I understand both sides on this one. Anime characters getting hit and then bleeding it not really that bad and at times has been used in comical purposes. Vash from Trigun bleed several times from comedic hits and even commented on such things. So Yeah, some might be a little over analyzing it. Perchance the pairing wars has gone to our heads and people have become paranoid. Any mistake on kishi to show a negative aspect and people jump on it really fast. This scene? NH and SS fans: "Oh look, Naruto is bleeding. Total abuse. Naruto should get with Hinata."

However, I do know what the other side is talking about. See, withTrigun even though Vash bleed and it was for comedy, it was consistent. So it wasn't like there was a moment where he get hit and has no injury bleeding. Problem is, when Sakura hit Naruto in the past none of the wounds bleed. So we know that this is the conformity and if it was a serious wound, he would really bleed. Now here we have a comedic scene where Naruto bleeds from it and it kind of sends the wrong message. Again, look at the other times Sakura has hit Naruto and Naruto wasn't bleeding from it.
 

Me? I favor more for the comedic, but the pairing wars drama has pushed people over the edge a lot. NS, NH, and SS fans alike are willing to pick anything apart to have their say.

For the record, he has bleed when he first return to Konoha and part 1. I think Kishi tried to throwback to chapter 3 when he got owned, but perhaps the use of blood is a little too much. What saved it is Sakura's comedy face before the beat down. If it wasn't there, people would find it hard to think it's comedy or not.

This is not what Sakura does with Naruto, his eyes suggests he also got punched and there's blood coming out from his mouth and his injury on his head, and the usual nose bleeding.

It wasnt just a common hit that Sakura does with Naruto but she pratically went with the intention of killing him, it was supposed to be a Naruto and Sakura playing and we got a typical tsundere scene on a typical comedy moment, but it was overdone and abusive.

 

Sidenote: for the 5th time  i know it's for comic relief.

You know, Dark, I am really getting tired that even when I agree with you you try your very hardest to oppose me. Every single time when the few moments when I actually agree, you have to pick out some little detail in my post to blow it out of proportion to the point of being completely paranoid. "No, no, no, nothing like that" you always say so matter-of-fact-ly like everything you say is correct and everything I say is just wrong even though you were the one that took it wrong. Why do I even bother anymore?

If it sounds like I am pissed off, I am. I am not in a good mood because all this week I have had my opinion picked apart and called biased by real biased people, hypocrites who think only their opinions matter, people who criticize me when even they have no idea what they are talking about, and other people who are so confrontational that they just jump at every little detail like you are doing right now. So forgive me for my lack of patience.

 

Plus, I have been really sick the past three days.

Not from the nose, mouth, head, and possibly even eyes like every internal organ was ruptured. That's a little overkill in terms of detail. One blood rip from the head is okay, but bleeding from all orifices? Even when he got thrashed in the manga it didn't look that bad.

Well... the fact is that you spoke about pairings, i understand you agreed with me, but my point had nothing to do with NH and SS viewing the scene and saying "look how Sakura is abusive".

The fact is that her being abusive for me on my post has nothing to do with them, i felt really bad just looking at the picture and i dont care about NH or SS and the way they are thinking.

But the whole abuse thing for me has nothing to do with other fandom reaction, that  was the part i disagree with.

 

The problem is how i expressed, the way i replied wasnt meant to disagree with everything you've said and my post adressed when you spoke about the blood and that's all.
If you're pissed off then i'm sorry but that was my opinion, i just wanted to avoid talking about pairings because my focus was on Sakura only.

I appreciate that you try to lighted up the mood  darkness  , However i am also pretty upset that kishi again has to portray sakura in a questionable matter  i mean recently he had in a nice team 7 cover instead of neglecting her like in the war arc , but when he draws a picture sakura hitting naruto till the point where blooding is gushing from his mouth and head it reminds of the way how the anime portrays her and isn't this something that bothers kishi? same goes for the harsh comment he got from her about the confession? kishi always does something opposite  whenever it comes to sakura and her status by now he should have learned something from it.

I don't know. According to Rikuodu, people in comment section didn't think the way we think now. I guess Japan and others are really different. Ok, not that much but different strokes different folks, maybe?

Despite this topic having fooled us, the "next big event" is most likely going to be the turn of the tide in this battle, a new power, Madara's hidden weapon,  Obito somehow being impacted Rin related by a talk no jutsu, or the tailed beasts manage to resurge and trigger something Obito cannot control.

 

As for the picture, yeah its funny but is is actually a real one or just fan made? Either way Sakura having beat up Naruto well its just humor. Naruto is made to be a goofball and gets pummeled by many other.

I don't think there's a problem in exaggerating a tsundere in her hitting... She's tsundere. So, no matter how hard she punches, its just for comic relief. Plus, what others think, we know it's not right to think that way.

Ok i didn't mean to take the conversation to far with stuff thats happening on the tumblr tag and hatred going on the ns blogs made me pretty cynical lately. so tsudere is tsudere and i forgot that tsunade also broke jiraiya's ribs once in the manga.

I really don't care for the picture. And I know the comic purposes and stuff BUT:

 

It would've been better if Kishimoto drew the watermelon next to Sasuke and Naruto hits them both at the same time (bringing the result of the "avoid hitting the pretty bad boy" rule during comical situation out the door) and then Sakura did her tsundere-attack on Naruto. (Though I will avoid the overexaggeration of the blood, it would've been better with a little a bit of blood).
