I'm making a "big deal out of it" because it has just come to my attention while NS has obviously taking a back seat ever since the summit, NH has gradually gotten moment after moment. You can try to downplay their moments, but at least their having moments lately, can't say the same for NS. Staring contest, cheek touching, hand holding. What's next? Armpit sniffing?

I understand what you mean, but it's really just Naruto appreciating that she helped him with Pein, and cheering her up and encouraging her seeing that she let herself down.

Thank you for at least seeing where I'm coming from. And I understand that it's just Naruto showing gratitude, but just how many more times is Kishi going to draw out scenes where Naruto has the opportunity to show his gratitude towards Hinata? First it was the eye contact, then it was the huge, and I mean monumentally huge, hand holding moment. And sure, people can downplay that moment by including other hand holding, but they most definitely can't take away the dramatic buildup that led to that moment. You got the slap, nindo speech, hand caressing cheek, speechless stare from Naruto, and then the hand holding. And he makes yet another scene where the opportunity arises for Naruto to show his gratitude by Hinata playing medic. I doubt we won't be seeing anymore interaction between the two.

Most of the time that whenever there's Hinata, there's going to be Naruto. That how her character can play.

Naruto is the one who encourage her, made her more confident and showed her how to be strong. Then, there has to be development for Hinata which is, as her character oblige her, do something in return for Naruto. That's what 615 meant. Kishi gave Hinata this chapter cause he knows how much some fans like her, and he knows how much development she needs due to what her character holds.

Another thing is that Kishi wants to give some fans something to feed of till the end of the series. What else can you do other than show them "N"H scenes in this war ?
So, expect more "N"H moments in the future too.

By the way, I don't mean from the latter for you to look on what Kishi means, but just showing you how it's related to Kishi's lately actions.

I'll still bet on the latter. If Kishi makes NaruSaku canon and yet only makes dramatic moments for NaruHina, well, that would just blow.

That's not to say that NaruSaku hasn't gotten it's share of great moments, but before it becomes canon there should be a great significant scene that precedes it. That's to serve as a restart of the readers' interest in the development between Naruto and Sakura. Let's hope Kishi is aware of that.

Once we go back to battle, we can only hope. But still, it is convenient that once the boss battle begins, we have no Team 7 (Kakashi, neo, or new 7) to shine. Kakashi being there tells me we will soon get an answer from that incident. I guess Sasuke's part is break time.

i would start worrying if it was a compliment from Naruto like "your eyes are beautiful" or something that gives this intent, on 618 chapters we had no quotes from Naruto complimenting Hinata, while we had from Naruto towards Sakura.

About Nh and NS, you dont need to be a genius to know that a single NS scene makes it canon, after all that happened on the war arc a single scene pratically makes it canon, NS got a bigger development that only people who are in denial cant see that if a single scene happens is because it's canon, if it happens from Naruto, it would prove that he will only love Sakura no matter what are the claims, if it happen from Sakura, a "feelings" shift to Naruto is inevitable, even for those who are in denial.

Sakura is the one that carried the wrong ideas hence Kishi starting her character as "unlikeable." Naruto is the guy who we are supposed to support all the way, like it or not.

That's pretty much the truth right there. I don't exactly remember Hinata being this popular in part 1, but I did already mention why I believe certain people support her now, which was for some reason, it's easier to relate to her love problems then Naruto's to Sakura. Apparently falling for someone like Sakura is a bad thing in the United States

Sakura is likeable, but one of the main reasons that some fans are giving her a hard time, is because Hinata had some support in part 1, many people started to like her a lot, like seeing some fans liking her and then it dragged all the way to many other. So, they started seeing the threat from Naruto loving Sakura and wanting it for Hinata... and there we have the result... fans bashing the heroine

It's something like the equation of Shadow Uzumaki that he posted it like a week and a half ago.

Disagree there, the problem was Sakura wasnt too likeable on part 1, she was annoying along with Naruto himself(his voice).
Now about pairing is the fact that Sakura only recognized Naruto on the ending, put all the panels you want but i can counter every one, she only truly recognized him at the end of the arc.
Now going back to pairing was the fact that Naruto loved Sakura and did everything to protect her, while Sakura didnt acknowledge it and Sasuke getting all the credit for Naruto's actions(Gaara's fight) NAruto got heartbroken 3 times on part 1 which is bought back on "Sakura's confession", bridge's hug(one-sided), Hospital(one-sided) the promise(one-sided) she was very selfish on part 1 in contrast to Naruto undying and hurtfull(hence why winning her love over was never an obssession) love on part 1 there was Hinata a shy girl.

On part 2.
Sakura was more gentle with Naruto but Naruto thought that she could never be affective towards him, which is why everytime she shows affection towards him he simply get surprised, Sakura's hug, feeding scene...
NAruto's flashbacks about Sakura proves it.

Narusaku had a lot of downsides this comes from me who wasnt a shipper.
