Yeah... 1.0 is friggin badass. Is it just me or Shinji have more backbone in the movie than the 1 in the original series? and Rei is a bit less... cold? I don't recognize the girl with glasses in the trailer but I think its either Hikari or Mana Kirishima from the Evangelion: Girlfriend of steel. I'm leaning toward the former though

I don't quite remember where I read this, but supposedly that girl is a brand new character.

Her name is Mari, and is a brand new character added to the show. She pilots Eva-Unit 05.

Pretty excited... will probably be my favorite movie of them all since it's Asuka full.

I'm surprised that we have a whole bunch of Asuka fanboys here and I have yet to hear a peep or mention of someone fanboying (or fangirling) over Rei XD

My little update concerning 2.0 and the US release of 1.0.
First things first.

And news concerning 1.0

English Dub Cast
Now its with a sad and heavy heart to say that most of the original cast will not be appearing in the new movies. Spike Spencer and Allison Keith will be coming back as Shinji and Misato. And some of the voices for the movies and director's cut will be coming back as well. So all is not lost. Well... As long as they can get Tiffany Grant back on, but I know she's excited and WILLING to do the voice again.


That's it for now fans. If you find a torrent of 2.0 that isn't BS. Then by all means link it for the rest of us. Movies come out later this month and in Nov.10. Be prepared for more fanservice!

OMFG dude Mari!!! I've been seeing the rumors and I'm really excited about her role. Plus, more fanart would be a plus!

And yeah 2.0 torrents are hard to find. The last one I found was like 100 gigs. I am not amused! hm.png

PS: Asuka is NOT Tsundere... Tsundere means putting strong front but actually really gentle. Asuka does NOT qualify as gentle in ANY way...

most probably not, as far as I see this movies goes, it merely re-tell the story of eva with only slight changes from the original. My guess is that Asuka will still be violent to Shinji (and anyones else for that matter) until probably the last minutes.

Movie 4 is supposedly going to be something new, so we'll see how it turns out.
