Well the difference is that on part 1 Hinata was shy and did nothing for Naruto, her shyness was a problem for her she could not support Naruto she was there hiding behind a tree all the time even on when they searched for Sasuke she barely interacted and only stood behind a tree.
Databooks says that for her last development is to overcome the shy attitude, since 615 she wasnt to shy anymore to do nothing to Naruto, i did not see 615 as Hinata trying to force her love into Naruto, she didnt make a romantic speech, look at her speech she didnt say "i love you Naruto" or something that implies it, she supported doing a common speech about friendship nothing more or less, she woudl force if she did "Naruto your nindo changed me, i was a loser...., i'm here at your side..." sort off like this then i would say that she's forcing.
Hinata character is about "shy".
Disagree. It was true Hinata was all about "shy" but she's not like that anymore. Still quiet and meek but she gained some more confidence in 615 to stand up to her crush. Honestly, I do. 573's line: "This time I will hold your hand and walk with you!" was what I interpreted as her trying to be more upfront over her feelings and actually try to be with him. Though Hinata said nothing about her own personal feelings for him in 615, she still caressed his cheek during that entire speech. That was her not so subtly expressing her feelings for him. Someone who only saw Naruto as a friend wouldn't do that. So yes, I do think that supports Hinata forcing her feelings.
Hinata has enough dignity and maturity to realize a speech about her feelings when her cousin just died is completely disrespectful and unneccessary. She does not have enough dignity, on the other hand, to stop herself from fangirling over a hand-holding.
@Don-Kun: Personally, I don't think it's Kishi being terrible at writing romance. It's just that Hinata's character development is centered around acknowledgement and her love for Naruto, not exactly getting to know him and be with him. Hinata is so madly in love with Naruto because he heavily affected her life indirectly and made her want to change herself. Ironically, hero-worship love not the genuine "I love the person he is on the inside" type of love.
