I really love these subtle hints Kishi keeps giving to NS almost every chapter nowadays    Sakura and Naruto always notice each other, show conncern for the other and appreciate each other. Before last week it was Naruto appreciating Sakura's help in getting back Obito and Sakura showing concern when Naruto got hit. Last week in an Obito centric chapter, again Kishi gives a panel of Sakura observing Naruto's bodylanguage and being concerned. Now this week we have Sakura appreciating Naruto and Naruto noticing her being in danger! 
 
NH/SS fans would make a big deal if such things were given to their pairing. We don't make a big deal because it happens every so often and we are used to it. This is very telling.

You guys really want Sakura to have a powerup from a random asspull? I'm honestly glad that she's been staying out of it... for now, she's the only main character left I enjoy because she didn't went through that bullsh** yet. I'm more entertained by her insignificant panels than all the god bullsh** stuff going on.

Well, Kakashi has the Sharingan back. Well, temporarily, but by what measure? Will it disappear after the fight is over or does Obito mean temporarily in the sense that his regular Mangekyo will drain fast? Could this possibly lead to the path of Kakashi getting EMS via Shisui being the long lost brother of Obito?

 

Also, YES, glad to see that Kakashi is being considered for the position of 6th Hokage again. The number 7 fits Naruto so much better thematic wise. Plus I can imagine the six previous Hokage (if Kakashi does indeed get to survive (if Guy can survive, so can Kakashi at this point in time) the war) being a "good" counterpart to the Six Paths of Pain Jutsu.

 

I'm also digging the Super Tailed Beast Rasenshuriken attack Naruto did there. If only we could've seen each Rasengan variation on their own individual terms. It looks like we've got Shukaku's magnetism, Matatabi's blue fire (possibly scorch release?), Isobu's water (possibly storm release?), Son Goku's lava, Kokuo's steam (possibly boil release?), Saiken's bubbles (possibly ice release?), Chomei's... whatever it is, Gyuki's ink (perhaps it's the result of earth and wind? nah, steel would make more sense) and we have regular old Naruto doing his signature Wind Rasenshuriken.

What doesn't make sense( besides all the obvious BS that doesn't make sense in this manga) is the fact that Obito told Kakashi he will be the sixth hokage, when just last chapter he told Naruto to become hokage at any cost. Like WTF Kishi, you are just getting sloppy at this point.

 

side note; if kakashi actually does become the sixth hokage, they might show it in the new movie.

Seriously guys , Sakura's reaction is to Naruto's attack on Kaguya . It just showed what happens to everyone during Naruto's attack : Sasuke is pushed back and Naruto catches him while Sakura is on the side and just reacts to what Naruto does ... you are reading way too much into it . (Edit : KnS expressed it even better )

 

I am thinking again back to that interview in which Kishi said that he needs to deal with Kakashi first and then it's Sakura's turn . I am hoping now that Kakashi got something ( his character development is now COMPLETE  made peace with Obito , has 2 sharingan eyes etc ), maybe next Sakura will be the one to save the day with some new awesome power up . I have a feeling there still is something in store for her that is fighting / power-up related .

I think it's cool that Kakashi is getting the Sharingan for one last time. Like Obito said, it's not something permanent and will expire. Kishi is just trying to give Kakashi a moment just like he did for Sakura in 685.

I honestly would agree, except with the craziness of this chapter, I am not going to put it past Kishi, at least until the manga ends.

Kakashi is weak, unless his father has some hax secret jutsu or sudden surge of chakra capacity.
Now kakashi has both obito sharingan and could perform ps then he become relevant again.
But kishi will limit kakashi ms usage with his chakra capacity.

It was an entertaining chapter, although it was a pretty quick read. The ObiRin moment was cute with Rin not wanting Obito to leave but then accepting it and telling him she'll wait for him. I'm guessing Obito's spirit is within Kakashi, which is why he can use the sharingan, and that he'll go back to heaven once the war is over. He did say his gift would expire.

 

I think after Kaguya is dealt with and Kakashi no longer needs the emergency sharingan powers that we'll see a scene inside Kakashi's mind of Obito finally disappearing for good. And then I guess we could see a final scene of Obito and Rin going towards the light or something.

I just don't want Sakura getting saved all the time. This chapter was barely a step up from the lava scene, because this time Sakura was actually trying to get the hell out of the way, instead of doing absolutely nothing.

I'll be honest the chapter was pretty good, but there was one thing that through me off. The main thing was Obito's spirit/chakra entering Kakashi in order to regain the sharingan's. Which of course leads to his susanoo. Yes this is an asspul from Kishi, but at the same time I find it alright. However, I did like the small ObiRin moment in the beginning along with conversation he had with Kakashi. The tiny NS fragment in this chapter was also nice. Plus it was funny when Sasuke was like "What he's not even suppose to unlock that." Also remember I said there's no way Obito would be forgotten because this is his volume afterall. Now we just gotta see if this volume ends on chapter 689 or 690. 

 

  Incase anyone is wondering, this is the 9th chapter in the volume. This one starts with 680 (#1 in this volume)

THE ONLY GOOD PART ABOUT THIS ABOMINATION WAS THE OBIRIN MOMENT, THAT WAS CUTE, BUT STILL MADE NO SENSE.

 

I honestly thought that Obito is going to propose to Rin then with the Power of LOVE help kakashi get susanoo. lol
