Didn't Tobirama got struggle by his own move? If anything, I can see Hashirama to be the only one to roam freely, but other Hokages can be against him. Remember how Kabuto made Zabuza and Haku into cold blood killers from deep? Well, Orochimaru can do it without letting them know, and since Orochimaru may know he can't do it on Hashirama, he won't bother to do it and caught him off-guard that others are losing their control.

Perhaps, but given the fact that Madara seems to know more about the technique despite no real reason why he would know, why couldn't Tobirama do the same? This is one thing I find so startling where the creator of the technique barely knows anything about the technique, but people who are outside the know seem to know everything about.

Why are all villains granted with all this infinite knowledge, but the good guys know nothing? Can't we have like one smart hero for once? A hero who knows the ins and outs of things like Madara can.

 

Ok, I feel like I'm close to convinced that Sasuke is turning heel. The more I read it, the more I see why this chapter was created this way. When Naruto flashbacked that talk with Yamato, I feel like Kishi did it because this is the last time we will see them as a team, but now....well, it's time to see the truth.

And you are surprised by this? We knew Sasuke needed to turn heel in order for the Naruto and Sasuke fight to occur. The only question I had was "when?"

You know, if the burn it down idea is really about burning wood and Sasuke actually say thank you to Naruto for making it work, I got to admit, that will be a badass thing to do and say from Sasuke.

What if Naruto becomes the Sage of the six Paths and Sasuke the host of the Juubi.

I’m actually 70% this will happen. Oh God Kishi.. now that’s an epic battle right there.

Is it possible for Sasuke to get a hold on Juubi? Definitely yes. And for Orochimaru to hurt Tsunade or make her a hostage? Whae not? This chapter and the last pages give me chills.

 

 

Hm, it seems like 540 may play soon, especially if Sasuke truly goes his way to be heel. Oh man, this is scary.

 

 

 

What on Earth is the Alliance going to do if that really is the case? They'll have the Juubi on the loose, ready to release it's final transformation, and Orochimaru has control of all the Edo-Hokages except for Hashirama who will be stuck dealing with Madara. (Side note: The reason why he's visiting Tsunade right now is probably to pick up the last Hokage to add to his collection....)

 

He's letting the roam freely for now, but I expect the cliffhanger of this volume is going to be Sasuke with the Juubi, Taka, Orochimaru, and an Edo-Hokage army standing behind him...

 

If Minato is controlled by Orochimaru with Naruto right there...

I think, burn it down, is related to the wooden pillars holding the juubi. he's going to become the 10 tails jinjurikki.

 

At this stage naruto will step up and become the sot6p maybe with a talk with the origional sot6p? much like when he went 8 tails in pain arc and Mianto talked to him?

I think it was also to emphasize a possible weakness in Naruto to Sasuke. His Rasengan/wind chakra might just power-up Sasuke's Amaterasu.

I wonder if Madara will some how override Orochimaru just so he can fight Hashirama. He may be able to do something against him.

We can also not forget that Tobirama is the maker of the jutsu and possibly can override it as well. He could also maybe override the others just the same.

Just throwing those out there.

somehow I had a thought that hashirama would want to let Sasuke become hokage as a form of redemption for what happened and opose Naruto. Then Madara swoops in and says he will help Naruto just so he can fight Hashirama. Naruto with Madara vs. Sasuke with Hashirama. But it's just crazy talk.

Where exactly is Madara in all of this? Is he still just loafing about as one of the two critical components to his objectives is being incinerated before his eyes? Even if he's incapable of executing the genjutsu or sealing the Jubi inside of himself the fact that it has been expending such large amounts of chakra for so long must be a concern. What exactly is going to prevent Sasuke from attempting to assume control of the Jubi for his own ulterior purposes?

 

Keep in mind that Tobi's original intention was to synchronise Gedo Mazo with him (presumably it's the same procedure that Nagato, Tobi, and Madara underwent to control it). If Sasuke is aware on how to manipulate it then he could potentially become a very dangerous threat to everyone on that battlefield. Or perhaps his motivations involve favouring Madara in order to bring about the illusion world where he is automatically designated as the Hokage. It is one possible method that he could use to forcefully acquire the position. That is if he is even concerned with acquiring it in the first place.

Ok, I think I will review this week chapter, so heads up in hopefully today. It's already late here. But here's my assumption on Sakura. Sakura could be crying that the war is finally over or the most crucial enemy is done for. BUT! When Sasuke said it like that and Sai questioned Juugo about his real goal, Sakura no longer cries, because she may believe now that not all good thing stays forever (Team 7 reunion) and to me, I believe Sakura saw the true Sasuke. The one Naruto hope not to see again. Hm, do red wedding!!! You already got Sakura being heavily suspicious like the song, only not song but his attitude. DO IT!!!!

I'm not so sure Tsunade is dead. The slug spoke as if she was still around. Not past tense. 

 

The last look Sakura gave doesn't look sad at all. She looks focused. Like she's ready for anything Sasuke might pull. Like the others said, it seems she might have over heard Sai's conversation. We might be getting a recall to the last time she attacked Sasuke. From the looks of things, we will get a different outcome should the event come to pass (:

This may very well happen. Sasuke wanting to host the Juubi is not far from his thinking.

Well, now I feel like the Alliance is doomed... That is, until Naruto receives the Kyuubi power that Minato has, because we all know it's going to happen. Either right before Orochimaru takes control of them or after Naruto defeats his dad.... New power-up, anyone?

 

Though I don't know how good that will do against the Ten-Tails, Four Edo-Hokages, Taka, Orochimaru, Madara, and Sasuke. Not that he'll have to face them by himself, but still...

 

Also, I smell a new Team Seven moment slowly approaching. Naruto, Sakura, and Sai.

 

(Hopefully Yamato and Kakashi too - it's just not the same without them.)

I personally don't think the "burn it down" is related to the Wood considering the Ten Tails is pretty much an "it". Also, I'm sure if this is the case, someone's gonna take note of it for sure. The fire will have to spread to his tails also before I even consider this a big option. If things go sour, then I could see Orochimaru trying to get Tsunade to push Sasuke toward Hokage status but I think she's likely already healed the Kages and the Kages simply won't stand aside while this guy does what he wants unless he has some sort of plan...

Not really, but like an audience or the way story wants you to react, I'm acting like one. In order words, it's going to suck to see them apart once again, only in the grand stage. I guess I am getting close to being right. "We die together" is not being let go by Kishi and....I'm happy because now, Sakura and Naruto are definitely going to talk and it's going to be a heavy drama one since while Sakura is strong, I can see Naruto telling her that she must back away because this is very personal and she will respect that. Oh man, the future is looking crazy.

Madara is just waiting to fight the real Hashirama. The battle is still on and is somewhat far from being over cause we have yet Madara and Obito and, if, the Juubi isn't out of the way. Not to mention what Orochimaru has up his sleeves regarding Tsunade.
