You know, it's rather odd that everytime Sakura does something, Obito isn't presence and when I say that, I mean someone who sticks out a lot. I mean the summoning back in 633 would have alerted Obito that she's a strong medic, so he would have reacted and possibly attack her, which well you take it off from there. I mean let's see.

Obito: Hm, I thought there was someone approaching to Naruto. Oh well, false alarm. Just some Hyuuga girl that I got no connection in my past, so moving on...

Obito: Oh, Naruto and Sasuke are trying to kill the beast. Good thing, there's no medic with them in front line, that would be awkward for me. Luckily, I came in time. Not like I miss a speech from possible lover for Naruto or anything significant. Ok, time to become an jinchuuriki.

Obito: I should go attack mode. I'm sure there's no same age best friend of Naruto who is a medic that will help all of these fools. Because once I go to attack mode, I won't focus on anything else and just focus on Naruto and that traitor Sasuke.

 

I really wonder if it's coincidence. We'll see.

If some fillers can be considered "technically" canon then why don't we consider Road to Charasuke canon as well, where both alternate versions of Ino and Chouji admitted Sakura is really meant to be with Naruto.

I guess it's possible for Kishi to have Obito not pay attention to Sakura because she reminds him of Rin, but if that were the case then wouldn't he be like "oooh, Rini's spirit is still around in some way, I guess I shouldn't destroy free will."

Not really, Sakura cut her hair before Rin appeared, LOL.  I bet if Sakura hadn't cut her hair, Rin would have been drawn with long hair (but that conversation is moot), haha.

Well, I do find it funny that many heroine cuts their hair and they turn out to be the love interest as well. This usually happens to tomboy/tsundere characters. Maybe I just happened to keep seeing that.

Well, I didn't say they become love interest as soon as they cut their hair. I'm just saying they usually go through that process and it's usually from those types.

 In my opinion cutting Sakura's hair was Kishi's plan to make her Slowly(very slowly) move on from Sasuke since she did grew it out for him  but other than that the other reason is to take being ninja seriously.
