I hope we get a season 3. The anime was good. I haven't read the manga. I know most people didn't like season 2, but tbh I liked it better than the first season. It had more action imo and we got to see Arima in action for the first time in the anime. I loved the ending theme song of S2 and S1 opening.

Season 2 is mostly filler except episode 1. So, I hope they do season 3 to continue with canon material.

So the latest chapter is heavily implying that Touka and Kaneki could become canon in the next chapter.
Long story short, a fan posted this tweets to Ishida and here they are:

Ahhhh, I've never been so happy before until today to be a Touken shipper. Kaneki realizes Touka's feelings for him and remembers how he used to often come to the coffee shop to stare at Touka. This was written so nicely. Thumbs up, Ishida.
