I wonder how Minato will react to Obito. Tobi is Obito...his student who killed his wife and almost his son, controlled the Kyuubi and is insane.

omfg, if they meet of course. Who knows what Oro's gonna do with them after all the questions, they could be quite useful.

I remember now that Tsunade has a mark for Hiraishin in her body... (remember when Genma and other used that for summoning Mei in the battlefleld because Tsunade was there? Minato, if he had to get free from orochimaru's controll, could teleport to her if he sense the mark....

Never underestimate the power of Kishimoto's offpanel-no-jutsu. It simply is the most powerful jutsu in the manga.

So the mask came from the Uzumaki clan mask temple on the outskirts the village? WHAT!!??!!!

uh...so let's see, Naruto grew up in a village believing he was an abandoned child. No one ever mentioned that he had the last name of a clan big enough to have a mask temple? And where the hell are the rest of the Uzumaki? They didn't all die in the kyuubi attack.

And even if you hand-waved all of Naruto's abandonment and accepted that no one ever, ever, ever spoke of his last name...then why didn't the kid find out about it on his own? He was left to his own devices for years. He would certainly have discovered it at some point.

And...there's a dozen or more masks there.... Does that mean that the all correspond to some crazy god?

About Sakura — we may not know where she is, but Naruto does. And he's not freaked/distracted/whatever. So that leads me to think that it's part of Shika's dad's plan.

And yeah, she probably is with Tsunade — since this chapter focused on dead Hokages, she's probably with the still-living ones.

I think it's going to be a while before we see Sakura, though, and that's why we got a nice color spread. To remind readers that she hadn't been Ten-Ten-ed.

If I had to guess based on what Orochimaru said, about the "ones who know it all," that Tsunade is going to have some new/key information, simply because she's alive and they have been dead for between 5-35 years. But if Tsunade is dying as well, she's might need to pass some super top-secret to someone — enter Sakura. She is the Hermione Granger of the series. And she has been shown to have off-panel info quite a few times. About Sasuke and Naruto. So I could see where her being with the Kages could be necessary. (Not just a plot device to fight Sasuke again.) Also, she's probably roped in Karin to maximize healing potential...which would also just up the awkwardness of a Sakura-Karin-Sasuke reunion.

Lastly, like the parallel pic of Sasuke looking over the village. Although I wish I felt more genuine something for him as a character, and not just what we are supposed to think because Kishi draw him in these mirrored images. I think maybe Kishimoto wants us to feel sentimental too, or scared for Konoha. I don't know, I just don't.

Also, this is one of those times where I wish it was Naruto sent on the quest of finding the mask from his own clan compound. To be able to see the wonder/disappointment on his face and experience it through his character. Instead, it is just thrown away on Sasuke and delivered to readers as an aside detail. I've lamented this before, and it's still the same here. Sasuke gets a more intricate storyline and plot history, and Naruto simply doesn't. He's good and he struggles and he gets motivational speeches and he wins...but his introspective hero's journey is seriously lacking compared to Sasuke's.

As for the time travelling thing, interesting I suppose. II was going to say it couldn't be be because there were obviously some things he didn't know about, but I suppose if he's only appearing for a short amount of time on specific days, he wouldn't know all the details of everything that happens, therefore he wouldn't know how things are supposed to happen, he just knows they will.

So its possible that he knew Naruto would be a jinchuuriki, but he didn't know it was because his ex-student came and attacked on Naruto's birthday and extracted Kurama from Kushina before he sacrificed himself to do so.

It's possible that he knew Naruto would become very powerful and it involved the seal with Kurama, but he didn't know exactly how it happened other than something to do with the seal he discovered he made himself.

As for Naruto's clan grounds, Kishi should have brought it in so much earlier. How cool would it have been if Naruto stumbled in there and explored the ruined grounds of his own ancestors? I HOPE Kishi let's Naruto go there. It's BS that Sasuke goes there, but Naruto doesn't. It's his own clan grounds! :/

This one chapter just lead to so many mind blowing possibilities.

-Not only for Naruto to meet the past kages and his father again, others could see Minato.

-Sasuke would possibly use Minato as an emotional pawn on Naruto. Maybe even Madara or Obito.

-Harshiama could tangle with Madara

-Harshiama could meet naruto and see how Kurama has been since he took him from Madara.

-Tsunade could see her grandfather again

-Kakashi and Naruto could have a tearful reunion with Minato before he departs.

-Orochimaru could go batsh*t insane and be the unpredictable 3rd faction with his 4 kages.

-Sasuke would question the 3rd about the uchiha clan massacre.

-Minato could tell Sasuke that Obito is using him (Sasuke and co still know him as tobi as they did not see what happened).

Hell there are too many things going on, Minato could tell Kakashi he did a good job and after seeing Naruto and Sakura know that Kakashi did his job as a teacher. Would be funny if they threw in a quick Sakura temper gag and Minato said she reminded her of Kushina (its a longshot but hey whatever happens from here can bring many new interactions).

All i know is, it would be too simple for Orochimaru to just get the info from them and then release them back to the afterlife.

I think what most of us want is for Minato to meet up with Naruto, Sakura, and kakashi, and to see the generations that have followed and continue his ideals. If Minato met Sakura and saw the temper, I wonder what would happen. (Not bound to happen but we need to see).

I'm sorry to say this but this chapter proved to me that Kishi is a moron. I'm tired of his idiotic writing, he establishes one thing only so he can later on say "No what I said before it's completely wrong, this is what really happened or this is the truth". Seriously I'm tired of Kishi telling us something and then later on telling us that what he wrote before means absolutely nothing, it should just be ignored. I’m tired of his ass-pulls. I’m glad that the four kages are back that opens the gate for endless possibilities but the way it was gone it’s a complete ass-pull. It was established that the soul of the one who uses it and the one that’s trapped will be in the belly of the dead demon (or whatever it’s called) for eternity. But in this chapter Kishi told us “No no no what I said before doesn’t really matter, it’s what I’m telling you now that’s what matters.” I’m glad that we will finally learn the real truth behind Konoha, maybe even get a fight between Naruto and his father or Madara against Hashirama or something epic. The problem with this chapter is the way it was done. It made Hiruzen and Minato’s sacrifices pointless. Disappointment.

There are so many emotions i'm going through right now with this chapter. For now the only thing I will say is that kishi better not make minato fall completely under the endo tesie control cause I really want to see the father son conversation between him and naruto

Their sacrifices were to stop the present threat.

Minato and Kushina sacrificed themselves for the village and the future of the world.

3rd sacrificed himself to stop orochimaru, at the then present threat.

Now the village is still standing, I don't think Sasuke, orochimaru, and the rest would go crazy and wreck it while the others are away.

Not really in-vain if what they protected still stands.

Was anyone else pissed off to find that the Uzumaki clan had a shrine on the outskirts of Konoha and not a single person told Naruto about it? Once again it pisses me off that the Hokage screwed up when it came to Naruto, I could accept him being kept in the dark about his parents because of the enemies his father made, but he was given the Uzumaki surname yet kept in the dark about it, he had a heritage not that far from the village he had access to, did the third hokage not understand simply knowing that he is the living legacy of something that was once great would have made growing up alone a little bit better? To make things worst the third had no problem using the Uzumaki techniques for himself but didn't seem to pass it on to the rightful heir to those techniques.

The chapter itself wasn't that bad, the four hokages being back is cool. But the part that really intrigues me is that for the first time in 16 years both the Yin and Yang Kyuubi chakra are on the planet sealed in two different beings....I wonder if something will progress from this, will Sasuke seal the Yin chakra inside him, or will Kurama merge with both halfs? Will the Yin chakra also have a form or will it be the charka alone? Or will Minato simply see his so see him happy and having befriended Kurama die and leave the plane of existence?

That's what I want to know, honestly read so much about Uchiha this and Uchiha that in this manga I don't care much for what Sasuke is trying to find out about. though why he needed all four Hokages for that I am interested in.

I didn't think that the scroll just holds how to revive the 4 Kages...I thought it will be a special jutsu or some power up !
From the faces of the Kages, they seem really angry from Sasuke. I want to know what Hasihrama is going to tell Sasuke since he's an Uchiha, as well as Minato since Sasuke is standing in front of Naruto's own father. Not to mention what they're going to say to Orochimaru.

By the way, the villagers didn't notice Sasuke and co. when they were walking between them . Their faces aren't covered. Maybe, they don't know how they look.

For all we know, Root put some kind of cloaking seal on the area, and Orochimaru

The reason I wanted Kishimoto to switch to Sasuke is because I thought, with a smaller cast, he'd write better. But, nope. He still is trying to make Naruto "big and awesome and epic", and as a result this chapter was full of deus ex machina and felt really, really rushed.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but this chapter was possibly even worse than 615.

Agreed let's not forget that probably the temple was kept a secret just like all the secrets that's been kept from the villagers. I'm guessing only the elders and the Hokage knew about the Uzumaki temple, Orochimaru probably found out about it from either Hiruzen or Danzo.

They didnt revive every dead kage, only the ones who got sealed inside the death god.

This chapter triggered a lot of suspense, excitement and a "what happens next"-reaction from me. However, it lacks logic. It doesn't make any sense. It's just yet another asspull. The most interesting thing for me is that I don't care. Whoo..Kishi made me careless, I guess I don't have any high expectations for this series anymore. I don't put as much effort into thinking of predictions and theories like I used to. I can't put my logic into a manga without logic(or too little). It's fun and entertaining nonetheless..that's all.
