Loooooool im almost giving up on this forum really!!! I thought i would find lots of happy NS. I cant believe you can't see things through...

Its not that Kate its just many feel Kishi won't do this or the manga would still be going on if it did and even if he did add more chapter tomorrow and said it was all a trick he may still have Naruto end up as a kitten dad I mean look at the Bolt film.

 

I do like your idea and would make a good fanfic that I would read.

I'm sorry but what exactly were you expecting? You can't expect people to believe in Kishi or his great writing skills that he doesn't have. We gave him a shot and he let us down. We gave him another shot and he let us down again. Yet again we gave him a shot and let us down yet again.

People eventually got tired of being let down and realized that he doesn't care about us. People didn't lose faith, they lost faith in him. Everyone got tired of being treated like an idiot.

 

Do you know all the dumb things he's been saying since the end? Do you know that he said he used that he purposely mislead the fans in believing that Naruto will end with Sakura through the parallel of Minato and Kushina only to reveal that it was a red herring all along, do you know that? And he used the parallel that he himself said is a red herring, to try to justify Naruto and Hinata.

Do you know he said that he killed Neji as a cupid for Naruto and Hinata? The idiot actually said that and not only is it stupid and it doesn't even make any sense because the movie showed that Naruto ended up with Hinata because of his rivalry with Toneri and pity.

 

Speaking of pity. Did you know he said he picked NH because he felt pity towards Hinata?

Did you know he said that Sakura would be a terrible woman if she moves on from her first love? But he has no problem allowing other women and men to move on from their first love.

And the list goes on for a very long time.

 

You can't expect people to give him a chance when he's done nothing to show us that he deserves a chance.

We are old generation, we've been following naruto long ago. If you done that doesn't mean everyone in the world should do the same, there is always new people who just began watching/reading naruto and 'MAYBE' kate is one of them. People who just starting reading naruto will discuss the thing that WE discuss Long ago, like maybe about sakura confession, about kushina dying wish or part one naruto.

 

If you understand what i mean, for example its like a teacher, when you done teaching and your student graduate, and you think its over ... NO its not, next generation of student will come and you will have to teach them all over again. You teach your student how to swim, and after your student graduate, a new student come and ask you to teach him how to swim, and you said 'Why is everyone bringing up old stuff into the debate?'

 

So if you saying why everyone bringing kishi into the debate, or maybe why people still discussing genjutsu or some other old stuff. Maybe they just recently jump in, they are excited while we on the other hand done and don't want to discuss old stuff again. We discuss about IT possibility long ago and now we are done about that, now there a new guy/gal just join the forum, recently starting to read naruto and like NS and want to discuss about IT possibility and you guys spam him with

Somehow reminds me of Iron Man 3 movie, when Tony Stark said 'I had just created a demon and i didn't even know it, you start with something pure, something exciting, we create our own demon'

 

There will always new NS fan that come here, and they will discuss old topic like this, what you guys gonna do? ignore them? tell them 'Why are people bringing old stuff into the debate? tell them to go away?

I think you missed the point.

 

We had these exact same genjutsu theories prior to the Last, and it got us absolutely nowhere. I see no reason how this one is any different.

 

I'm only trying to prevent people from going through the sadness and disappointment the NS fandom went through a year ago. I'm not trying to be mean but I just want to get my point across that if nothing has changed yet, then it's unlikely anything ever will.

Really fair point, but missed main subject of thread. Kate's theory is not bad, it's at least makes logic on it's own, but given all the facts around Naruto (manga ended, 2 movies that scratched manga events and created another story, gaiden to back up all that) - possibility of it happening is 0.00001 or even less. THAT'S WHY, people who suffered in beliving "genjustu theory" in The Last (at that time after 700 and all it's missed points) it was a saving straw for them - trying to warn Kate so she won't be destroyed by her theory doesn't come up.

On other hand Kate is depressed by people in here - that's what happends when you come into non-belivers, but reality is cruel, nothing more, nothing less.

Its not that anyone is trying to tear Kate down, even though we clearly could have been a little less critical in retrospect...but we've already done this before, and she should be cautious where we were not.

Well.... I don't see a problem in still holding out for a genjutsu reboot. If it happens, it just means you will be right when everyone else was wrong! And yes, H&E is the place to talk about it. You're most likely to find supporters here, even if we have some fans who are battle-worn and feel differently now. So you may not get 100% support, but there is no problem at all in keeping a thread going to talk about the possibilities of a genjutsu.

 

After all, for those of us here during Chatte's epic theory thread, she really put so much into that theory that even I was believing it might happen! And if they ever decide to reboot the series or the ending, I firmly believe the groundwork is there for a new plot with the old characters. After all, it's all Kishimoto was toying with in the Road to Ninja. (What would happen if there was a dream world, etc.) He might not be around to write it, but I could easily see the franchise wringing out more money with a reboot.

 

Lastly, it's good for us to remember that there are going to be new users/fans coming H&E for the foreseeable future, fans who are new to the series or just started watching the anime, even though the manga has already ended. There will be new fans brought out by the last two movies. So though there may be threads like this that touch on topics you've already hashed out, remember there will still be users on this site who are new to H&E and the fandom.

 

And if they are reading the manga for the first time and expecting (as we all did) to have a happy NS ending...well then Kishi's betrayal at the end of the manga will be pretty fresh to them!! So don't be rude and shut them down because you've already 'been there, done that.' Let users have a chance to talk to other like-minded people, or point to older links/threads where discussion was hot on this topic (i.e. Chatte's theory thread).

 

Naruto, the franchise, is still going on. And so are we. All thoughts on Naruto, genjutsus, IT worlds, and any possible future where NS wins out are always welcome.

I agree reality is cruel she needs to get use to the fact non believers will not suddenly believe in this theory. She also need to realize this might not happen due to the fact it has such a small chance of it happening. However, it still makes more sense than what we got so it can be a good fan theory.

I'm feeling you are taking me lightly. First of all Naruto isnt my first anime/manga. I've grown up with Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon. Later on with Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X). This in my 13's in 1997 while playing Final Fantasy VII. But yeah! I'm only a Naruto fan for a year now but that doesn't make me less fan than anyone else. What I don't understand is for some people that I've met, that they watched so many Animes on their life (even so they are younger than me) Can't understand whats going on. For the ones who don't know Final Fantasy VII is a japanese videogame, and very resumed, its a story with a villain named Sephiroth that, while searching for the Black Materia, was going to the Promised Land to summon the Meteor to destroy the planet and bring Geostigma (desease). That's his plan as a villain and so for who doesnt know, he succeeded. Just like other stories, american or not, the villain has a plan that he most of the times succeed and we almost at the end see it getting solved/destroyed. Infinite Tsukuyomi is part of the plan, that succeeded and now Naruto needs to find a way to save everyone. Cant explain better than this 😧

kishimoto could not even begin to scrape the surface of the master piece that was ff7. He doesn't have the capacity for it. I'm not knocking your dreams, but so far i am not convinced

Either way the man has fumbled so badly with the story at numerous points its hard to give him even an Iota of credit...I honestly believe he was just tired of Naruto and wanted to end it in whatever way he could. If i'm wrong and there is some master plan i failed to see, I will forever be ashamed of myself   

FF7 tho...At least that cannot be ruined.

I want to believe it because i want NS to happen so bad. But i dont know if it is possible considering Kishi really has been avoiding this matter for a year now and the new movies just would murder his career even further because it would all have been fake. Maybe the anime crew could work it in as a spinoff but kishi wouldnt get involved to avoid getting more hate. I still hope though

Im just gonna say that [Correct me if im wrong] according to Kakashi 7 days/ a week in that Itachi Tsukuyomi is about 2-12 seconds in the real world and he ended up unconscious for 2 weeks straight, and who knows how long he stay in bed if Tsunade not come back and heal him.

 

I am very suck and math, Kate can you calculate how long 15 years [From the chapter you mention that the worst nightmare start until TL+GAIDEN+NOVEL+BORUTO MOVIE all combine] in IT world = how many days in real world??

 

Little remainder [Again correct me if im wrong] If people get trap and wrap in that 10 tails tree for a month or more they will turn into mindless puppet like white zetsu.
