Seriously folks, I am still surprised and amazed just how raw the emotion that poured out from that fake smile panel. Amazing delivery from Kishi.

Oh man. This chapter hit so many points that I wanted hit. 

 

I think Sai's interpretation of Sakura's response was a little odd. I don't know though. I did not look at the raws, so it could be a translation thing. I've reread several times and I think that he meant that her words were what she sincerely WANTS to feel, but she doesn't feel this way and that's what's making her sad. To extrapolate a little, I think that she feels that she cannot forgive Sasuke like Naruto apparently can. She may also feel as if she has put a burden on Naruto with the promise of a lifetime for no reason. Anyway, I love that Kishi is no longer sidelining her feelings.

 

 

I interpreted it as Sai telling the audience that Sakura is outright lying. She isn't happy to see him and she doesn't trust him. The question now is WHY is Sakura lying?

Is she planning something?

Is she trying to show the side people would expect for some reason?

Is she try to not distract/upset Naruto?

Nope. Volume... Half a volume? LOL. I'm not sure, but I expect it will take up a lot of time. There's no doubt that Kishimoto is going to delve into the deep, dark corners of Team Minato, bring up more about Rin, go over what Obito's goal really is, throw in a few fight scenes, and wrap it up with Obito's redemption. I don't see how all of this can be achieved in just one chapter. It's not a bad thing, though. I'm really interested in how Team Minato's story is going to end.

I'm just so happy to see Team 7 being fractured again. That sounds weird, but I am. 

 

And I'm also ecstatic to see the Kage up and running again! I really do like them. Tsunade will see the progress of her student, and maybe even fight together—and, who knows, maybe they'll have a deep conversation along the way? And—Gaara. 

 

Oh God Karin, am I the only one bothered by what she said ? Is Kishimoto even serious ? And what's the point of Suigetsu ? He doesn't serve any purposes.
I knew Oro's redemption was coming but I still can't get over the way it's done, part 1 Oro is long dead.
And please Naruto don't let Sasuke do as he pleases, show some dignity and oppose him for real.
Don't really have much more to say about the chapter, disappointing chapter.

This tbh. It kinda seems like Orochimaru was brought back just to have a somewhat "believable" way to revive the past Hokage and save Tsunade. The entire team of Taka is just... there. They don't really have a purpose. I love Suigetsu tho so I'm okay with him.

And yes yes yes about Naruto. That's enough of forgiving Sasuke. You didn't truly oppose him when he tried to kill the girl you love and your sensei, will you FINALLY oppose him when he tries to destroy the Bijuu, who your friends with? Pleaseeee.

 

@Atheck Yeah, it's great to see the Shikkotsu Forest being confirmed as the home of the slugs. I think that was kind of unnecessary, to mention the Forest, so I feel that Kishi is reminding us of it and the possibility of Slug Sage Mode...

Don't take this as a serious note from me, but one part of me made me said she is fake smiling because it felt like Naruto forced Sakura to keep believing Team 7 can be together again and when it happened, it's like, "Oh....hehe, great. Yay...."

 

I know that's not the case but I really feel bad that she is forcing herself to be happy but really, it only hurts her. Now, Naruto is getting the feeling of Sasuke's behavior, which will begin to piss him off because his tactic is too extreme. Sadly, no one knows this yet. Hashirama probably knows that Bijuus are just normal, not truly weapons. Things are really becoming complex. So yeah, I wonder if Sai will push it further, because now it's time to drop it and begin to become a complete strong woman.

I used to love this manga. But it really has become a convoluted story that offers nothing to characters anymore. Orochimaru changing? That's sooo stupid.

Do you think that Obito might become good again? I know he can't redeem himself, anymore. But I kinda expect him to go against Madara.

That makes sense, I honestly think Sakura was ready to give up on a happy ending for team 7 back at the kage summit arc but Naruto's words are what kept her believing that it could actually happen.

 

She finally gets team 7 working together and with Sasuke the way he is things probably aren't what she expected when she used to think of team 7 being back together again. I think she is ready to finally accept that Sasuke really is not the same guy that she remembers, whether he is on their side or not.

Hey i gotta admit that I actually laughed pretty good when Orochimaru did that snake thingy to try and scare Suigetsu and Karin haha, Orochimaru has always been a character I actually liked.

I loved this Chapter, the Humor was good, the action was good, there is a good chance we just saw a major blow to SS and best of all we got to see Jiraiya, (I really wish he could've been revived by Pain's Rinne Tensai )

 

 

You know, now this means Kakashi has killed BOTH of his teamates with a Chidori through the chest. That is assuming Obito will die form it, sure seems like he will, Kakashi as well. If Kakashi doesn't get out of the world/dimension whatever it's called place then he will definitely die.

 

No technically (if this isn't a Genjutsu) he killed Obito with Raikiri (Lighting Blade) not Chidori

 

Am I the only one around here that believes Kakashi is just in a genjutsu and therefore is not actually piercing/being pierced by Obito with a Chidori?

 

I'm not sure I'd say it's 50-50

 

Its not stated anywhere Obito is any good with genjustu so I think Kakashi would  see through anything Obito put out, unless obito used Izanagi.

 

Yeah "some" genjustu but its prob not strong and its something kakashi can see, the only genjustu he has shown to know is Izanagi, he hasnt been shown to know Tsukuyomi.

Obito was saying that he should just become the Jubi's Jinchuriki so that he could activate the Moon's Eye Plan meaning he must know how to use Tsukuyomi as it is a prerequisite for the job.

He died, I am pretty sure that changes people, and its not like he randomly changed but there is a giant reason he did.

That is basically what I meant, chidori, raikiri, both are lightning attacks that are extremely similar so I stopped caring about which is which.

I really wonder if this is where SS truly goes bye bye because Sai seems to test her with the idea of him being back, yet got the answer from a lie, which is sad. They got back together as Team 7, yet just something feels off. Yeah, it's Sasuke, I get it, but you know, I don't even know if Naruto knows anything about Sasuke yet. I feel like more and more Sasuke is proving himself to be incredibly aggressive and selfish. First the wrong idea of being Hokage and now eliminating anyone who is bad to the ninja system. That's not right at all.

maybe but I have seen worse in other manga so it doesn't bother me as much
