Sounds like a money grubber plan to me. But of course I have no particular comment. I stil don't have the game because my current iPhone is too old.

Apparently it's a bug according to Niantic, though I would love to know what kind of developers they have working over there that everytime they fix something they end up breaking more things in the process. First they tried to fix server issues they broke the nearby Pokemon making it near impossible to find pokemon, second time they try to fix server issues they end up making Pokemon even more difficult to catch, pokemon fleeing more often, and no longer giving XP for nice, great and excellent throws.

I think we should cut them a bit of slack.... Niantic isn't a giant start-up numbering in thousands of employees. But honestly, Google should be lending them their staff to keep up with the insane demand.

Well it is a Google owned company that was spun off to do it's own thing, and Google did help fund development of Pokemon Go...so I'd say Google has provided them enough. The rest is up to them to continue growing.

 

Plus they've earned over $200 in Microtransactions in 30 days, even after Google and Apple take their cut, that's still $140 Million they've got to expand.

 

I gave them plenty of slack, I still give them slack as it is a fun game and is constantly improving, the latest update fixed a few more problems, ofcourse introduced a few others. but it's a constant improvement. But the Grind...man I tell you the grind is really difficult, my local Gym got taken over by someone who is level 32, that person must have spent allot of money and done nothing but play the game to get to that level...or they cheated.

I have a question btw cus I've evolved a few bad pokemons and I'm wondering, does the attacks on a pre-evolved pokemon affect the attacks the evolved version? Like I have 2 Flareon and one have 1402cp, the other 1250. But the strongest one have a special attack that is 55, and the weakest one has 100. I've tried to figure this out because I've evolved other pokemons with strong attacks and they came out with even weaker ones than before. Is it pure luck or what? If I have an Eevee with 560cp and attack with 40, and another one with 450cp and a 70 attack, which one would you evolve?

Don't get me started on friggin Magmar's I've so far been lucky enough to get 8 10KM eggs, I've also been unfortunate enough that 3 of them were Onyx, 1 of them were Schyther, and four of them were frigging Magmar's. I've come to hate 10KM eggs because of them, specially when I see Laprus and Snorlax's hatch from friends and family's 10k eggs.

you could use fastpokemap.com it shows where pokemon are but right now the site has some bad code/memory leak so its not 100 percent functioning. it does work though i caught a squirtle near giant with it

idk according to the creator it works in all areas right now niantic is blocking the site and the servers are not scaled so its not working properly you can check his twitter to find out if he has fixed or ask if its only not working where you are

That's weird, cus the map is worldwide. :/ Works for me. Maybe it's your network or something, or a part of their technical difficulties.

what levels are you guys at? i started a week ago and now i'm lvl 11 with my strongest pokemon pinsir at cp 510

I just got on 22. Need 100 000 XP for next level O: My strongest are a 1491 flareon, 1483 vileplume, and a 1434 nidoking

 

I'll just spare evolving until I use lucky egg and incence, and then do it all at once so it won't be as bad as it sounds
