Kishimoto only mention that he will add romance on second part, he never say that there will be love love moment and as far as I'm concerned, Asuma (RIP) and Kurenai is considered romance to me. Sure its not much, they never shown kissing or even hugging for that matter but the "feeling" is there.
I'm happy IF Narusaku does happen but if they don't hook up, it won't surprise me either.

you know... you post makes me wonder if the guy is made of pure win or pure fail. There seems no in between for him. I mean, who else can make a successful series when they don't even try to make it kick ass? while at the same time he tried to make the series sucks but it ends up creating even bigger fanbase.
(Edit - Please try not to double post)

Love is not about admiring the strength or perfection of the person but to fully accept their shortcoming and weakness. - Me

Now, as for the Harry Potter scenario (hey, if you don't agree with me, you don't have to reply). I'm going to confess: I've only read the first book, and from there I just went and watched the movies. The only reason I know about Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermoine is because...well, everyone is talking about them. Now, based on what I have seen, the first book implied Harry and Hermoine. However, I think by the second book Harry develops a crush on Cho (hey, I did a similar thing at his age), and he really can't pay attention to Hermoine if that's the case. I'd imagine it was this crush that caused Hermoine to get closer to Ron, and she was. Didn't they hold hands in the third book. There was also that girl in the fifth movie/book, who could see those phantom horses. I thought the two of them would make an interesting couple. What I'm saying is that Rowling made Harry develop many potential romantic relationships. Naruto only has one. Also, while the consensus I'm hearing is that Harry/Ginny was completely random, I'm getting WHY she did it. She wanted Harry, Ron and Hermoine to be siblings (well, in-law anyway). I think it's a neat idea, but I will have to agree that if no one saw it coming, she should have prepared the fans for the possibility. Besides, Rowling seems to enjoy stirring up the fan-base (Dumbledore probably lacked the viagra for any intimate relationship anyway).

Agreed, and thank you.

We've seen the obvious parallel Kishi has set up between Naruto/Sakura and Jiraiya/Tsunade. Not only that, but Pein is currently on his way to Konoha and there's a very likely chance he or Konan will kill Tsunade, and Sakura will obviously want revenge for that; so there's the possibility of a tag team battle.
There's a lot going on right now with Naruto training and Pein coming to rape Konoha, but I expect a lot of NaruSaku action when Naruto returns.

Exactly, just about every shipping is created with the impression that it could or could not happen. Of course some fans don't accept that their shipping might not happen and are in complete denial about it and get completely defensive and often are condescending whenever someone talks to them about it.
