Well congrats on taking the SAT! I hope everything goes well with getting to college and all. Everything is super stressful, being an adult and all. We're thrown into the adult world and we have to decide what we want to do with our lives when we really have no idea what it is we even LIKE to do. Kinda ridiculous.

If you're looking into college, for your major, I guess just really look at yourself and what you're passionate about and see how you could apply that in a job. I was actually considering switching to history major so that I could be a history professor or something, but I think I'll stick with music... Honestly though, you can get a career with any major, as long as you figure out how to apply it. My brother got a good job with a Spanish literature major for crying out loud

Good job on the license, too ^^ Hope you can find a job soon! (PS if you go to college on-campus jobs are like the easiest jobs in the world to get. Just so you know).

I want to study graphic design, I think. I know one option is to go to the community college here and study arts and humanity for two years, then transfer to SCADS. Mm, beyond that not sure, and need to look into things more. I also may need to work and save up money for a year or two.

I hate that I can't even let myself take a few days easy without feeling incredibly guilty. Even the excuse of "it's summer, set aside a few days for guilt-free fun and minimal responsibilities" isn't working.

Having this sense of responsibility would have been nice when I was in my teens.

 

 

I guess this thread isn't really much more than my vent box these days...huh. That kinda sucks. Maybe I should trash it.

Heeeey. I've logged back in in the first time since forever. So since leaving.....well, I went to mental health and got diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, went to therapy, learned how to tackle problems with executive functioning, finally got a steady job, and.....that's the highlights. Oh, I also just about three or four weeks ago got diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic......

 

As for what I'm into these days.....

Persona games, Dragon Ball, Date A Live light novels, My Hero Academia, Clannad (the visual novel), Blue Exorcist......and lots of stuff. I have too many interests to properly keep up with. Gone are the days when I focused only on one fandom and burned myself out on it.
