This was a great chapter. I'm normally not big on the flashbacks, but I've been wondering about Naruto's parents and what they were like. I can see how people see similarities with Kushina and Sakura, but I really loved how Naruto has taken on the personalities of his parents, without ever meeting them. I loved the Habenero nickname. Maybe if Naruto goes super saiyan his hair will grow out and turn red. j/k

I hope they go into more detail on Kushina's special chakra and if it was passed down to Naruto. Maybe it's possible that Naruto has it, but just never knew how to use it. I don't think it's a chakra booster. I don't see how that would be valueable to the cloud ninjas...at least enough for them to want to kidnap her. I think it would have more to do with the bijuu, considering how they were training to control their bijuu. Maybe her chakra was most suitable to be a host.

Something I'd like to see a flashback of is the fight with the nine tails and the sealing of the Kyuubi in Naruto. That way we can see what happened to Minato and Kushina. And I'm sure afterwards they put Naruto in the care of the Third. It would be cool if Kushina passed down their last wishes to Naruto. They already let him know they put the Kyuubi in him to help him. Maybe they will explain how they meant for it to help him in his dreams.

Personally I think it's about time Naruto got another power up. I can only take some much of the Rasengan in it's various forms. Sage mode was pretty awesome, but I'd love to see more. I wonder if he's learned more sealing techniques as well since his father and Jiraiya were both good at those. He did open up the seal for the Kyuubi after all.

Lots left to the story, so hopefully the story won't be rushed at the end. Looking forward to next week!

I cried my eyes out at this chapter, and at the final FMA chapter. I feel like an emotional sap. XD;

It was awesome to see Kushina, she is exactly like I hoped she would be - hot tempered and a great woman!

I'm guessing that Kushina's chakra has sealing qualities, just like how she sealed the Kyuubi. The Cloud would be interesting in using that for controlling their bijuu, and she also wore miko-like clothes when she was being abducted. Miko = sealing/purification.

Now go on, Kushina, ask Naruto the question every mother always wants to ask her son: DOES HE HAVE A GIRL HE LIKES?

Yeah it will be too predictable and obvious Kishi isn't like that none of us thought that Kushina was going to appear from out of nowhere in the middle of Naruto's fight with the Kyuubi.

Actually it's Sasuke's favourite fruit, Rice Balls and Tomatoes, I beleive are his fourite, So we don't want to go there now do we? If it's Sakura's as well that I dono't know, but i'm pretty certain hers is some sweet dish and a a pickled fruit?

Is this referring to just before he was pushed off the cliff? Yeah that part turned out to be a filler, never knew until last week when I decided to read some of the early chapters, didn't even realise that the rest of Konoha 12 weren't introduced until the Chunnin exam and they were all looked down at Naruto, even Shikamaru, which makes me wonder if the school days flashbacks we see in the Anime are also fillers and Naruto really did not have any friends his age until he joined team seven, (And if so, I can also understand why Naruto wants to help Sasuke better than before.)

Damn! Someone stole my iPod and my computer is broken but I want to discuss the new chapter. Sorry that I'm late and if I repeat what someone my said. First of all I also think that Kushina resembles sakura alot. Its been an on going discussion. Sadly she didnt like Minato at first either until he saved her and how many times did Naruto save Sakura? I pretty sure when Naruto saved her from Sasuke is like that. What is Naruto going to do now that he found out that the cloud captured his mother but then again if they didnt he wouldn't be born. Maybe he can thank them. But what I really want know what happens to all guys who complimate her. Haha! Naruto actually called his mom a babe. I don't what fans have been saying about Kushina I like her. She is becoming one of my favorite characters. Minato rescuing after Kushina is like Naruto rescuing Gaara or trying to rescue Sasuke. Sakura and Kushuna also got made fun of because of their looks sadly Sakura didn't beat up any guys other than Naruto. She had Ino defend her. I love the mother son moment. Naruto story is almost complete. I wonder if there well a Sakura moment. Mothers are always wanting to know their kids love life. Its only fair that she does. I mean he asked about hers. Maybe a little advice to him about girls. Did they defeat the nine tail? Wow its like Minakush were made for each other to control the nine. Which is why Naruto explains why he has the fox. Let's see what else? Hm. Well Naruto would kinda be like Kiba and Shikamaru if his mother was still alive. Imagine the conversation that narusaku would have. She probably respect Naruto more and Naruto be less of a knucklehead. Not to start a war and this not a bash but I think that Kushina see Hinata as weak and not fit for her son. Minato would be the one who likes Hinata but as Hokage he knows of Hyuga laws. Damn I blabbing on. Sorry. Is there a Kushina post anywhere for me to talk more?

While that scene of Jiraiya asking Naruto before pushing him off the cliff he has a girlfriend was filler, however the other scenes, Konohamaru and Gamakichi knows that Sakura is Naruto's "main squeeze"; those parts were shown in the manga. It may happen here, if Kushina ask about Sakura (as mothers always does talk about finding the perfect someone subject) or it may not since the mother/son talk is likely to be extended for the next chapter. I'm guessing Kishimoto is saving Naruto's victory for the big 500! (I hope that chapter's pages is in color! That will be awesome! )
