I don't know if the quote is real, I found on tumblr it didn't offered any source or anything like that, but really I'm not doubting anything right now. This Sakura falls on how her 12 year old self acted and and if we take what happened in the end ( her mental state went back to her 12 years old), this could be really true

They probably haven't read it considering they don't understand the core message of the story.

I think they wanted to make a story but they don't have characters, so they bought the Naruto characters who already has significant brand name and popularity to promote their type of stories. Boruto having nothing to do with ninjas is probably to match what THEY want to write.

It's just a guess but I believe they 'bought' the characters so what they do with them is up to them. They are trying to make business with 'characters' (like how you can make business with Mickey Mouse alone) but they have a mismatch of demand and supply because readers value the content and quality of the story more than they believed. Whereas with Mickey Mouse no one really cares what kind of a life he lived and personality he has, people will buy Mickey Mouse products because the character overcomes the story.

Character-oriented business like Disney's Mickey Mouse did not work for the Naruto series and the characters I guess.

Bought the characters? Well, that makes sense, considering that Kishimoto doesn't have anything to do with it more than the design...

Uhm, it works for some people I guess. There are persons that just didn't care...

You know, I want to meet Kishimoto someday and throw monkey poop to his face. Either that or tell him directly all his kitten and that his waifu Hinata sucks.

Before I go to sleep, allow me to bring the good news.

 

As you may be aware, The Last Naruto The Movie box office starts to surface for USA. Atheck, our good friend, brought the news about the opening weekend and it did $179,370. That's good for them. People here believed that it can pass over a million because of one day gross. It is good, no doubt.

 

Well, I'm afraid I have some bad news (for those who believed the million):

 

The site has updated and as I said before, this week is the last week for The Last to be shown in more than 2 areas since many of them are done showing, due to less popular demand on the certain market, including Los Angelos, despite they added more screenings for one extra week, which it didn't sell out. So what's the next week gross?

 

Well it reached to $446,795.

 

What about the following week gross? Well, that's where it gets interesting:

 

It reached to $483,795. This closed at March 12th.

 

Once again, this is the last weekend of multiple screening. The only one that will be open is NYC. A very few will open up soon, but only for a day or two. So if you're hoping for a million in USA, well, be prepared to be disappointed. Otherwise, rejoice.
