Yeah, Naruto has had more people inside him watching his every move: Minato, Kushina, Kurama, and now the Sot6P. Underdog, I think not.
It begs the question, is Sakura a 'chosen one' as well? Is she a reincarnation and that's why Naruto is so immoveably attracted to her?
And is Sasuke reincarnated or just a parallel?
(And seriously, Kishimoto's plot devices are more like a Hall of Mirrors. At some point, all the parallels loose their thrill and you just want to find the way out.)
Anyway, while using reincarnation is an easy character twist, it always leaves me wondering about the rules: Does it apply to everyone else, or just the hero? Are they doomed to fight someone elses's battles endlessly through time?
Interesting about the mom, the rabbit goddess. Hopefully that will go somewhere. Kishimoto has a bad habit of writing powerful women, but fails to give them active roles in the story. Would really like to see more about her.
Anyway, any chapter focused on Naruto is a good chapter. Wouldn't say it's the best, but definitely interesting and a nice change of pace from war stuff or secondary character flashbacks.
Oh, and I know it's for comedic effect, but everytime Naruto comes out acting stupid, I just think, "This is the guy who's supposed to unite the ninja world? He's supposed to be kage?" It just seems like he needs another timeskip or something. (And then other times he seems totally mature. *shrugs*)
