Ok, about her, the reason why Kishi did the way he did was to establish three things:

 

1) Naruto is dying and "nothing" can be done.

2) Chakra from the Alliance are fading fast

3) To end Hinata's role

 

She has the eyes to tell us that Naruto is slowly dying so this confirms that he is going to die if nothing is done. When she ran for Naruto, she tripped because she got tired and her chakra, as stated by others, was running out, but for her, it's gone, hence no Kuruma chakra. She can only pray. That said BYE BYE, HINATA. YOUR PAIRING IS ENDING IN THE NEXT UPCOMING CHAPTERS! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA

The unfortunate part about this chapter is that Hiruzen now has more of an arsenal under his belt to use in a few controversial topics. The debate regarding who's the stronger Hokage between himself and Tsunade has shifted more in the old man's favour now. He literally copied and stalemated the elemental techniques of the Shinju. Moreover, he's apparently the sole reason for why the Alliance is still alive right now. That's with the Kages, including Tsunade, still present. 

 

This may seem trivial to some but the Kage rankings may have changed with this chapter.

Just take a moment and look at how GRAND this chapter is.

1. We're getting THAT moment. The moment that will likely close several shipping doors.

2. Sakura will likely reveal her feelings! Naruto is knocking on deaths door. I wouldn't be surprised if the next chapter is dedicated to her mostly coming to the realization that she's in love with Naruto.

3. Hinata tripping while running for Naruto speaks to me. It says, she'll never reach Naruto. Not in the way fans expect. No matter how hard she tries. No matter how much she yearns and wants Naruto, Naruto isn't gonna return her feelings.

Being called delusional, and claiming that we're not able to see the grand scheme of things when the pairing choice was SO obvious sincethe damn bench sscene . I've shipped it hard since then and throughout the story, there was never ever anything significant enough to make me feel that NaruSaku wasn't gonna happen. The build up, the chemistry, their awesome dynamic. NARUSAKU IS IT! Nuff said!

I'm 100% agree with you  but somehow I rather being paranoid here and say it ain't over till it's over ( even through all that happen over the course of the manga including this chapter)

 

Just don't want to get in the biggest disappointement train  ( though I evaluate my chance to take that train at like less than 5 % right now )

 

I want to see the deal sealed without a shadow of a doubt (somehow I know NH fan  find a way to turn this in a NH moment, don't get how but I know they wil and that 's why I wanted a close end before doing a happy dance:P, yeah when NS happen I definitly do a happy dance lol)

Huh? Can I get a massive high five from the entire fanbase please? I know some of you called it last chapter, but seriosuly I called this like ages ago. I called it since chapter 620.

Yes, I am extremely bragging, but only because I called even before anyone had an idea of something like this happening. I called it over 30 chapters ago with no proof or any idea where the plot was going to go.

BTW, isn't this going to end up almost identical to that OVA? I think so.

This may seem trivial to some but the Kage rankings may have changed with this chapter.

Doesn't he have an infinite amount of chakra too? That also plays a huge part in needing him for battle.

Either Sakura realise her feeling while going with Gaara or when Naruto return to battle he just say something about her forehead and headback to battle.

Did anyone notice Sasuke's real goal ? To create a new village and show what a real kage is . And he doesn't say Hokage either . This could be foreshadowing him going to create his own village in the end and never returning to the leaf .

I've always felt like NaruSaku depended on Sakura and if she reveals her feelings, it's GAME OVER. lol that's just how I feel on the matter.

Seeing that Naruto with Sakura and Sasuke with Karin were described at least once in the manga as heaven and earth shouldn't this chapter be somewhat called heaven and earth's end?

Just joking. It was a nice chapter. I feel that Hinata's part was added there so that Kishi can make that scene at the end. Even if Neji somehow appears fact remains that Naruto is right now blocking Sasusaku and giving Sasukarin free reign. Never thought I would see those 2 ships so powerfull in one chapter and maybe soon in one volume.

I don't understand why fan underestimate hiruzen hokage status.

look I always said that hiruzen is upgrade kakashi with more chakra and less sharingan.

just like kakashi and jiraiya who can answer any situation with their arsenal.

 

and about tsunade, the reason why tsunade didn't get any jutsu beside her super punch, streght, and medicjutsu because she will become IMBA, and it will disrupt the balance of the three ninja.

Doubtful. She's currently flying about on Gaara's sand trying to heal Naruto. Unless Kishi intends to have Naruto's dying body sent to the frontlines as baggage (a highly impractical decision considering Madara's intentions), she's probably being transferred over to Minato and Kakashi. Or it's possible that they're being sent to an isolated part of the battlefield where Sakura can safely perform medical ninjutsu. It wouldn't make sense to have her sent out anyway when not even the Hokages can defeat Madara.

 

It's probably the former, that's what Kurama was likely referring to after all, since he's one of the few shinobis who can pick up a medic and get them to Minato in time. Everything is riding on how long Naruto's Uzumaki genes can hold out until Minato seals his half of Kurama.

sasuke  and karin could build their own clan together to with an uchia and uzumaki married it will break the never ending battle between the two clans

That's one advantage going in his favour. It might be more appropriate to compare Edo Hiruzen with Tsunade. Still, we now have visual confirmation of Hiruzen's ability to use any and all jutsu (obviously there's some hyperbole with that statement but he could probably copy just about any technique that doesn't require DNA or specialised training).

In addition to that Chiyo/Sakura thing Slextrem posted earlier.... There's also the parallel between Tsunade trying (and failing) to save Dan, and this chapter.

I sort of agree here, but I think people need to stop blaming Sakura for narusaku not being canon. Kishimoto has already shown us that even though Sakura made a confession, the two of them cannot be together for other plot reasons.
