I've drawn something but realistically I dont think I can color it with the time I have. I will eventually share it but it probably wont make it in time for the contest D:

I say do what you can and submit it anyway! I might only have time to throw some lazy looking tones over my drawing anyway

It will be beautiful either way because it is in the name of NaruSaku!

Yeah, fanart entries don't have to be in color. You can color it later if you want.

I've written something and loaded it in fanfiction, but don't want to enter it for the contest, though. Can we participate without entering the contest?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this. Do you want to just leave your entry ineligible for voting?

I don't think that there's a problem there, but could you load it in the library so that people can still find it fairly easily?

I've now updated the announcement for the contest extension, the new deadline is 11:59pm GMT on Wednesday the 2nd of November. This is for both fanart and fanfic categories.

Wow, so many of my favorite writers are posting entries to this contest. It's really gonna be tough to decide who to vote for. I might have to read some of these stories more than once.

Also, I noticed that the deadline for entries has been moved up on the OP, but the voting deadline's still the same date. Kind of a dumb question, but is it safe to assume that the voting deadline is now Nov. 9?

@Soupy: I love the new Halloween set. I LOL'd when I realized who the black cat was.
