It's such a shame what happened to square, they only have ff now...

Well the creative mind left only nomura and that ff tactic guy. Well at least they have eidos title right?

7 is more popular than 6. And it has the most demandable title.
Eventought 6 has better story.

So they have the FF7 remake, FF Chibi game, and FF15 in the works, then they have a Neir  and Star Ocean, game in development (and probably a Dragons Quest as well). Then the old Eidos is making a new Hitman, Two Lara Croft and Dues Ex and a Just Cause Game.

 

That's pretty much all their top franchises in development at the same time. That is really surprising, it makes you wonder if they are worried about their future and releasing everthing to turn a profit, or they are doubling down on console development because the rest of the thid party developers in Japan are shifting focus on the Mobile market and they see a chance to capture the giant share of the local market, and Western market clammering for JRPG's?

 

It really dow look like Sony succeeded in selling everyone a a set of dreams. The PS4 has a lousy line-up this year, shockingly bad. if you look at the conference again they don't have anything to entice you to buy a console this year and they've pretty much fooled the fanbase with nostalgia, Street Fighter, Shen Mue, and FF7 atleast one of these games is part of every 20+ gamers childhood, and Sony really banked on that. While I am hyped, I am pissed off as a owner of the PS4 that I am getting nothing worth playing again this year on the console. I have owned the console for almost a year now, and all I do is update the freaking firmware every other month. I want some actual games now. My XBO still gets played weekly, my PS4 is gathering more dust than my Ps3 did. Stop selling me the next year and the year after, sell me on now.
