More than often, I can't look for a specific author using the PenName search, and ususally the page never loads. Anyone else have this problem?

The author search is very finicky. I haven't used it in a long time, but I'm pretty sure I can remember that it has problems with searching for a portion of the author's name. Unless it's not how the name starts, it won't list it.

I think it's like doing search for 'Red', will pull up everyone who's name starts with 'Red', but not if their name ends with 'Red'.

I have the same problem too and also I have problems sometimes when searching for a Story under the story´s name or summarie.

The conclusion; ffnet search feature sucks.

Is it just me, or did the ff.ent log in pg change??? I tried loging in, and I noticed something with numers and i typed it in, it was correct i think, but i couldn't log in. ANy one notice that? And yeah, the search feature sucks -BEEP-

Took me a few tries to get in, even when I wrote in the right numbers.

Took me 2 tries to get in just now. Yesterday, it took me like... 5 or 6.
And yes, I did type in the right numbers.

The system's still a bit buggy, but you'll get in just fine if you stick on it.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a problem, but i hate the new search engine. :headbash: It takes FOREVER to find a fic now.... I liked the old version better....
