I'm not sure he was using anger when he was talking. Maybe that's me...

To me it was. He was angry at how Sakura's promise is like a 'curse' to Naruto. He even compared what Sakura is doing, to the curse seal on his tongue that Danzou put there. That's pretty heavy stuff, and expressing some pretty strong emotions.

Question(s): who is Danzo's source for the information that Madara is in charge of Akatsuki? I guess he could have had a spy overhear Naruto when he told Kakashi.. but I just can't think of any other way unless he's actually come into contact with Tobi....

Also, no mention has been made that Konoha city was demolished, and they're arguing about how much of a threat Akatsuki is actually posing them. I wonder exactly how Danzo explained why he's there instead of Tsunade?

Remember Naruto debriefed Kakashi and Yamato. Sai was there, and he had to report to Danzo.

Therefore that's how Danzo figured out.

The kanji is the symbol for Samurai. It means "serve" literally.

Bravo Sai!

Now we can get things rolling here with NS. Now it finally makes since why Naruto is still pursuing Sasuke even though its now futile. I will it's rather sad that Sakura has only figure out Naruto's true feelings for (I mean wasn't obvious). It took Sai to spill the beans and she having a breakdown, it's a good thing that Naruto out therefore gives her some time to figure out her issues. Plus I think this where we will see some her development in comparison to Danzo issue Sakura would play a better and interesting role than Naruto. Besides being a junchjurki & new hero what else? Now Sakura is Tsunade's apprentice, actually took leadership, knows the "role" of Hokage, & many more... Plus Sakura hasn't had a big moment since the Rescue Gaara arc, why not shed some light here. Remember Kishi did say that he'll develop Kakashi & Sakura first then Naruto. The only reason Naruto took light again because everyone is sick of Sasuke, Naruto seem weak in comparison to others, he's the main character, & everyone wanted to know what's going back at Konoha.

You know I really love the Raikage, this guy cracks me up! He makes a good point that all the other 4 major villages actually did business with Akatsuki and all of the members come from their village. So technically it only seems fair that Raikage should be leader not Danzo because Konoha has Naruto. I swear we have a tyrant on the rise and another thing how they give power to Danzo when he isn't the kittening Hokage!

I thought he was? The way he went about getting the position was underhanded as hell, but I thought it was pretty clear he was put as the next Hokage due to Tsunade being incapacitated indefinitely.

He's not official until the jonins vote! Until then he's practically temporarily.

I could easily see her following the path of Jman and Oro, perhaps a few last words to Sakura though? I guess we'll find out soon enough, I highly doubt she'll stay in that coma forever. Now would be the perfect situation for a wake up and final word thing as well.

No doubt she'll wake up but it won't be until Konoha or Sakura is in dire strats and I do sense her death may apply soon but unlike Naruto, Sakura will receive some final words before Tsunade pass and then we'll see Sakura develop & fight as the new Slug Sannin.

Yea, but Sai just did that.. and Tsunade has already helped Sakura by training her.
I think Tsunades character is more critical for Narutos character development than Sakuras, at this point.
Which reminds me, I noticed that Shizune looked right at Tsunade when Sai said, "Kakashi has faith in Naruto. I think he wanted to give Naruto a chance even if it's useless."


Wonder what Naruto is going to do now?
