Was Sakura in the op/ed?

They probably won't, I think. The whole point of this fight is to resolve things between them; actually, the whole war arc was established so that things could approach a resolution, and things are coming in full circle. 

 

It may be possible- Who knows what Kishi will pull after?- but I'm leaning toward everything ending here. 

We got confirmation that things wont end with the movie.

I guess I'm the only one who liked this chapter. It was short, but completely necessary for the Naruto/ Sasuke showdown. This is probably the climax for the whole of Part II, after all.

 

Once again, it's made more than obvious that Sakura was deliberately sidelined because the focus was on Naruto and Sasuke. Even if she wasn't MIA, there was nothing she could contribute to their clash of ideas. Sakura just simply doesn't connect to Sasuke anywhere near the level that Naruto does.

I don't even think Sasuke remembers Sakura anymore.

 

She means so little to him that he literally has to be reminded who she is every time they interact with each other, it even sounds like that when ever they meet up he always says "Sakura huh?"

Again, Sakura means nothing to Sasuke.

 

The only reason she got stabbed was that she couldn't shut up.

 

Nothing about her is stopping Sasuke from reaching his goals. Naruto is the only close bond he has which is why he's trying to kill him.

I seriously don't understand why you guys want inner Sakura to come back. If inner Sakura would be back, then you could say for sure this time that Sakura has regressed to her self from the first part. Because those times when she was in conflict with her inner self were in the past. She learnt to accept this part of her, and she's not conflicted with it anymore. That would be a big regression to have it back now.

i think tsunade killed inner sakura during her training xD.

She sacrificed herself to break Sakura out of Ino's Mind Transfer Jutsu. Who's to say that she's dead forever when Kishi has a tendency to resurrect characters with Edo Tensei. By all means, Inner Sakura could just be Sakura's genjutsu affinity.
