This was a good chapter and liked how it was done I just worry that now Sakura will be pushed to the side lines once again. I mean sure she has had a big part in keeping Naruto alive which I love, I just hope she will have a part.

As for Sasuke well more ass pulls for him is all I can say I just hope in the end Naruto will learn what a dosh Sasuke really is.

I really don't get why people have a problem with Kaguya having the byakugan.

When I heard of that spoiler yesterday I dismissed it because I assumed that the byakugan would be given some sort of plot importance, but as it turn out even if the spoiler was true it was just some offhanded comment to explain where it came from, along with the Sharingan.

It wasn't done to give the byakugan (or Hinata) plot importance, it was to emphasize Kaguya as the first chakra user, to show how everything came from her.

Really enjoyed this chapter. Looks like naruto and sasuke are going to wake up possibly next chapter or 2. The byakugan thing was a surprise. How did she switch back and forth from the Sharingan to byakugan? Weird. And I'm scratching my head because I did not see any indication of NH in this chapter. I think people have tunnel vision for their pairing. Hinata and the hyuuga weren't even mentioned in this chapter, so I don't understand why NH fans are excited. Doesn't effect narusaku at all.

Hopefully next week Naruto will wake up for real this time...

Oh he may we just need to deal with the Gai fight first and his next attack night moth which I wonder how that will help. But I also fear Kishi may skip or at least leave Naruto waking up next week.

Nice chapter, a lot of surprises!

I couldn't have been more wrong...Sasuke really is Indra's reincarnation .

So Sasuke's Rinnegan is cannon now? I mean, if Hashirama gave him his cells back in chapter 661...Ugh,This is so confusing!

Well, It's clear that the SO6P talked to both Naruto and Sasuke, but I doubt things will be that easy. We don't know what Sasuke's answer was, just Naruto's, and I can't picture him saying something like "I want do protect my friends!".

Why does everything has to be so easy for Sasuke? *getting real tired of your kitten*

And Kaguya really had the Byakugan huh... Well, personally I don't think this is such a big deal, I mean Kishi had to bring this up to tie up some loose ends, nothing Hinata-related imo.

Crap Crap Crap

Yeah, I know that feel! I got almost desperate for, like, 2 secs... But then I remembered that just like Naruto is the current Ashura's reincarnation, Hashirama was the previous one, and who did he get married to?

That's right, Mito! :hehehe:  Coincidence? I don't think so.

If Kaguya had to be related to Hinata in any way my guess is that this would explain Hinata's feelings towards Naruto as nothing more than motherly love, since Kaguya can be considered the Hero's grandmother in a way...

Okay, enough with daydreaming!

But it really bothers me the fact that Naruto learned about Obito's help but not Sakura's too...

Yeah, that's what I assumed when I read it.

This chapter really aggravated my chronic bias.  Sasuke just... makes me sick.

I'm so tired of him and his smug face.  I'm so tired of Kishimoto propping him up as if he's Naruto's equal in any way.  As if he's honorable and worthy deep down, and he's simply been disenfranchised and misunderstood.  Boo hoo.

I'm so tired of Naruto working so hard, and caring, and hoping, and denying himself, and forgiving, and then -- after doing whatever he pleases for his own cold and selfish reasons -- Sasuke walks back on the scene and is granted the same power, rights, and visionary responsibility as Naruto.

It kind of broke my heart to see Naruto smile so genuinely at the thought of essentially being Sasuke's brother, and that together they could make peace.

Naruto will be the one who makes it happen, and Sasuke will get equal credit?  It turns me off.

Sigh. I don't like being negative, but Sasuke leaves such a bitter and disgusting taste in my mouth that I can't help it.

I hate be a pessimistic about the manga to but when you give the same importance to sasuke it really does bug me whatever happen to those days when naruto was the central focus of the manga? we might as well start  calling this manga narusasu. Also sakura not playing much of role is another thing bugging me. Oh and we have kyagugo being related to byakugan so is kishi giving hinata another layout (that doesn't seems to go anywhere at times)or he just wanted to finish his story telling of the whole clan origin story? Not trying to be a paranoid of this whole thing with hinata why does she seems to get better moments than sakura? Even if she does get all the best moments she falls Short not only is that a waste of development that could have gone to sakura  But sakura would have had a better reputation as a character rather than stale hateful one. I stopped expecting so much for this manga a long time ago it appears kishi wants to do whatever he wants to do with his story these days. Hopefully kishi will still make sakura an important figure in naruto life by actually giving her a role If that dosen't come true in the next chapter or afterwards its time to put this manga down for good. Im really sick of waiting for female lead to anything but be a healer he really seems to have forgotten what sakuras role is like the whole chiyo issue. Anyway im just sick of having to feel paranoid I rather be positive of what i like life is to big to be depressed about this manga.

Agree. It took me a few panels to catch on to what was happening. Naruto is the child of prophecy! Enjoy your status for three, two, one.... *whispers* now read the fine print about it being just about the bijuu. And then Bam! there's Sasuke. Sorry, Naruto, you're only one half of a f'd up whole, a hangover from sibling rivalry a few generations before you. But don't feel bad, you're just as special as Sasuke is!

It would be like reading Harry Potter (another child of prophecy), only to get to book seven and discover that the prophecy only applied to aspect of his life and that really to reach his destiny he must now partner with Draco (and that his destiny really had been equally foretold, only no one knew about it).

This is what frustrates me about Kishimoto. He violates his own long-term story lines. Naruto has been the child of prophecy. He has been the one who will restore peace. But now, the rules have changed: It's up to him and Sasuke. Apparently neither can do it alone. While this is great for balance, touchy-feely story, etc., it veers from the expectations originally set forth: That this is Naruto's hero's journey, not Naruto and Sasuke's.

(It reminds me of when Itachi converted Sasuke from his evil ways. That was supposed to be Naruto's sole objective. But he got a pass.)

And yeah, I hated to see Naruto's genuine smile. I so feel like Sasuke doesn't deserve it. And Naruto saying they were great friends!?!?! Wha?! Am I reading the same story? Since when have they been 'great friends'? This, to me, is one of those lines Kishimoto throws in there to hand-wave over all of Sasuke's dirty work and all of Naruto's responsibility to hold his crummy friend accountable.

La-la-la! We're friends...so whatever Sasuke did, it's all okay now! La-la-la!

Last thing that I know is going to bother me in the future is when we find out that lots of people knew about this reincarnation thing: Madara, Obito, Itachi, the Uchihas who understood the stone, the old Uzumakis (probably), Nagato, Jiraiya, the toads....

Sort of like finding out that there was a much wider circle of people who were fiercely loyal to Minato, etc., in life, yet didn't step up to keep Naruto from being Konoha's outcast as a child.

Ugh. Sasuke. I did enjoy the chapter overall, but that aspect just brings the whole thing down for me!

On another note, the mythology is interesting. I wonder how the Rabbit Goddess's story is going to play out? I have a feeling she unleashes some sort of evil into the world (or the bijuu themselves) that the son has to atone for. With the last big bad black image of her, I don't think she goes quietly into that good night.

That's why i said earlier that Naruto and Sasuke bromance screwed the story.
It's just disgusting Sasuke is getting his redemption being handed to him without even working for that.

It reminds me of Sakurasou on the scene where the main character was crying because he discovered that hard work doesnt pay off, he worked hard to make up his game and in the last minute it was rejected by an editor, and his genius classmate got a job proposal for drawing a single panel on his project on which was rejected by him.

Muhahahaha So the Byakugan is the root of all evil!!!! So I guess the other sibling got the Byukagan then? This explains why they had the seal to control the branch family, their true goal was to control all humans under their power...that's true evil for you. All this time they were allowed to get away with their evil ways.

Well Hashirama and Madara being the previous reincarnations of Ashura and Indra is no surprise at all. As I said before, it can't have been coicidence that Sasuke was born shortly after Madara died, and then Naruto a couple of months later.

iI really wanted to punch Kiba in the flashback again, someone who fell for a simple sleep bomb trick should not be telling others what they should be doing.

This chapter was a bit confusing, both the Mangapanda and mangastream versions were a bit confusing, specially MS where the sage kept calling Kaguya their mother, instead of our (or my) mother, so did the sage end up marrying his own mother? It was a bit odd.

I wonder though did Sasuke decide the same thing as Naruto or did he decide something else? We didn't actually see what Sasuke decided, it felt like this was happening in parallel, well next chapter should be good. Also the Sage talked about Madara using Ashura's chakra to unlock the Rinnigan but isn't Sasuke getting the same treatment?

But it really bothers me the fact that Naruto learned about Obito's help but not Sakura's too...

Dude she's holding his heart literally in her hands keeping him alive, he'll know that she helped keep him alive. He doesn't need to be told, he'll see it for himself, which is 100 times better.

Wow, I'm actually surprised at how much I hated this chapter. Sasuke and Naruto being put on equal footing as 'children of prophecy' is just BS. I'm sick of Sasuke getting everything handed to him in spite of everything he's done. Why is this manga even called "Naruto" when it all comes back to Naruto and Sasuke?

As for NH fans using Kaguya having the byakugan as evidence, I really don't care. They can do what they want.

Now I'm going to read some Deadman Wonderland to get my mind off this crappy chapter.

I do wonder how the wake up scenes between Naruto and Sasuke will go down. I certainly hope that there will be a touching moment between Naruto and Sakura, but there's always the chance that it could be skipped over for the sake of Naruto triumphant return just as Madara is about to defeat Gai.

Let's hope the recovery in Kamui land isn't skipped.

That's right, Mito, the greatest medical-nin! :hehehe:  Coincidence? I don't think so.

Well, Mito isn't really a medic, not that we know of at least. Hashirama is the one who's renowned for his fast healing, remember?

It's funny in a way, like they have a role reversal to Naruto and Sakura as the jinchuriki and the healer.

Lol I know but next will shall see either way it could go down like this

1 Kishi skips its and just shows Naruto on the battle and we NS fans will be ticked off while the NH fans jump for joy.

2 does show it and we get our NS moment and the NH fans are all ticked off.

Either way one group will not be happy next week or in the coming chapters

I KNEW that was a third eye. Damn, Kaguya is one crazy kitten. A goddess turned demon, I don't think her story is over just yet (at least tell us what happens to her in the end!). Yeah, at this point, I'm more interested in Kaguya and the Bro6p, than Naruto/Sasuke's destiny and all that crap. As for Sakura, imho, this fight is simply out of her league. The gap between Sakura and her teammates was already wide enough, but after this chapter? I'd keep your expectations of a powerup to a minimum. One thing I do see happening is her being the first recepient of this ninshuu, once Naruto wakes up. That, or she unveils some new tech. with her Seal.

But we already saw panels of Naruto and Sasuke starting to wake up, and the one with Naruto shows that no hand is inside him anymore. So my guess is that while Obito inserted dark Kurama into Naruto that Sakura patched him up.

I don't see why everyone is such in a tizzy over Kaguya having Byakugan..I mean even if she does it's not going to make Hinata anymore relevant. it may not even had relevance because it's all about Sharigan. Plus, doesn't this make Hinata a descendant of Kaguya? That means NH cannot happen since she would be related to Naruto -GIGGLES-.

The Uzumaki gene in the works. Hagoromo surely passed that gene into Ashura who then passed it to the descendants who would create the Uzumaki clan while his other descendants that got different genes create the Senju clan.
