I understand from where you're coming from but it's not only the fandom that has this reaction.
Remember that Kishi was asked in interviews what about Sakura and the fact that her acts don't seem so heroine-ish like Hinata's and that Hinata could make a better heroine, bla bla.

Actually, he didn't say Hinata would make a better heroine, only that other people thought she would be better.

Kishimoto: On the contrary.... I felt like depicting an honest girl, with a surprisingly stubborn impression.
So... she became such a character, but... well... from here on, maybe I should draw her showing a bit more spirit.
I figured I had placed her in a heroine-like situation
But from the readers I was told harshly that she wasn’t heroine-ish at all.
Perhaps I should show depict her a bit more like a heroine
Because you say 'Hinata Hinata,' I say 'She’s not Hinata' "

no next week we got chapter they did not make any anouncement that we will have a break next week so it's ok.

I finally found a release schedule and no there will not be a chapter released next week be there will be another released on Saturday but seeing as how it is so close to Christmas it is possible that a translation might take awhile.

I know about this, I was talking about the fandom/readers reaction... but meh, who knows, maybe Kishi has something big planned for Sakura as well, hopefully.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NEJI. WHY?! WHY COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN HINATA?!

Okay jokes aside.

Yeah, Neji's death has basically confirmed my theory on Naruto's obsession. Neji didn't say "take care of Hinata," but pointed out how everyone is trying to fight for his life. To throw his life away for Sasuke is....pointless and every death that occurs in the war would be a waste if Naruto just let Sasuke kill him.

It is almost like everyone from Itachi to Neji are trying to say to him: "Look, we know you want to save Sasuke, but dying doesn't make the world better. Everyone here is fighting for you and even dying for your sake. Don't throw away their sacrifice." This is very important in Naruto's growth. More or less, he basically told Naruto "stop being selfish and pretend it all is up to you."

I think this obsession also means something to Hinata too. Hinata is so willing to die for Naruto that she does stupid things too. She is also obsessed. Neji's death and the fact he said that you can't be obsessed with one thing when the world is so much bigger maybe has an effect on her showing her that while she can still love Naruto, Naruto is not the only thing in her life. After his death, after what she has lost, it is time for her to open her eyes to the world and not just on Naruto.

You know, I was worried that Hinata was getting all this attention, but I realized I was expecting this. I knew Hinata was going to have a focus for a while not for shipping wars, but for her own development. I wouldn't be surprised if Kishi was getting this all out of the way now so that Sakura can have her light to shine. This way it satisfies the NH fans for Hinata getting some time. So yes, let them "have this," but I have a feeling we are going to get our time to shine towards the end. Even in other manga, the other love interests got their time to shine before the main character was like "I'm sorry, but I can't be with you. I love another."

Thinking about it like this, while yes it is crap that Sakura is being pushed aside, but I have a good feeling Sakura will regain focus. No one is closer to Naruto than Sakura is and when the war dies down and the bodies have been buried I know Sakura will be right there for him to comfort him in a way that Hinata can not. Sakura still have demons in her closet too, but those demons cannot be touched upon until Sasuke shows back up in the picture.

If that is what Kishi is doing then let's get it over with. Let the NH fans have their little fun and pretend everything is going their way. I rather keep reading the manga.

Also, I am going to continue to stand by my original prediction with Obito getting redemption through self sacrifice. Obito's resolves is very....shaky. He looks as though he is about to go against Madara and Madara looks like he is about to betray Obito some how. I like the idea someone mentioned (sorry I forgot) of Sakura dying and Obito resurrecting her because Obito sees Rin in her. That is a good idea of a fanfic too.

That would reinforce NaruSaku more especially if Naruto gets super emotional with Sakura's death.

I am going to hold out and say that Obito can still be the good guy we used to know and love. It won't change what he has done, but doesn't mean he couldn't change himself.

I find it somewhat funny that a lot of people within the fandom complained for the longest time that someone important should die in the War arc, and then in the space of two chapters Kishi has left everyone completely shocked with who he has chosen to kill that now some are regretting it. I'm not talking about this forum specifically, I refer to the entirety of the fandom.

It reminds me of how many complained that nobody ever died in One Piece but then in the Marineford arc Ace is killed, and suddenly people regretted that it happened.

Also, why are some of you saying that this chapter was NH? From what I took it was meant to focus on all of the 3 Hyuuga, with special focus on Neji given that he died. Do you guys really believe that in the next chapter Hinata is going to embrace Naruto and kiss him or something? Even if some focus is given to her next chapter, which I actually think would be necessary to show that she's willing to keep on fighting, it will be centered around her self growth not on her feelings for Naruto.

Hinata'll probably feel defeated for a minute or two, Naruto then maybe tells her to stand up and fight, she remembers Neji's last words, Naruto helps her stand up and she grabs his hand (fulfilling what she mentioned way back), and then lets go and focuses on fighting the enemy for Neji's sake. This would culminate Hinata's development establishing that she can keep going with her own strength, which by consequence allows her to stand by Naruto's side and be able to grab his hand.

That makes it not about Hianta's love life, but about her growing strength of character. Then maybe some other people join in (which might include the rookies) and they all stand by Naruto. It's about solidifying that Hinata won't be behind Naruto anymore, she'll fight alongside him like the rest of the alliance.

As for Sakura, I don't know about the rest of you, but I do find it interesting that she's appearing from time to time in each chapter. Those panels of her aren't necessary but Kishi is making them anyway. At the very least it shows that Kishi hasn't forgotten that Sakura is around, and at the most I think it might be done so that people keep her in mind for her possible involvement in future chapters.

Funny, I'm on the opposite side of things. All of the love I used to feel for Tobi is being transferred to Madara.

Well that was me. I wont worrie for NH haplening since i know that in shonen the shy girl almost neber gets the guy and also we have kushina saying to find someone like her. NH wouldnt only go against the storyline of shonen, it would also go against his own story.

For the people saying that Sakura's time to shine is going to come later because she's a main character, and it's the time of side characters, well.....
Naruto is the main character, he's shining.
Sasuke is the main character, he had his time to shine(Kabuto fight)
Kakashi is the main character, he had his time to shine(Vs. Obito)

Sakura is the main character who still hadn't had her time to shine during this war.
And she is still left with healing....

So I'd like to know where you all get that confidence.

nope. That wasn't a mistranslation from that...Seeing the raw, i can tell you that the translation of mangapanda (and mangastream too of course) on that line was right...

Naruto says "I feel like the bone of my shoulder got out of place."

If you watch the previous page you can clearly see Naruto fell down on his left shoulder...

In my opnion I believe that this little injury will show up ahead....

No, that would not be likely. But I do think it gives Naruto and Hinata a common event to be sad and guilty about, which may (or may not) bring them closer. Perhaps it is not as significant as Naruto and Sakura's shared grief over Sasuke, but grief nonetheless.

First of all this arc is not over yet. Second, since when is there a rule that every main character needs to get his development in this arc?
