(And the Senju symbol is a Vajra from Buddhism/Hinduism which symbolizes thunderbold (irristable force) and diamonds (indestructability)...of course the seal is based off of Uzumaki techniques but now the chosen shape makes sense...the indestructability of a diamonds --->the accelorated healing when the diamond is released--again related to China and South Asia! I know I'm reading too much into this, I just hadn't realized that the Senjy symbol is a Vajra.).

 

Oh man, hopefully Kishimoto doesn't disappoint us Chatte.

Anyway now with the whole thing, I am even more sure that Hashi's SM is Mokuton ninjutsu and Sakura could get a SM herself...

^Yep, they say we want Sasuke or Hinata to die for NS the happen.. like they are a thread or a plauge or something similar  , but its so illogical since we don't. The cohesiveness of chapters Kishi has laid out its so obvious that Sasuke's gonna flat-out and back stab the good guys so to say .Hinata .. well.. she is kind of done . Why does the ball always bounce to NS ?

Sakura is strong enough to take care of herself and the alliance , she is also the one who can hurt obito i can't help it but i have a feeling that a strong SN moment is coming .

I think we all want to see what happens next immeditatly but sakura should be fine, she is injured but alive, considering the attack stopped and she has the chakra mantle still and katstyu and should have other shinobi by here. Sakura is hurt but otherwise alive, she will be fine. Don't why people would suddenly be shocked by this, right now she is down but not dead though she has stuff like katstyu to remain alive and a lot of importance to the plot. She will be fine, she will bounce back.

I'm not at all worried about Sakura's safety, it's extremely, extremely unlikely that Kishimoto will kill his heroine (and essentially have Naruto fail just like Obito and Minato, it's just not that kind of manga), I'm just worried that Sakura won't get her moment to save herself and/her boys I want her to be given substantial active moments.

Unless current shinobi are all descendents of people/families who were disciples of RS.  He could have transfered chakra to his students (assuming he did travel and teach Ninshu as Jiraiya said).

 

As extreme as it sounds that might very well be it. Who knows how many generations could have existed between Hagoromo's death and the current period. It still leaves several untold questions though like how humanity was able to survive prior to inheriting chakra. Chakra is the essence that maintains a person's life. Once their supply runs out they die. This gives me a theory. Every human originally had the capacity to formulate chakra inside of themselves. Similar to the Sharingan, they would need to activate this biological reaction inside of themselves that allows them to mould the energy of their bodies with their spirits. The Jubi's fruit when eaten acted like an artificial stimulant  that allowed Kaguya to acquire this innate ability. However, through the Sage's teachings man was taught the method to personally achieve this effect without the need of the fruit.

Whoaa! Massive amounts of plot development coming right our way! So many things to think about....................

 

Juubi final form is a tree. Woudn't have seen this coming in a millenium. As others have mentioned, it is possibly derivative of some religion but not necessarily Christianism. I believe it's more likely to be something related to Japan's culture as it's Kishi home country after all. Nonetheless, I've never imagined he would draw such card but I like it.

 

More fodder deaths, yay! A mythological creature that was supposed to be capable of splitting apart entire countries needs to be seen destroying things and killing stuff. I had this impression the Juubi was being too much passive lately and the heroes were having too much glory and owning time. The latest discussions were starting to be centered around Naruto x Sasuke only, as if the the Juubi had already been defeated and the war was about to be over. But now... wow! The Juubi is literally sucking their life force into it and people are dying. Now things really started to get dangerous again, for everyone alive at least.

 

The sage was given a name, so was his mother, a princess who ate a forbidden fruit and gained the mystical power known as chakra.... ok. The problem is I thought chakra was something that you had to mould inside you, not something you had to be born with. Anyway if that's really the case then Kishimoto is implying everyone is somehow descendant from this person. How is that possible?

 

And Madara, I keep wondering what the hell is this guy thinking. He wants to be the one who activates the Eternal Tsukuyomi, but how is he going to do that...

 

Hiruzen! Yeah, I thought you were dead man! I mean, you are dead but, nah you got what I mean!

Finally some screen time for the dead old man, it's kind a nice to see him back.

 

About Naruto and Sakura, what can I say. I hope they are fine, but unfortunately they seem to be very exhausted.

but why is naruto hostile to sasuke? when he got saved by hiruzen.

 

Naruto isn't looking at Sasuke. When he was brought back by Hiruzen his face was turned at Sasuke's opposite direction, he was looking at the dead Ninjas on the battlefield, that's why he was so angry.

Well, this is turning out to be something else. It's getting crazier and finally, third is back. The explanation, I called it in my latest review. Lol. Final form, huh. This does make sense on why Madara seek so hard for this power. That said it appears the next chapter will be Obito vs. Madara because the moon eye plan is like in 90% and Madara claims it will be his. Time to see that final trump card and hurry, because Obito is about to have his world.

 

Naruto is hurt and now, the things are really hopeless. I really like this chapter for many things. One is that the sense of loss, Naruto tried so hard to get up there and stop, but the God tree was too much. Now, he's exhausted. The idea of absorption from the tree is scary and crazy that it left many drained, probably dead even, while others are hurt and feel sense of loss. Sakura is hurt, but not fully out. Nice to have that acknowledge because it shows the sense of priority from Kishi and Naruto since he was watching them. He sees people drained/dead, people loss of hope/exhaustion, Sakura being hurt, and Killer Bee being exhausted. Is this truly over?

 

The next chapter is going to be one hell of a chapter because it's left with the sense of loss, but is it really over? Soon, we will know. Madara is pretty much the final hurdle since he wants the plan and we'll see how Obito and Madara handle it. Don't know if physically combat will be involved but this one is all or nothing for Madara now. Either live in your world or be enslaved in another. Now the main question in our head is the heroes are done for? I don't know and something twisty will happen. The plan is almost complete, so we will soon know what is the next step after the next chapter.

 

Now, the idea is this can go to FMA route and actually, it's looking like one. That said will it happen immediately? I don't want to spoil but I have to address it so if you don't want to read, then stop right here. Ok, in FMA, the world has ended once for a short while, which I thought that was the craziest chapter. That said in FMA, there was an ultimate reverse which, while the main villain was still god-like, have everyone's souls return. So my question is that will it happen again here and by that, I mean immediately, not like many chapters later. If so, well, now it's the time before it's all over. I must say if it does happen, it's strange that Gokages didn't show up as well as Orochimaru and others. I wonder if this plan is really going through. That or I guess others are really going with Obito's world. Strange. But next chapter should be intense and I can't wait.

For the record, isn't it surprising that Kishi really makes female character the one who changed the course of the world as if to say, "Look, I didn't do much for them, but you got to admit, I do make them into one hell of a character without showing it."

Because he's doing nothing, he's not helping.

So much for that preview – the only thing Sasuke did was somehow avoid getting his chakra sucked up by the tree.  Was Obito controlling the tree?  Otherwise I don’t see how else Sasuke could have avoided the tree – along with Juugo – except for plot no jutsu.

 

I'm glad that we got to see a glimpse of Sakura at the end of the chapter though - hopefully that means that she's going to become relevant soon.  I'm sure, as most everyone here, that she'll be fine.

 

I guess I liked the chapter, but it seemed a bit abrupt that Naruto just discovered a new power in the previous chapter, and before he even gets to use it, he pretty much looses all of his chakra?  I mean, what the was even the point of showing it then? 

 

The pacing recently has been driving me nuts.

 

I do like the possibilities this chapter left off with though.

Uh, Naruto wasn't hostle to Sasuke... His head was directed on the opposite side of Sasuke... he was got mad because the alliance was down...

Shinju is from 神樹

神 means "God"

樹 means "Tree/Wood"

 

It means simply God Tree.

I don't understand why Kishimoto had to blend two mythologies together to make another origin story. I've seen comparisons between Persephone and Eve, Eurydice and Izanami, or Kaguya and Chang-e, but this Kaguya/ Eve hybrid just struck me as odd.

This is a good opportunity for Sasuke to get a huge power-up. Sasuke has also read the Uchia tablet, so he probably knows about the Forbidden Fruit.
