I'm on episode 15!!!!!! It's really sweet, but I cringe a little every time Syaoran gets competitive with Sakura over Yukito because they are meant to be together, and also their reasons for liking Yukito are one dimensional at best.   Well Anyway I look forward to when the romance blossoms between them.

When I Just began to understand Anime Romance I never thought they will get together.

I actually think the anime did a better job at naturally showing the progress of their relationship, which includes the original ending.

And also, make sure to check out both movies! Both are better than the average anime movies coming out today. Second movie concludes original anime ending.

Other thing that the anime do good job  is that  the Cards were more complete than in the manga.

the part where she dreamt of meeting mizuki sensei / yue in the tokyo tower. i think there are like 4 or 5 repeats of the dream throughout the series in part 1.

 

A bit disappointed i wanted sakura to be in high school and no sexy shaoran.   But i will still give the new manga a try.

Well we got different thoughts while you want a clone killing Sakura ( no more comments or I will spoil you more) while I am prefer Sakura bathing Kero babbles Card or we want to see her mature, she can challenge Amaterasu Okami to test her skills ( sorry that was part of my imagination). In the end again I don't want another tsubasa.

yea, it was very boring to watch as a kid back then

 

i'm excited for it, but i'm scared for the characters.. there's bound to be a conflict for the narrative purposes   i love them all too much to see them suffer through any trial it'll be cool to see her interacting with sakura-hime (tsubasa) but that's it   i don't want to see them suffer like in tsubasa.

 

that aside, i wonder if li meiling (up till now, anime-only character) will make an appearance. she became such a good friend like tomoyo   i want to see toya and yukito as well, and mizuki sensei   kero-chan

at the end of tsubasa chronicles, kinomoto sakura hands over her star wand as a price to aid sakura-hime (tsubasa), so i think we'll see that happening in this new series.

Yeah I mean don't get me wrong I read through the manga too and I enjoyed it immensely. But I admit the anime's expansion on the story is much needed and appreciated. because it  gives Sakura and Sayoran's relationship more depth and well I also like the extra cards made compared to the 19 in the manga too

You mean the clamp works that I don't like? For example, Chobits, the main character chooses a chobits instead of a human like him. Then the one sided love of elementary student (I forgot her name), when she comes out, it's like she's pretty serious about it. The others, I can't really remember.

O yeah, chobits was quite controversial.

hideaki keep coming across cases that says its not worth it to get attached to a persocom (cram school teacher's ex husband, bakery owner's ex wife, the little boy who's the persocom expert, freya, etc)

elda (named chii by hideaki) and freya are made with so much dedication and love by a couple (who cannot conceive a child) that they developed emotions, freya went through her heartbreak and attempted suicide, and it is ultimately up to chii to decide if their ability should be shared or sealed..

 

at the end, after hideaki and chii meet so many people and hear their stories.. she reached a decision and left hideaki as she realize there are things she cannot do for hideaki as a robot.. yet after she erased her memory data and herself, she is able to feel emotion and teared after hearing hideaki's declaration of love.. and she decide to share the ability. the assassin robots who were sent to destroy her developed emotions as well, with the female assasin blushing at her longtime robot partner.. so they were able to become more than a killing machine thanks to chii, and yuzuki (little boy's creation) was able to realize her wish for minoru and become more than a machine to replace his dead sister with her newly awokened emotions.

so yeah, the story is filled with subtle warnings for hideaki, and he still chose chii after careful deliberation.. and i'm ok with it, because they do love each other in the story, it isn't anything fickle or pre-programmed, i just think of it as a CLAMP idea of love where everybody is able to love freely. besides, the story is more of chii's search for her special someone in "a town of no people".

 

Even in cardcaptor, there's different stories about love that are different from the usual.

 

rika's love for sensei was depicted as a pure puppy love that helped her in the fight against the sword card.

 

nadeshiko, then 16, fell in love with a new teacher, fujita (a clow reed reincarnation), and they married young (sakura's parents)

 

toya (middle school) fell in love with his teacher, mizuki sensei, who break off their relationship later, when she saw that he will come to love another being, and herself as well (she meets eriol in college, another clow reed reincarnation who retains his memory and later transform himself to a fifth grader to observe sakura/syaoran)

 

and later he fell in love with a clow card guardian, yue/yukito. toya knew from the start that yukito is not an ordinary person where even sakura/kero-chan didn't notice till much later.

 

in tsubasa, a mindless puppet created for the sake of destruction was able to develop his feelings for another artificial being through their journey together

Ah, I kind of wish I didn't know that Sakura and Syaoran are a couple, because I'm just getting a bit anxious to see the improvement in their relationship. It's kinda what happened with "you know what". O__O *throws up* Sorry that thought just made me sick to my stomach and of course this is still INFINITELY better written than THAT.

Sort of. It's more that that Sayoran is a bit prickly to Sakura at first and that they compete with each other over Yukito. Like it's fine and all but at the same time it's a bit exasperating to see such an adorable and perfect couple to be have such a rocky start, especially that they are so oblivious to their own feelings mid-way. But I DYING to see the end where they can admit it to themselves at least.

besides, their backstory are quite realistic too, after all syaoran came to japan for the clow cards so of course he won't be too pleased to see that he's late to claim the ownership.

 

sakura's infatuation with yukito is cute ok   and later on syaoran comfort her after she confess, it's a very tender scene you'll like it for sure.

 

btw do you know there's two movies after the tv series end?

Of course it's cute. It's just not happening. and yes yes I did. I'm planning on holding back all the special episodes and movies till after i finish all episodes first. but I want to finish in time for the new manga too.

 

BTW I was ALWYAYS a Sakura X Syaoran Shipper.   Even in the Nelvana dub where their rivalry was toned up and their romance toned down. that's why I didn't like the dub ending at all. It cut out Sakura and Sayoran admitting their feelings for each other even  to themselves.
