Naruto tossed the items off the balcony. “That was a tomato and a water balloon. The question is which one hits ground first?” Kenichi looked at his dad quizzically. “Um, shouldn’t you watch them to find out?”

Laughing, Naruto led him into the office. “I already know what moves faster, it’s….”

“An idiot Hokage.”

Wincing, Naruto turned to face his doom wearing tomato pieces. “Hi Sakura-chan! Did I ever mention you look ravishing in red?”

POW! Kenichi sweatdropped as his father crashed into the wall.

Brushing her hands off, Sakura smiled sweetly at her son. “So, any questions?”

“N-no ma’am!”

Here is my first try at a tragic Naruto drabble.

"FUTON: RASENGAN!" roared Naruto as he clashed his attack straight on with Sasuke. Said Uchiha gritted his teeth as he poured all of his final strength into his Chidori Nagashi.

The young Uchiha was here for revenge, seeing Naruto had took away his goal in life. Uchiha Itachi was killed in action whilst trying to catch the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki.

They were just arriving back at the Valley of the End once again, where Sakura and Naruto led the way. Kakashi, Gai and a few other jounins were all chatting freely, seeing they finally got rid of Akatsuki. Jiraiya and Tsunade had gone back first, wanting to make sure the village heard of the courageous acts of one Uzumaki Naruto, who not only kept Kyuubi at bay, but also making sure that no other Jinchuuriki shall fall prey to these S-class missing nins any more.

They were just resting, when Team Hebi ambushed them, Sakura and the rest were separated from Naruto as Uchiha Sasuke corner the blond and forced him into a one-on-one fight. Most of the jounins were drained of strength and therefore, failed to protect the soon-to-be Rokudaime Hokage.

Sakura was helpless, she couldn't believe how Sasuke could be so despicable. True, she had long since got over her childhood crush, finally realizing her blond teammate's true affection for her and had did all that she could to repay him, making sure that he felt the love that she had owed him all those years ago.

Currently, she was engaging a red-haired bimbo, who had the nerve to take her on, HER, as in Haruno Sakura, the woman who had fought beside Naruto on countless occasions against S-rank nins. If only she had more chakra left, but alas, it wasn't to be. She had to rely on her tact and strength to win this.

Naruto coughed up some blood as the impact of the clash sent them both flying. Sasuke couldn't believe this, after all this training he was still weaker. He snarled as he saw the blond continuously get up AGAIN. Is this the kind of legendary stamina jinchuuriki had?

The blond stared at his palm, and looked up at the sky. Sasuke was his brother, no matter how much he hated him for his stupidity, he had to do this. He gave a weak smile towards Sakura, before mouthing the words I'm sorry....

"This attack is the final one Sasuke! BRING IT!" and as expected by the Uchiha, Naruto formed the attack, his ultimate rasengan, Futon: Rasen Fuma Shuriken. Sasuke's eyes widened at the intensity of the attack, it was incredible.... So...you've always been this strong huh...Naruto...

Sasuke faced the attack, his sharingan eyes flaring to view, the familiar Raikiri appeared in his hands. He knew he had no chance. He chuckled, right from the beginning, he knew he had no chance. But...he just wanted it all to end. And so, he chose to be a coward. Yes, him, Uchiha Sasuke, a coward.

"Come, come and end it all, NARUTO!!!!!" yelled Sasuke as he was determined to use his death to repay his teammates.

Sakura however, froze instantly. Her eyes focused solely on Naruto, those lifeless eyes, those dim cerulean orbs that have lost it's usual vibrance. Those words he had mouthed... no...NO... It can't be. She stared at the Rasengan in his hand, before a horror-filled cry tore from her throat. "NOOO! NARUTO!"

She tried to get past, but this red haired b*tch just HAD to block her. Sakura charged all her chakra into one final punch, broke through her defenses and smashed Karin right in the face, sending her right into the cliff, knocking her unconscious.

But still she was too late. All she could do, was watch on helplessly, unable to do anything...as she watched on. Baka... Tears slowly rolled down her cheeks as she knew what was going to come.


"RASEN FUMA SHURIKEN!"
"RAIHOUKIRI!"

Blood sprayed everywhere, as all stopped to witness this final exchange. The konoha nins hoping against hope that the no. 1 unpredictable blond might have pulled forth another miracle.

Sasuke could not believe his eyes as he stared at the sight before him. Gasps of fear and horror filled the air as Naruto grinned one last time...Sasuke's hand tore through his gut, whereas his hand hung limply to the side.

Uzumaki Naruto...had released his technique, right before the clash...allowing Sasuke....to kill him.
The Uchiha's hand started to shake, as the severity of the situation hit him...he...he had just...killed the only one...he called a brother....

Naruto chuckled bitterly before pushing himself off Sasuke's arm, "You got your revenge teme...happy now?"
It was incredible that he was even alive at that moment, but even if the Kyuubi was trying its best to heal its vessel so that he wouldn't have to die as well, all was futile. Anyone could tell.

Sasuke started to shiver as Naruto began to fall backwards, his eyes ever so tired...
A pink blur rushed past the Uchiha craddling Naruto before he reached the ground, her hands caressing Naruto's face gently, tears streaming down her cheeks as her slender fingers craved for the touch of her lover...

She gazed lovingly at his face, so peaceful...so calm...nothing else mattered at this moment. It was over...
"Naruto..."

The blond opened his slightly...before giving his foxy grin one last time, his whisper meant everything to her, "I love you. Always."

And as he grasped her hand, feeling her love for him one last time...his eyes closed, his heart stopped beating and time moved on. He was dead.

Sakura shook her head, as she shakily stroked his whisker marks..."Why...you baka...why can't you think of yourself for once? Why can't you just ignore others and place yourself before them?"

She raised his limp hand to her lips, giving it a tender kiss, before hugging him to her tightly, not wanting to let go, the tears kept coming. She wanted to be brave, she wanted to show the world that she was no longer that small little girl that was so helpless and weak that she was afraid of danger. But she couldn't.

The sobs came fast and steady, she couldn't This was Naruto...her one and only love...she still had so much she wanted to tell him, so much she needed to do for him, she loved him...why, why must it always be so unfair for the blond?!

Sakura slowly turned to the Uchiha, looking at him with an anger he had never seen before, before she screamed, "WHY?! WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO US?! CAN"T YOU JUST LEAVE US ALONE?! HAVEN"T YOU TORMENTED US ENOUGH?!"

For once, Uchiha Sasuke's mind was utterly shattered. He couldn't do anything. He just kneeled there, staring at his blood-bathed arm, where his brother, Naruto...Uzumaki Naruto's blood lingered on, as though reminding him of his disgusting deeds.

He was ashamed...Naruto had made him realize long ago that revenge was not the way to go. Yet his stubborn attitude had made him jealous and envied Naruto for his strength, when all the while, the blond had tried his hardest to get where he was now.

Sakura cried into her fiance's body, as she held him close, unwilling to let go, wanting to treasure his final warmth, willing him to wake up once again and kiss her with his passion, to love her with his entire soul...

"NARUTO!!!!!!!"

Uzumaki Naruto was indeed the most unpredictable ninja of all times. He had made Sasuke repent, and gained the respect of ninjas from all five lands in the years to come.

The price...however...was him life.

And all there at the scene that day, shall remember the sight of Sakura holding him, crying all her tears of sorrow, and all they could do...was bow their heads...and give the man his proper respect.

Whoa, that was kinda long. LOL. Hope you guys like it. XD

I just realized that it was probably too long, so treat this as 2 drabbles.

It was almost like a dance.

Kunai flying, flying, rotating and flying ever onwards

They never found him, he wouldn’t die.

Not today.

He stepped inside a man’s guard, twirling around, around and under the man’s elbow.

The blade ripped a crimson trail through the poor fool’s torso, ribs cracking and splintering under the force of the black blade.

He shouldn’t be doing this, this wasn’t right!

But it felt so good.

Like a game

Naruto watched in Horror as his Sensei cut the townsfolk down. They died by the dozens. His sensei wasn’t using Jutsu, and seemed to be Enjoying the bloodshed. He watched as his sensei practically tore a man in half with a single swipe. Kunai flew at Takeshi, he didn’t block them, he let them pass by, flowing from position to position like a wraith over water. Flowing from victim to victim like quicksilver.

“Naruto, we have to stop him.”

Naruto looked at Sakura, his love, his reason.

He looked at his sensei, at the black eyes that had consumed his sensei’s mind.

“Alright”

Her arm had been cut open, two flesh wounds and a deep cut, right in the muscle. She fell down, her back slamming against the wall of a home, not two feet to her right was the eviscerated form of the household’s father. The Children had had enough time to flee, thankfully.

Ahead, Naruto was dueling with his sensei, sweat came down his brow, dripping into his eyes, giving Takeshi the opening his crazed mind needed, as his black blade slipped forwards like quicksilver, drawing a path of crimson on Naruto’s face, watching in fascination as the cut healed before Takeshi had even finished the blow.

Naruto couldn’t land a blow, his sensei moved like lightning, he was as fluid and fast as Lee on a gallon of sake. Naruto formed Kage Bunshin, preparing for the long haul, ready to fight until his sensei’s mind had returned.

Or until he was dead.

Happiness.

We all want to be happy. No one wants to wallow in sadness consciously. Uchiha Sasuke wanted to be happy. Uzumaki Naruto wanted to be happy. Haruno Sakura wanted to be happy.

They started off the same path, walking in same direction, but yet their aims were different, their dreams were different, their very definition of happiness was different. And then one day came when their paths diverged, when Uchiha Sasuke took a different path. He felt that he was right, that there was happiness at the end of his road. The others did not believe him, said he had gone rogue, said he had betrayed them.

He did not care, for there were no bonds binding him to that village anymore. But somewhere still, Uzumaki Naruto had a bond with him that he could not break. Those bonds were what made him come to take him back home. And then there was Haruno Sakura, who was she anyway, more than a teammate, more than a friend?

He hated these bonds, he hated these restrains that bound him to the earth. He wanted to fly, and find peace within himself. There were many goals he had discarded on the way, thrown them off like additional baggage. There was only one goal he had in mind, kill Itachi and close this chapter.

Orochimaru was a fool when he believed he could get the Sharingan. That was why he was killed. He was standing in front of his goal and so had to be eliminated, plain and simple. And now close to his dream, Uchiha Sasuke has encountered another obstacle, a bond. But this time he was ready, he would break this bond and be free.

“Sasuke!! I’m telling you, I not going back until I take you with me!!”

That loud voice and that determination. Why does he stand in his way? Why can’t he get a life and let him be? Now he would be force to kill him, his friend, his brother. His hand went to his chokuto as he gathered chakra on his hand. The Sharingan came to life as his eyes changed to red. He would not be stopped today.

“Sasuke kun!! There are multiple chakra signatures converging on our location!”

Karin’s voice breaks him out of his stupor. This means there are others with him and this fight will not go uninterrupted. Of all times, why now? He could not afford to get caught by them, not now when Itachi was within his grasp.
Genjutsu! That would keep Naruto busy while he escapes. The Mangekyou can wait, but Itachi won’t.

“Naruto… you think you can stop me?”

Eye contact. Now to deploy the genjutsu.

“Yes, I’m gonna kick your ass and then drag you back to…”

Now!

“Konoha. You hear me?”

“Karin, Suigetsu, Juugo. Let’s go. He’s busy with a genjutsu.”

He takes off again. That genjutsu won’t last long but will delay him long enough for him to escape.

“Sasuke kun!”

Karin’s voice again. He missed that kunai by an inch. Naruto? Oh yes, kage bunshins…. How could he forget? This fight was now inevitable.

“They’re here.”

Juugo. His birds say something to him, and the black markings creep up his neck. Suigetsu unstraps the Kubiki Houchou and Karin gets into a battle stance. Sasuke looks around, and finds Kakashi. This is bad, the one technique he has that is a sure win can be nullified by the one-eyed bastard; after all he was the one who created it. And Sakura as well, looking different from the last time they had seen each other. There’s an aura of power around his former teammates, and he doesn’t like it one bit.

He did not want to fight now, not when his chakra had not replenished completely, and not when so many high level shinobi were here. Kiba, Shino, Hinata, the trackers; so that explained how they got to him. So, running wasn’t an option and surrendering a definite no. They had only one option, fight. Fight for the happiness they all wanted in their own way,

“Juugo, Suigetsu, Karin. It seems that we have no options. I want no casualities, all right?”

And so it began.

The room was white, unstoppably white.

It was white even when he closed his eyes.

There was the orange man, there,

Silly, silly colors.

Oh, what a silly boy, silly, silly boy.

“I want to talk to takeshi-sensei.”

Naruto watched as the black-eyed man stared, a demented giggle of all things escaping his mouth every now and then. Naruto wished he knew what was so terribly funny. He also wished he knew what the hell happened to his sensei.

“I want to talk to Takeshi-sensei!”

He was standing now.

Why was the boy standing?

It’s not like standing would do anything

Well, he could move f3aster

But could he move fast enough?

Fast enough for what?

“WHERE THE HELL IS MY SENSEI!!??”

Naruto reached across the interrogation table, grabbing the insane man by the neck, and yanking him upright. The chains clattered and clanged against eachother, holding Takeshi’s arms tethered down on the chair’s arms. Naruto’s teeth were bared, a low growl emitting from his throat as the man stared crazily at him.

“Oh, he’s a little busy, he won’t be back for a while….”

Naruto almost ripped the man’s throat out, before remembering that this body was his sensei’s, even if the mind was a little… possessed.

Posessed…

Poses-

Naruto released the man, letting him fall one foot back into the chair. Naruto turned to face the one-way mirror behind him, sighing in defeat before looking up with determination in his eyes.

“I want a Yamanaka in here, NOW!!”

He turned back to look at Takeshi.

“I’m coming to save you, Sensei.”

And in that briefest of moments, that single instance of madness,

The eyes were not black

Nor were they grey, like always.

They were Yellow.

Naruto blinked, and the yellow was gone.

He turned back to the mirror.

“Get me that goddamn Yamanaka NOW!!”

The rain poured down outside the large glass window, dribbling silently againsty the night sky and blurring her vision of the town below. The young girl pulled her blanket tighter around herself and huddled closer in her chair. She didn't like rain. It was cold and hard and kept her awake when she was trying to sleep. But mostly she didn't like rain because it prevented her from seeing the flowers that grew around the village, or dance with the sakura blossoms that usually flew about in the wind. Now as young as she was, there were very few things she actually enjoyed in life, but one of them was flowers. She loved the way they would sway in the daytime or glow like rainbows beneath the sunlight. She loved how each one had a meaning to them and how when you picked the petals theyed swirl like fairies in the breeze. Out of all, she loved how when she talked to them, when there was no one else to talk to, it felt like they were listening, even if they never spoke back. She loved flowers and thats why she hated the rain. But blowing a strand of blond hair from her crystal blue eyes, the small 6 year old leaned once again upon the window pane, willing to wait for the rain to clear until she could run out fee andl at home again with a flower between her fingers. Or maybe just to feel like there was something worth waiting for...

Naruto stood patiently to the side, watching as Ino prepared to invade Takeshi’s mind. Takeshi simply stared at her, his eyes never lingering anywhere, observing her like a curious child would. Sakura leaned close to Naruto, and he relished the smell of her hair as it brushed against his nose.

Ino formed the seal for Shintenshin no Jutsu.

Naruto watched intently.

Sakura watched, worried for her friend.

Takeshi was distracted by the ceiling. How long had that been there?

“SHINTENSHIN NO JUTSU!!”

Ino’s body crumpled, as Takeshi’s body straightened, before falling slumping in the chair.

Sakura looked worriedly at her best friend’s body.

“I hope she’s okay.”

Naruto had the dignity to feel a little guilt for what he’d made Ino do, but it was necessary.

“She will be.”

a flash of grey, quicksilver swinging down. A spray of arterial blood.

Mother was dead.

There are rumors going on that a certain person has huge amount of luck, as in good luck...…

And Sakura thinks it is about Naruto...…

She had heard from her master, Tsunade that Naruto has a THAT amount of luck, some of those stories which she had heard from Jiraiya that she could not believe… though Sakura was curious how her teammate had all that money for ramen and sometimes gifts he bought for her...…

So here they are, a team consists of Naruto, his cousins now sisters, Megumi and Lily, Sai and herself on another D-rank mission.

As they walk around in the marketplace, a voice was calling towards Naruto…

"Hey you.."

Naruto, who was giving his little cousin, Lily, a piggyback ride, suddenly stopped…

"Naru-chan... why did you stopped?" asked the ten year old strawberry-blonde girl. He walked up to the stand while carrying Lily...…

"Naruto, what are you doing?!" Sakura demanded to know what her teammate is doing.

Naruto took out his wallet "Gama-chan" which had a little a bit of money inside, took some out for two scratch-offs, one for Lily and one for himself.

"What's he doing?" Sai asked

"I think that's a lottery stand," Megumi said.

Naruto was busying showing Lily how to do the scratch-off.

"Naruto, we don't have time for this. We can do that another..."

"Awww... I lost," Lily pouted, but then...

"We have a winner!"

"Huh?!" all three were surprised. They walked up towards the stand. The woman on the stand gave Naruto a receipt and a bundle of money…

"Thanks!!" Naruto chuckled for winning.

"Wait; let me see the receipt..." Megumi said as her cousin gave her the receipt...…

Her face-faulted and her jaw almost dropped...

"Let me see," Sakura said curiously...she read the receipt and...…

Sakura couldn't speak; her face was faulted as well and she was speaking jibberish... Naruto won how much?!!!

In the mind of anyone who wants to be wealthy in life, especially those who are greedy, seeing that kind of money will give them daydreams of swimming in pool full of money while the song, "I'm in the Money", plays in the background.

Though Naruto is not that kind of guy for that matter...

Sakura couldn't believe it. The rumors are true. Naruto has heaps amount of luck in gambling. If Tsunade was known as the Legendary Sucker, then Naruto could be known as the Legendary Winner. Now, if he doesn't spend it on about 100 bowls of ramen and give some to charity, he will be in financial secure for life or both of them will be secure, if she marries him...…

"Marry him, SHANNARO!!!" Inner Sakura screamed in her mind, throwing a fist in the air.

"Uh...Sakura...? Are you there?"Megumi was calling her.

Sakura blinked, while she saw Lily hugged Naruto tight to congratulate him for winning the money. She smiled at the blonde who grinned at his younger cousin. Though, in her mind, Inner Sakura is currently planning to proclaim Naruto so no other girl can catch him.
