most relationships don't last forever, especially in your teens, so there's a chance your character could end up with your preferred partner.

In sum, it won't be the end of the Earth and the trolls are the ones that concern me. What'll they do after no one cares?

WTF!?! Not trying to center just you out or anything but when the hell did Naruto=Harry Potter!?! The story and characters are different architypes!

I wouldn't like it if we lost but Kishi is really going to have to sell it to me.

To a person who's been coming off a 3 hour Bioshock 2 high those * don't seem sarcastic. Then that second sentence seems factual so it's confusing until I read everything else in the thread. And yes it is a bad comparison, the sibling arguement is a stereotypical excuse.
