As Zac said Donzou wanted what was best for the village....But he tried doing so it in a much different way than most people would. And no I wasnt joking...

Laddies and Lassies, what the heck are you guys arguing about here? Are you guys talking about Danzo? Because, that's not what the topic is imposed here. Anywho, to those that should say Sasuke should live, would you guys be satisfied with a house arrest arrangement, if that were to occur?

your kidding???? i bet sasuke thinks hes doing it for the good of his clan, but that doesnt make it right for him to kill a whole village.

it doesnt matter if it was for the "good" of the village, it was wrong of him to impose his ideas that would have and did hurt people in the village.

danzou got help from orochimaru to invade konoha, and gave him info.

danzou took itachi's friends eye, shisui.

danzou killed the toad (just cause he didnt want naruto to come)

danzou wanted to burn down the village and kill tsunade so he can be hokage, (which he almost got)

ya....know...sasuke unintentionally killed a villain. hokage or not, if a king tries to kill his people for his beliefs that king should fall.

You know those things... even Kishi knows that Sasuke is what made the fans hate on Sakura the most... so SS sounds like a great way to make the end of this anime fail hard..

Somebody's not in a good mood. Well if you don't want to debate, it would be wise not to post in the first place. The point that Madz were trying to make is that even though someone is doing stuff "for the good" of a country/village/etc, doesn't make it the right choice. I thought this was kinda obvious. And yeah you know this is true. Even though he was a Hokage, he was an ass and I'm sure you were relieved when he was killed. But this does not make Sasuke any better. I don't think this could be used as a point on whether Sasuke is redeemable or not. He still did some bad things like attempted kidnapping of Bee, attempted killing of his own comrade(Karin) and other stuff I'm lazy to list. Yes I know most of the stuff is ATTEMPTED but that doesn't make him any better. The intent can't be denied. He's the cause of most of the shinobi world's problems.

SOOOO...... Why is almost everyone here assuming Kishi will just kill his favorite character( to draw). just wondering. If you say because it's logical remember Mangas don't need to "MAKE SENSE"; Naruto can "TALK" others to welcoming Sasuke back to the village as a citizen just consider that possibility

It's not like kishi will kill off Sasuke off panel. My geuss is that in the very very very end he will die, it won't just be "Sasuke the crazy maniac" who died, but it would be "Sasuke, naruto's brother and hero". It would be a great message for Kishi to give out to his readers.

I agree I think Sasuke will be a hero in the end, doing some sort of heroic act. But he'd die, yknow.

at least cheer for naruto to save sasuke. i mean if you think he WILL die doing something heroic, then what will happen if just happens to get up at the very end? just badly injured?

Breaking the chain could also mean by ending the hatred cycle - thus killing Sasuke and defeating the Akatsuki. Also meaning by, Sasuke would do something heroic but eventually meet his fate.

Agreed this is no fairy tail, lots of people are going to die and one of them could be Sasuke(very highly at the moment that he will). Its a Shounen manga theres going to be tragedy's.
