Wow... Sasuke is an "outstanding" person? Sakura is "deeply in love" with him? Whoa, I— I don't know what to think of this manga anymore...

Sakura looks shamefull and sad about that.
It seems she still loves him, and she's in shame about it. *

Maybe there is still a tiny chance of NaruSaku... but i'm really deeply dissapointed about Kishimoto right now.
I really don't understand what he's doin'...
He developped NaruSaku relation since the beginning, showed us in the third chapter that Naruto was exactly what Sakura wanted, and yet, he's still on this kitten...
The only chance that remains, IS THE BENCH SCENE.
Sakura believed in a relation possible with Sasuke because of that.
Naruto screwed himself without even realising it.
And when he realised he could do something, it was too late.

OR, we are a bunch of idiots, and we didn't understood anything ... O_o

I'm really tired about all this... it's during for to long.
Kishi and the editor wants money, and fans, so they play with us.
I always thought Kishi had some limits in this.
With this chapter, it seems i was wrong.
I'm really on the verge of being fed up of all this.

I was believing in NaruSaku because of that.
Because Sakura could be really happy with Naruto.

All i want in the end, is Naruto to be happy.
But Naruto still loves Sakura...
And until now, it seemed Sakura was done with Sasuke...

Guys do not give up yet! Its not the end of the world. And its not the end of the story. We all know why sakura still likes sasuke. And its all naruto's fault. This bench scene act has to be resolved, we just have to wait and see.

Definitely I'm not giving up. I'm gonna send lots of emails to Kishi / Shounen Jump on this. They shouldnt give us so many development on Naruto / Sakura if they werent meant to be. It's just very heart breaking...

Now, about the tiny NaruHina part:
Neji overrused his Byakugan, so there's Hinata thinking that she must be become stronger so Neji won't strain himself too much. Then Shino arrives saying that she should also take care of herself but then Hinata have the flashback of Naruto smiling and then she says that she can't because this battle is to protect Naruto.

I haven't seen such ruckus here since 469 and 474, enough to force me out of lurking after all these years.

Once again, Kishi trolls. If there is something where Kishi beats Kubo in trolling, it would be in the pairing realm. At first I'm deeply disturbed when I learned of the... recent developments, but upon reading this post I get to understand why Sakura thought of Sasuke. We can debate on and on on who Sakura likes right now, but without question Sakura had Sasuke in mind the moment fodder nin said "even though he rejected you" (yeah Naruto rejected her too but Sasuke's had more impact to her, and she anticipated Naruto's reaction back then)

The NH part is a no brainer. Still more of Hinata thinking of Naruto... I would only believe NH happening if Naruto reciprocates it.

Despite these I'm still sticking on with this pairing. I still believe NS is the most awesome and lovely pairing whether they're canon or not!

After putting aside my fellings i gave a look in this matter from a little more objective standpoint.

Ok maybe now we know that Sakura is still in love with Sasuke, but on the other hand we have seen growing fondess of hers for Naruto, during whole series. She is hard to get, like every other goal that naruto has set for himself (sasuke, end the war, hatred, be with sakura-chan)but she is worth the trouble. If girl you really really like rejectes you
,dont lower you tail and go away sulking, and if you know she is worth of your love stick to her and show her how much you are a good guy to be with, no nicy nicy but strong firm guy that has his opinions and goals in his life. I think naruto has that and has shown that to sakura many times, she must come to terms of that. This also shows that Kishimoto will not let go of her love for Sasuke without a fight i mean if she would to stop loving him imiditely than everyone would be saying oh she is really ficle as the autumn sky she transfered so easily to Naruto. And really in my inner thoughts it wouldev bugged me all the time, was she really in love with Naruto, or she just transfered from sasuke to naruto when there was no hope left for her and sasuke, cause naruto was a nice guy, bringing her safety etc.
If we look in real life when we see onesided crush where one side that was hurted and rejected goes to other party that is safe, and marries that guy, but always fantasys about that cool guy, and wondering what could be if she was with him. We would not want that Sakura to be with Naruto, cause the Naruto would always be her second choice, that is so wrong.

On the other hand we see on that panel that she is realising bit by bit how this Sasuke is not the old sasuke, but she still loves him, but she knows it is wrong. She still isnt fully aware about her love for naruto. You cant judge her, cause many women who are beaten by their boyfriends of even they have been tried to be murdered, they still think they can help that guy, many sad marriages end up like that, where girl is thinking she can save the guy, and in the end that all ends up in tragedy. Only when others around are hurt (children) than that person understands that she must move (i think naruto in lifethreatning situation will bring her to those terms). away from that guy, to realise is her love really love or infatuation, or attachment to what person was once or completely brainwashed by the guy so she thinks he is all there is, and she must love him until they both die, like faraon would carry his young wifes in tomb to die with him, imagine that horrors. But as we all remember kishi depicting sakura as strong and determened girl so that also means she is strong in her decisions,strong in thinking who she loves otherwise she would be weak if she should sudennly transfer to naruto without SHE HERSELF realising that she really loves naruto. If her love for Sasuke was this strong and ongoing over nothing, than you could imagine how stronger her love might be for naruto when she realises it. Than nothing could happen that could shatter that kind of strong love, that is based on real situation and friendship, selfsacrificing etc.

So i think this is a buildup that Kishi is making, great love from sakura to sasuke only to be replaced by even stronger love, love for Naruto. And the moment when sakura will realise how much she loves naruto will be the moment he is about to die,(something similar to ova) or she will think he is dead, then she will realise in full how much she loves him, and who was with her all the time, not just saying those words but fully realising and understanding them in heart cause she realised it in her mind already but not in heart yet, you dont know what you have until you loose it, maybe that will be a point where she will be more heroin like and do something about her real love naruto and really help him and save him.

If she would to transfer from sasuke to naruto so suddenly then she would be weak character but she is not, Kishi is simply trying his best to show her growth from sasukes love to naruto. Cause sakura has a curse of being heroin and main character and she must live up to that, and that is not giving up on her love for sasuke, (she would be like those women that make peace with second best choice) only greater love can replace that old love, and i think sakura will realise that greater love and friendship is and always has been between her and naruto.

It is funny we debated not long ago how it is cliche in american movies but it may come to that, when main characters have a quarrel , or one end up being dead the other character finds out in his/her heart how much he/she cares for that person, and how he/she was stupid to be in love with cool person how much that love was shallow and how now she realises true fellings. Remember how Sakura when naruto was fighting never was afraid for his safety she had full confidence in his abilities, what if that confidence was taken away, and she was brought up to real circumstances where naruto cant save her or everybody now, and that everything will not be fine,(you came back and saved eveyone, you always come when most needed = that is her thinking of naruto) i thing that kind of her image of naruto has to be shattered, for the sake of her growth. I remember myself when i was dumped by girl, i wanted her back so badly, i knew she was no good for me, i would repeat that sentence to myself over and over again "im better without her, shes no good for me", but i didnt really belived that, it was what i told everyone else, and my thoughts were just for me. I was in pain, only when i snapped out of it, i realised how lucky i was that i didnt end up with that girl cause we had nothing incommon, and only had pain in that relationship.

So i am still giving time to sakura to realise that fact. I didnt think it would come to this, but it makes sense, cause you cant beat novel type of romances with realism or how it is done in real life (you grow out of love when you see your shallow reasons for being in love) you must beat it with bigger type of story and bigger type of romantic plot.
So NaruSaku only seems to be dead like it was buried so many times before, but when Kishimoto smashes SS they will not know what hit them. Kishimoto knows he must put up ratings, he gets the money from the manga he will not abandon other fandoms because of us or his pairing that he is building. But in the end he will smash SS and he will smash them greatly, but it will be in the end of manga when ratings cant sink down, cause it doesnt matter. He is subtle with narusaku, and he is building it from inside slowly so in the end ss will wonder how the heck narusaku happened cause "there was no clues" and they will say he is bad writter, but we will know all the fondness and growth naruto and sakura had for each other throughout the series.

It's a troll attempt guys, we all thought it was over when Hinat confessed during the ain battle, and what happened with that? I honestly don't know what to think but let's not jump conclusions and wait for the chapter Kishi is obviously playing his famous mind games with us. I do know opposite fandoms will be having a field trip with this chapter. Now for the pic where she owns Neji damn now that's what I called a heroine go Sakura.

Naw this is pretty damn direct and straightforward. I'm seriously entering depressed mode right now... thank god I found other couples I've come to love. Sorry but this is one of the most straightforward and confirming scenes in a while. I'm really feeling down...

Now, about the chapter, first, I don't see any naruhina at all, it's just Hinata thinking about Naruto, same as usual.
About Sakura, we will need to see what will happen in the translations, but we all know that Kishimoto is one of the biggest trollers in shonen jump history, not sure if he does that on pourpose or not.

I still don't think SS would be canon, but I am irritated.

But unfortunately, my irritation with the manga is not just about red herrings or Sasuke or even NS. After near 11 years of the manga, at least the mangaka should make up his mind. Whichever pairirng he has planned, he is making all of them look bad by doing this merry go round.

Anyone who reads neutrally can see throughout the entire part 2 that Sakura has been steadily developing feelings for Naruto, even non shippers had agreed to that. NH had only one sided development, and SS had been completely forgotten.

Now, after 470s... suddenly SS has been revisited, albeit still onesided, NH has been cast to the sidelines, and NS has been doubtful.

Then after 40 chapters again SS is visited, still onesided, same with NH, and NS, which was supposedly the dominant, steadily developing pair of part 2 is made out to be some kind of red herring.

Now, whichever way you see it, as an NS, NH OR SS fan. None of the pairing in the end would look good and well thought out or even planned. In the end the mangaka would make all of them look like last minute patch up. Which could have been avoided for NS with the exclusion of this tiny pic of Sasuke from this chapter.

It is not just about the canonicity, it is about ruining the entire experience, even if it ends right.

Sorry for the rant.

Hey Man, "A picture is worth a thousand words" and every word I can think of ,well let's say you don't want to hear the words I'm thinking ...I've been made a fool of and this STOPS here I suggest all of you follow my lead and flush this "turd" of a manga and get on with your lives ,as I am.

My God... I feel you dude. As for all the others who wish to abandon this manga. Once I get 100% confirmation I'm leaving the Naruto fandom. Maybe I'll check to see the ending/epilogue, but I can care less what else happens in between. We've all put so much into this and our hopes and feelings were shot down, I feel we have the right to be indignant. I'm sorry for everyone...

I agree with this. There is always the possibility that Kishi would end Naruto open-ended or the characters are paired up with unknown characters similar to Malfoy/Astoria.
