I hope Kishi doesn't have the entire Alliance (including the Kage + Hokage) just basically do nothing. They should have a strategy... It shouldn't be too hard to defeat Madara now, honestly. Unless he's got something really cool that I forgot.

I know. The point he does it and fail, only to get himself killed or badly injured. Unless he plays smart because last time he did that, he just took the hit.

It's really hard to say, but if I had to take a guess I'd think Madara will probably try to finish up what Obito failed to do. Then most likely he'll be defeated by either Naruto and Hashirama.

Nothing particularly surprising or unexpected in this chapter, Madara has been revived, what a plot twist!  I still can't feel sympathy for Obito, seriously, he's a coward and that whole thing about living and atoning for what he's done being the easy way is just please, at least he acknowledged that he is not worthy of Rin. I'm glad that Madara stopped the Rinne Tensei though, I don't want to see anymore people being revived, just enough.

Funny how we have to thank Madara for almost making us see everyone revived. It's like Neji is with King Kai waiting for revival, only to get denied.

I believe its just a way to extent the manga a little longer i dont see purpose on the bijuu's being sealed over again.

I got disappointed on this chapter simply because i wanted this war to end and then we move on to what we are all expecting for Naruto vs Sasuke.

about Neji i want to see if the Gedo Rinne Tensei can ressurrect people even if they body doesnt exist anymore, the place where his body was, suffered from the Juubi's Jutsu and later 4 bijuu damas.

Now that Madara is alive he has less advantages so I think he'll be more careful in battle and focus more on how to become the new jinchuriki of the Juubi so that he can complete the Moon's eye plan in his own way.

 

You need to be alive to be the jinchuriki of the juubi so that's why Madara was aiming to be revived, not to mention that it's clear he was hating being a zombie.

Yes plus he was about to lose to seal, so in this case, you do a sacrifice to gain a huge advantage. Certainly it's not being alive and that's all, so there must be more. I know it's an editor's note, but the last line from them does indicate bad things have arrived. Unless Naruto plays John Cena theme song and just squash him, there's going to be hell.

Not going to lie but I have thought that and I hope he only get pushed hard enough to get hurt bad. I don't know what benefits his death would have but I tried to think this a lot so it can be negated altogether. Heck, I kept thinking of Madara going to lose here and revival from Obito to everyone, but booya, it negated. So I'm going to do this for Sai.

It's not a funny feeling, it's inevitable.

Life is so much easier for the author if he dies on his own (or via a villain). Then Naruto doesn't have to own up to his own choice.

He doesn't have to worry about "what next" is Obito bites it.

 

And it's boring way to go out now. So easy to kill the character off than it is to give them life and see what ways they can actually redeem other than self-sacrifice or something. It worked with Nagato, but if every villain did it...well you said so yourself a few times: "Tired of the magic reset button."

Again, this makes me concerned with Sasuke's plot and how it's going to end. Chances are highly likely that he is just going to walk away like people have suggested and not be expected to pay up for his crimes. Death and banishment have become such a lenient punishment in this manga that it feels like no villain is punished for their crimes.

Oh probably Madara has some spontaneous plan that beats everyone's plans out and managed to beat everyone and everything even though he is humorously outnumbered.

Actually, what would be funny is if Obito got the Darth Vadar ending now...where he alone takes Madara out and self-sacrifices and Naruto be like "I got to save you" and he replies with a "You already have." It would have been nice to have Sasuke have this one, but why not let's give it to Obito.

 

If he is going to die, might as well spice it up a bit than just self-righteous suicides.

I was just thinking about some stuff and thought it would be really cool if Sakura had the ability to make chakra shields. And she protects the alliance from one of Madara's giant Katons. It would obviously take alot of chakra, but Sakura is already known to be an amazing support in battle so why not.

I don't know about boring, but it's incredibly cheap.

 

The core problem is not about killing or giving life. The problem is removing the character in ways that allow Naruto to avoid having to defend his choice. As far as the manga goes, that, above all else is what I want. Naruto never has to decide what next nor deal with any the consequences for letting them live. 

 

Kishimoto obviously thinks letting him live is the more moral thing to do, but rather than taking it's most damning problem head on, he pretends it doesn't exist. Is there anyone who think that the best or more persuasive way to deal with a legitimate counter arguments is to pretend they don't exist? That's basically what he's doing,

 

it's total bull to take that stance and then cheat his way past the obvious problems with ass pulls and Deus Ex Machina.

Death is cheap in this series, but yeah, you should expect that. It's not an accident that Sasuke's steered away from doing things that the main cast can't overlook. Although, with the Karin getting over an attempted murder in 15 seconds, there probably isn't an atrocity the this cast can't ignore.
