I totally understand where you're coming from. It would aggravate the hell out of me too if I lost something that big for no reason whatsoever. The best thing to do, I guess, is to just save long posts like that to your hard drive in some way. In case something like this happens.

Well, I don't believe anyone deleted it. The mods simply don't do that.

So...maybe if you had the window open for three hours there was a problem in posting.

Did it ever post to the page? Because for someone to delete your post it actually has to show up in the thread. If it didn't ever show, then something may have gone wrong in the window itself.

Since you previewed it, could there be another copy lurking in your browser history? Maybe you could still retrieve it.

Yep. That's exactly what I do. Comment fields are notoriously weird. So if it's something I've invested time in, I always copy it somewhere else until it posts successfully.

I dont know if it will work with you because it worked with me, when you do a post or a preview something changes on your url.
When you write or hit the preview button your message is recorded until you restart your browser so try looking at your history and look for the exact link when you had when you posted that it works with me all the time.

I am a staunch NaruSaku supporter, and will often debate with other people over at NarutoBase in support of this pairing (and Sakura herself). I just want to get other people's opinions.

Although most of the "arguments" given by NaruHina fans are easily countered and horribly biased at best, the following reasons are some of the few that actually made me think.
For a couple of these, I already have responses floating around in my head, but I really would like to get a good idea of what you guys think and how you would respond so that I can better reinforce my perspective in the future.

1) Hinata's Interference during the Pain fight
Us NaruSaku fans like to argue that Hinata's attempted "rescue" of Naruto was a selfish and pointless act- that it did nothing but cause further distress for Naruto and show just how little Hinata truly understands his desires.
A different point of view, however:

there is nothing to argue. Hinata doesn't know Naruto. She panicked and jumped. Really what else is it that you don't understand. Seriously. It's not a pairing argument.
Here is a question: Why didn't Hinata have faith in Naruto?

Do you not think that the fight had gone beyond the point of interference? He was pinned and unable to move, and moments from being... captured/killed/unsure-but-bad-things. Hinata admitted, largely, to being selfish (because she knew she would be unlikely to be able to save him).
Naruto had, seemingly, already given in to the idea that he would end up being captured

Naruto had, seemingly, already given in to the idea that he would end up being captured - but still have largely succeeded in protecting his friends (assuming Pain simply left). It was also implied that he was at the limits of his Nindo (without relying on the fox and endangering his friends).
Hinata's Nindo overlapped and conflicted somewhat with his. Naruto's desire to not have his friends interfere was ultimately a desire for the same thing that was about to happen in chapter 615. Hinata was not about to give up on herself, or on Naruto - and decided that it was time to act regardless of the odds and consequences be damned. ~Aim64C of NB

Naruto has shown great ability under duress and a great strategist because of it. This is why I hate you NH shippers and why I don't think you have a leg to stand on other than "Well its's a story so any kitten can happen", yeah but IT'S UNLIKELY.
Naruto's nindo limited? Really what is his nindo? Please explain it step by step to me as if I skipped mega chapters and created my own...fanfiction.

Just an fyi, friends — mods are definitely watching this thread and discussing it. Any bashing will get an automatic closure. But things seem to be okay so far....

Mods have made it clear they'll close it, please edit the post. Even if I don't want to play mod or something, I hate to ignore it when someone say such things to another.

here is the deal: Sakura already decided. She made a choice and his name is Naruto. Hinata and all of her recent actions is the conclusion of part 1 Hyuugas In house conflict. You know how I know? Read part 1.
This time part 2 or rather 615 included the dad, Hinata, and Neji a huge comparison to part 1 and Neji questioning his father's choice on how he would die. So i take it as a conclusion.
And just so that your should know OP, Naruto just simply thanked Hinata in 615 and Neji.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the person who posted here or the NH shipper that had made this argument, but either way you may have gone a little over board with "I hate you NH shippers". Considering that this forum is open to those shippers, it is a little rude and, uh, bashy? (I know it's not a word, but you get it).

He or she has stated multiple times that they are a NaruSaku shipper, but you flat out said that you were going to target them as a NaruHina shipper. First off, you shouldn't target anyone on this site. Respond to their arguments; don't "target" the person posting the information. You made it sound like you were about to attack them for what they had to say, and those arguments weren't even their own! They were originally posted by NaruHina fans on other Naruto websites. Baguette shared them to see what we thought about it. Secondly, don't act like it's a bad thing for someone to support NaruHina. We're supposed to be welcoming to all fandoms on this site, not ready to pounce on them as soon as they enter the room.

About a month ago on that site, I debated against a NaruHina fan in a 3-day long discussion in which fellow NaruSaku member Chatte herself eventually got involved in. While I had the ulterior motive of practicing my debate skills (I am, admittedly, a mere sophomore in high school), do you honestly think I would have spent such a large amount of time arguing for this pairing in some random thread if I didn't support it?

Midoriko, if you can't see what's wrong in declaring that you hate somebody and stereotype them just because they ship another pairing (which Baguette does not), then I don't even know what to say anymore.
