I rarely get to see movies when they come out because we live in a town with no family or close friends, so our kids are with us all the time. However we do have netflix, and with that I'm able to see some movies.
Cabin in the woods 9/10
Wow, just wow, I remember seeing trailers that had peoples reactions and I wanted to see it so bad!! Needless to say I would still pay to see it on the big screen. I'm a huge horror fan and at first it looked like a creepy cabin movie, kinda like evil dead, but it was far from it. By the time John and I watched it I knew that there were "people" behind the scenes that were causing the scenarios the teenagers were facing, but I never thought their true purpose was so big. That's why I loved this movie, it was so imaginative what with it's story line monsters and gore. I would have given it a 10 if we got to see more of the gods in the end, not just a arm, but still a great movie to share with friends!
Iron Man 3 9/10 I don't care about fans whining that the Mandarin was a fake weakling nothing compared to the real one from the comics. I love the movie, the plot, the characters, the action, the drama everything. Those who were complaining because there wasn't enough armor action are just whiners looking to find something to brag about. Honestly watch it again very good movie.
Star Trek Into Darkness 10/10 what can I say about this movie? It was absolutely amazing J.J Abrahams have done it again go see it now!
Woah, This place has really changed. Blowing my mind and this is a cool thread.
Star Trek ll: Wrath of Khan 8/10
Despite how old and cheesy it is by border-lining having the whole script quote Moby kitten, it was actually really good. William Shatner will always be the most overdramatic Kirk ever, I love it.
Star Trek Vl: The Undiscovered Country 7.5/10
It was a pretty decent movie, though I was sad to discover that Saavik wouldn't continue appearing in more of the Star Trek movies after 3. I really liked her character. It was funny and delved a bit into mystery and betrayal. Pretty political for a sci-fi movie, but cool... on a cheesy level. Thinking about watching the rest of the movie series, if I ever encounter more. Plus George Takei's Sulu is so sassy he's lovable.
Doubt it was budget reasons, since they know for a fact it'd make a killing. The main theme of the 3rd movie is if it's the suit that makes Tony, Iron Man or if Tony needs the suit to be Iron Man.
We got the answer, of course, Tony without the suit is Batman.
I think you are absolutely right about the theme. I still think they may have also limited the suit screen time to widen the already large profit margin. Yes, it had a huge budget, and yes it was a low-risk blockbuster but of course they want to make as much money as possible. It might not be the case for this movie but I had a production artist that worked on Transformers: RotF tell me they had to cut screen time for a lot of the bots, especially Optimus Prime because it simply took so much time and resources.
anyway
The Great Gatsby 8/10
Twas' good. It was done in a very different way than I was expecting but it made me give it more respect. The cinematography seemed to do this thing where they used a lot of "lo-fi" special effects even though they were superfluous. I can't explain it very well but for example instead of simply filming the actor standing on a dock on a lake like they easily could have, it looked like they filmed each component (the actor, the background, etc.) separately then super-imposed it all to give it a unique look and feel. Maybe it was in an homage to the special effects being used in the 20s and 30s. The actors were mostly good. I might be the only one but I can never stand Carey Mulligan. In the end I hated every character except two but I think that was the intention.
Good action scenes, I like Clark's entire character development. Good action scenes. The plot's good, shows perfectly that Superman's not OP all the time.
Now for the cons, it's really slow at the beginning and somewhat boring, probably because, like Batman and Spider-Man, we've gone through Superman's origins so many times that it's repetitive, even in their somewhat more unique/serious take on how people would react if there's a superpowered teen/man running around. Also, the music... Hans Zimmer may be an awesome composer, but it sounds like he really only used 1 theme for the entire movie. The music in this trailer?
3rd trailer
It felt like I heard pieces of it where appropriate and that's it.
Supes and Lois
The romance between Supes and Lois do feel rushed as well. While I don't mind that she learns his secret identity in this movie, it feels like their romance go "they meet, she deduces his secret identity using good ol' investigative journalism, he rescues her a lot, they kiss." It would've worked if they showed scenes of them meeting each other more times after she discovers his identity.
but Amy Adams is one of my favorite actresses and she did a good job, even if this Lois isn't as spunky as other incarnations.
Overall, it's not perfect, but it manages to show Superman's development into the champion of the Earth. The good fight scenes was the best part, though; fully what I expected in a Superman movie.

Man Of Steel (2013): 9/10
Just got back from the Theater and holy kitten what an Awesome Movie. I've got a smile on my face that just won't go down. Henry Cavill was a great Superman, Michael Shannon was a great Zod and the Supporting Cast was great too abeit underdeveloped. I'd rank this 3rd among the Superman Movies in my personal list behind Superman: The Movie and Superman 2 (The Donner Cut).
This was disappointing. Albeit not a big one, there's plenty to like, but just as much to not like.
Pros:
The action was fantastic, but I feel like the time spent emphasizing action is why the movie suffered. The big complaint about 'Superman Returns' is that Superman never threw a punch and there weren't huge climactic battles to be had, that they concentrated too much on Superman and Lois' relationship (and of course the child thing too but that's another big thing for fans). Where as in this movie the action pieces are great but the character stuff is sub-par (you can read it in my tirade below the cons).
- Music, I love the theme, love it! but that's really all there is to like. And while there are variations that play throughout the film (as with any movie theme songs -- they have variations), but the other songs that don't utilize the theme are completely and utterly forgettable.
Cons:
Spoilery tirade: there's both a short one and a long one
Basically the problem with Superman/Clark's character development can be summed up with the ending of the movie: Clark kills Zod (I told you spoilery!) and is decimated at the fact that he just killed someone with his powers. In the last scene following, although it's some time later, Superman is completely normal. No regrets, and well adjusted. Now I realize that Superman isn't Batman, that brooding isn't his thing, but not only do they miss the chance at character development (you'll see this word a lot) and a point of tension for the next film, but it's super jarring. One of the things all these super hero movies are going for now since Batman Begins is "realism" and being set in our world and making the character more relatable and down to earth. Well... I'm pretty sure that killing someone if you're not a psycho is a life changing event, one that stays and colors you. But like all of Clark's character development in the film it happens offscreen over time. Case and point all the most interesting stuff happens between Clark's younger years (where he is unsure of himself and his place) and his older years (where he's sure and just kind of wants to find more info about his race, but whatever <-this is how it feels from him).
longer rant
The Characters:
Superman: He has no clear character development. Anyone who argues otherwise, please tell me, because I completely missed it. I saw they had several different ways they could have developed his character, but they either kicked it to the way side or it was so small that it was non-existent. I’ll say this right now. Showing him being one way as a kid and showing him being the opposite as an adult is not character development in my eyes. Basically that’s saying, that part wasn’t important so we skipped it and now he’s this way and fine with it.
Character development is when a character starts off a certain way in a movie, either on the fence or completely on one side, trying to find balance or which side/ path they should follow and at the end of the film they arrive, confidently or tragically at their decision. Through the course of the movie this decision manifests itself as challenges, whether that’s people, circumstances, or physical/ psychological obstacles. They struggle through it and come to a decision in the end that ultimately changes them.
This does not happen in the movie for Clark. The biggest decision he has to make is whether or not to out himself as an alien to the world. It’s not because he’s conflicted about whom he is and needs to come to terms with his heritage, but rather he doesn’t trust people to not go crazy. But it’s not even really a big conflict that comes into play until Zod shows up and demands he surrender himself. At which point he has no choice and his concern is taken care of in a quick 2-3 minute scene where he goes to church and asks for advice. And the advice is… “Just do it.” Boom! “Character development” done with. From this point he simply moves from place to place and bashes whatever needs bashing. I don’t really see any other level of character development.
The beginning of the movie (the origin) starts with something potent, useful. He is unsure of his alien heritage. He doesn’t know where he belongs. He’s got these powers but he has to hide them and doesn’t want to be that way. Does he want to fully embrace his Kryptonian side or does he want to just keep hiding? But none of that comes into play after his childhood flashbacks.
Now, here’s my huuuuuge problem with this Superman. He lets people die. Huge problem number one: he lets his father get carried away by a kittening tornado! This scene occurs to show that 1) he did as his father told him to because his father didn’t want him to be discovered 2) he was just as afraid as his father was of what might happen if he was discovered. My problem with this is it feels like a Peter Parker moment that shouldn’t be in Superman. It’s unnecessary to change how Jonathan Kent originally died and makes Clark look like the hugest little kitten ever. If my dad were in danger, and that tornado was coming and he motioned to me no. I would’ve jumped straight into that twister and dragged him out in front of the entire crowd. You know why? Because that was the right thing to do, because I could. I have the power. I have the responsibility. (again Spider-man moment that doesn’t need to be there) Unlike Peter, Clark doesn’t learn from that instance that with great power comes great responsibility. In the movie he says he let his father die because he trusts him…. WTF does that mean? He trusted that his father knew what was best? Here in we run into the conflict of trusting someone (not making them upset with you) and doing what’s right (which is using your power to save someone even if they hate you for it). Superman is someone who does what’s right even if it’s not popular.
The second example, and this one takes the cake. During his climactic fight with Zod, he doesn’t bat an eye at the destruction being caused by their fight nor the amount of people who were dying from the falling debris from their destruction. (If you tell me no one died and that they were in the zone the phantom zone had decimated already I laugh right in your face! There’s clearly people shown running a block or two from them in one shot and their battle takes place across several blocks) The final moment before Zod is defeated, Zod uses his heat vision to try and kill a family and Superman pleads with him to stop while trying to prevent his head from turning in Superman’s sleeper hold. At that point I was like “Do you know this family personally? Because you just let a kitten ton of people die outside without taking a single second to look around and realize this.”
Now everyone who’s all ‘This is his first outing as Superman, cut him some slack,’ and ‘This is Nolan/Snyder’s Superman not the comic book one,’ or even those who are saying ‘he’s in the heat of battle’ please explain to me what type of person who’s trying to save everyone would ignore the fact that punching his opponent through several buildings that are already structurally unsound is a surefire way to get people squashed and killed? It’s not like he was enraged. He didn’t have a reason to be. Zod never said anything that really pissed him off. The action was amazing, and I expected that type of fight, but to have Superman not try to move the fight elsewhere or try to reason with Zod to prevent a fight from happening is just lazy. LAAAAAAZY!
Not only that but here they missed a chance to make an impact on Clark’s character development (there’s that word again). Have him be aware of the destruction caused by him (intentionally or not) killing people. Have him try to reason with Zod. Have him try to save successfully and unsuccessfully save the people while trying to deal with Zod. That way when he has to choose between Zod’s life and a family’s, there’s a real conflict that either way this time, someone is going to die. Earn Clark realizing that he can’t save everyone. This way when he ultimately makes the choice that he does, it rings truly tragic and gives him space to grow in the next film.
How the fight should be:
Superman lands after having saved Lois from the Phantom Zone. Instead of kissing, Lois notices his sad demeanor. She gives him a look, letting him know that she realizes there’s something wrong. He says he just doomed his whole race, all that was left into another dimension. A somber mood fills the air but not for long as Zod appears from the fog of ashes. Superman, not wishing to fight any longer after having sent his own people into the phantom zone, tries to appeal to Zod once more asking him to give up. Zod gives an impassioned speech about his role since birth and how Superman has taken away his soul. Superman and Zod clash, thunderous booms echo across the city. The action is happening at such break neck speed that the sounds occur after their fists connect. Unlike Superman Zod has military combat training and this allows him to send Superman through several buildings. But unlike Zod Superman is familiar with his Earth-given abilities. For every time Zod sends Superman through a building he sends Zod through two. As Superman knocks Zod through a cascade of buildings one of them topples. Clark’s fixated eyes wander down as the screaming of people flood his ears. He realizes that he’s also put these people in danger. He zips down, using his super speed he moves several people to safety in what feels like slow motion. But as fast as he is, he can’t save everyone. Unable to think in the heat of the moment he simply flies up towards the building and presses up against its frame, hoping to hold it up long enough for the people to flee. But despite his best effort the parts of the building around him are crumbling and falling down. He prepares his heat ray hoping he has enough control of it to simply concentrate fire on the falling debris, but before he’s able to launch his plan Zod bursts through the wall and smacks him across to the other rooftop. He can only look on in horror as he comes to in a breath of black smoke and dust. The screaming is silenced in that part of town. As he looks on in horror Zod breaks through the fog reading to land another fierce punch. It connects but only with the floor. Superman looks around the city one more time taking in the screams of fear and the cries of anguish. The flames flickering through the smog of cement. Zod lunges at him again. Superman takes off with Zod quickly following. Leaping from building to building. The chase goes on for some time. Zod’s rabid dog demeanor changes as he realizes the hero’s plan. It only takes him a moment to realize the most effective way to torment his foe. Zod starts pulling off full sections of the top of the building he’s on, sending them down below where countless innocent bystanders freeze in terror. Superman turns and realizes what he’s doing. Zod has collected himself and now is an even greater threat. Superman flies back and tackles Zod into a building. Superman says the madness must end. That they’re the only two left that no one else should have to perish, human or Kryptonian. Zod becomes enraged that he compares the worth of the humans to his family. His eyes burn with rage as his heat vision activates and erupts from his eyes. Zod struggles but eventually is able to control it. He looks at Superman excited by his new ability and his first use is clear. The last words Superman is able to utter is “Zod, don’t!”
The people below only see huge red blast as the building’s frame collapses completely from the blast.
As the building falls Zod struggles again to control the power. Anything that comes down on him is blasted away. Superman leaps out of the building and flies down and saves everyone this time with his super speed and heat vision. As the smoke clears Superman tells everyone to run to safety as he watches the pile of rubble that is a few blocks away, expectantly. A giant red blast bursts out of the rubble revealing Zod again. His armor has fallen. Superman flies towards Zod to try to keep him contained. Hovering over him, Zod makes mention of how someone impure could best him. Focusing his anger he levitates and then eventually flies. Amazed at how fast Zod is picking up his powers Superman is taken by surprise when Zod charges him full speed. He tries to steer Zod into the sky with his own flight ability. They wind up clipping some roofs instead. They battle in the sky now and every time Zod knocks him down towards a building, he tries to prevent himself from crashing but every time he is successful Zod follows up by crashing into him and then through the buildings. He knocks Zod through the ceiling and recovers. But sees a pair of hands holding each other buried under some rubble. Angered he bursts through the windows and towards Zod. Using his better control, he juggles Zod in the air with several blows. Zod lands next to a family. Realizing he’s outmatched, he seeks again to take vengeance through secondary means. He readies his heat vision. Superman tackles him. In the skirmish Superman applies a sleeper hold but Zod presses his attack on the family as they’re cornered by thick marble walls and Zod’s heat vision. Superman pleads with him to stop, but Zod counters by saying all he has to do is kill him, stating it would be easy since he’s already condemned his entire race to death. Superman begs Zod to not make him do it. Zod says time’s almost up, it’s him or the family. Superman has no choice and with a quick and thunderous flick of his arms, snaps the general’s neck. In shock both he and Zod’s lifeless body collapse to the ground. He winds up on his knees, no longer able to stand. Lois arrives on the scene but has to pause when she realizes what just happened. Stunned and in a daze at what just happened, Clark looks around. The family that he just saved are relieved, with the parents thanking him, but the child’s face is of horror. Not from the fear they just experienced at the general’s hands but at witnessing murder. Clark looks down at the generals body and realizes what just happened. His breathing quickens he takes a deep breath and releases a beastly scream. The ceiling and windows crack and shatter and start to fall down. The family is in danger again. Lois motions them out to safety. As the family exits she slowly makes her way down towards Clark. She gently places her hand on his head. He recognizes this touch and allows himself to snap to. He reaches for her, placing his arms around his waist as she softly places his head on her stomach.
And for goodness sake don't just suddenly cut to Superman is okay everyone. No consequences here. No regret. Nothing interesting to see afterwards. Superman is fine and it's status quo. The government sort of kind of doesn't trust him, maybe. The end!
Lois Lane: Lois plays important roles in the plot, but her relationship with Clark is not earned in the least, and the kiss rings shoe-horned in. They just met. They don’t have to kiss. It is not a rule that if they’re a couple in the comics they have to kiss in a movie. You can also save that development for the next movie. Yesh! I feel bad for Amy Adams though, yes I know she collected a paycheck, but she had no meat in the script whatsoever. Well... maybe with the exception of her introductory scene. She simply becomes a plot point and not a character. I mean, they take Lois Lane and they never EVER say why. Why does Zod want Lois Lane? Iunno. But she meets Jor-El and learns how to put the Phantom Zone device together so I guess it doesn't matter. Guuuh! Lois Lane should be more than this. And it's not Amy's fault. But I feel bad for her. I can't imagine having a role that is known to be important to the comics, not having any real thing to do, and having to go around the talk show circuits and lying about how deep and rich the character is in the movie.
Zod: I actually really liked Zod. He just wants to save his people. I understand that. Kudos mate and writers. I do want to splice together Lois asking, 'How do you find someone who's spent their entire life hiding?', and Zod's, 'I WILL FIND HIM!' line.
Kostner and Lane do well with what little screen time they have. Although Lane's dialogue is funky at times when Clark returns home. The whole scene is odd. Cavill doesn't seem genuinely excited to have learned about being Kryptonian and meeting his father, and in turn Lane has nothing to play off of emotionally. Some kind of awkward just kind of happens and then they start talking about something else.
Antje Traue who is a beaut, has fun spewing a superiority complex as Faora-Ui.
Jor-El/ Jor-El's cyber ghost I have no idea what Jor-El wants of Clark other than for him to be happy. Because he says he wants Kal to be a bridge between their two people, but then he says that everyone who was on Krypton should stay on Krypton. Like their time is done.
Not only that, but what I find weird is that he basically tattooed the DNA of all new Kryptonians onto his son's cells... GROSS!
Anyone else in this movie is meh.
Iunno. The more I talk about the movie, the less I like it. I'm seeing it a second time with a different friend, so maybe I'll see things differently.

7/10
Had to agree with chouzu_tao with a lot of his points.
So when i decided to sit in the theater this morning. I knew I wasn't going to enjoy the film, if i sat there as a fan of superman. So instead, I just decided to analyze the movie from a movie critic standpoint. Not allowing anything of my knowledge of superman to enter my mind. Just to judge the film from what I've seen. And it's just an average film truthfully. Great CGI, and great cast. But the cast isn't really utilized so they're wasted.
Saw "Man of Steel" again. My opinion has not changed, but I did miss the fact that Lois was taken by Zod so they could probe her mind about information on Superman. This on top of the fact that they also probed Superman's mind....
This is the End 8/10 <- This is based off of how much fun I had. This movie in no way is a pièce de résistance, but it is one of those movies where you can easily let yourself go and just have fun or be super offended.
Basically the world has come to an end and the actors play a somewhat exaggerated version of themselves working together to survive it. It was a lot of fun to identify which of my friends would be whom within the group.
I am of two minds about it granted i did not like the Lord of the Rings movies because of the meaningless and in some cases downright stupid alterations to the story, I watched them all because I am a huge JRR Tolkien fan.
The movie was good though I did enjoy parts of it very much but It was not the story that JRR Tolkien wrote to many alterations to the history of the world (which to my mind did not enhance the story at all.)
Azog was killed in the Battle of Azanulbizar if they wanted to have a subplot about revenge have Bolg (Azog's son) chasing them as he is a character in the books in the Battle of Five armies
Why did they change Gandalf getting the key from Thrain in the pits of Dol Guldur?
etc etc
I did like the movie though at the same time as being disappointed but I knew going in what to expect so I can't comlain too much
as a movie
3 out of five (would be four except for the alteration to the story)
Saw Despicable Me 2 yesterday.... So awesome and funny!
5/5
Plot details
Kinda wish it wasn't about Gru getting a love interest, but Lucy works!
Poor Edith, Margo and Agnes had more screentime than her.
Couldn't careless about alterations from Tolkien's story when adapting The Hobbit to movies (and yes, I read The Hobbit way before the movie was even in production as well). I always consider the source and adaptations as alternate universes, anyway.

There isn't a lot actually in the way of script/plot, but what little is there does have heart. The main focus is on the slapstick of the minions, which I actually enjoyed a lot. If you liked the first one, you'll like this one. But it's really a setup for the Minion's solo movie next year.
Monster's University 8/10
This is a well done movie. Pixar movies usually are, but with Disney's hand-drawn division long gone I feel like Pixar has had to put out more movies than usual and in turn I feel the creative spark that was there is starting to get pulled thinner. A good example of this would be with their shorts. You go from a kid raking stars on a moon to two umbrella's before Monster's U which is basically a inanimate object rehash of the much better "Paperman" short that played before Disney's Wreck-It-Ralph.
Pacific Rim 8/10
Best summer blockbuster so far. Not an original skeletal premise (alien invasion), but man is it fun. Everything up until something that happens at the end is solid gold for me. The detail to the Jaegers (the mecha) and the personality for each Kaiju. The direction of the monster battles, which should not be under-appreciated, was amazing. In worse hands we'd have had an up-close irrational battle with arms just flying everywhere. But instead we get clear definition, a blow by blow, without ever losing the weight of each blow. This is the highlight of the movie and really why anyone who's watching it is going. But that's not to say that the character stuff is completely secondary we care about these people. The only real complaint I have about this movie is that there isn't more of it. Honestly they could've turned this into a few movies had they not decided to start towards the biggest point in the battle. I would've loved to see how the original monster was taken down by several jets and tanks over the course of a very long period. So awesome! And the cities are assumed evacuated (are even shown doing so) with no signs of people during the big battles. So no "super" mistakes.
Man..., despite this movie not really having the best storyline or character developments, this movie promised to bring to screen giant robots fighting giant monsters. Awesomely. You know what? It delivered.
And that's all that matters.
Also, yay! Guillermo del Toro has been given the go-ahead for a sequel!
Better than X-men Origins: Wolverine. I'm not very familiar with the original source material besides the basic premise, so I don't know how faithfully it's adapted but I feel like the movie misses out on some opportunities and while I understand pg-13 ratings to allow more people to see it, I would like an R rated Wolverine where it's just a mess after he goes on a legitimate berserker rage. The story takes place after the film X-men United, with the ghost of Jean still haunting Wolverine. A man seeks him out hoping to exchange Wolverine's healing ability with the gift of a mortal life. This plays to the overall story arc of Wolverine wanting to die versus struggling to live, but it feels like it awkwardly stumbles to completion with Mariko his love interest in the movie. I really loved any fight Yukio was in, but I really wanted to see more destruction on Wolverine's part. I mean the village fight was a huge missed opportunity to showcase Wolverine's berserker barrage. Huge chance! And they squander it. It would've had a more emotional impact if he fought through more guys destroying a little property while steering clear of innocence and they just eventually overwhelm him despite him struggling ferociously. As it plays in the movie he gets overwhelmed pretty easily. The ninjas are smart and keep their distance after the first few guys ... learn who the Wolverine is but Wolverine should've brought the fight to some of them. The image of the arrows all stuck in him that you see in the trailers is an awesome cinematic moment though. Also, I thought his vow to never kill which he has at the beginning of the movie is shrugged off waaaaaay too easily, and don't get me wrong, I like animals but he does it over a Bear. Maybe in the original comics their relationship is more endearing but I was just kind of like... huh? I think it would've been a great additional journey if for part of the movie he struggles with not wanting to hurt anyone with circumstances just pushing him to the edge. Here it's just kind of ... well and that challenge is over.
I felt for my money the Silver Samurai battle was... meh. If they made the Silver Samurai more powerful (in terms of it's weight and mechanics vs a peak-form human) it would've been awesome watching Wolverine fight the thing. Also the love between Wolverine and Mariko kind of just happens. I know sometimes in circumstances of great stress people will look for comfort in another but for Wolverine's story arc it kind of just... "Well... now we kiss." So yeah, action was mostly decent, nothing amazing (save for the Yukio fights which were cool), and the characters were also decent. If you cant wait for a cheaper showing, I'd do that.
I kinda thought the MarikoxLogan thing was also kinda forced, but I do like it better compared to whatever they were trying to do with Logan and Jean Grey in the X-Men trilogy.
Seriously, if they remove those annoying guilt-tripping Jean Grey dreams out of the equation and
Spoilers
extend the amount of time Logan and Mariko were staying in her family's home in Nagasaki, the romance may be a bit better.
And Mariko's reaction to Logan popping out his claws after a nightmare is pretty much what saves their relationship to me. Anyone who reacts that calmly (she even caresses his claws somewhat inquisitively) to one of the dangers of being with Logan, gets an okay in my opinion.

agree
Not to go too long off topic, but yeah I agree. I understand having Jean in there but the way you mentioned would've been a more affective way of building his relationship with Mariko. And honestly because of that last moment with Jean it kind of almost feels like Mariko was just a rebound booty call 'cause... he kind of just leaves... for no reason. He travels for two years with no clear aim... Poor Mariko. I understand she's now busy with business stuff but seriously, he seemingly leaves the day after the public finds out... Well, it was nice "being" with you but I've come to terms with Jean and now... I ... I'm a solider. Gotta go! (Logan disappears leaving behind a Logan-shaped cloud).

Lol, it was so nice for me to actually say that bit that I forgot this wasn't a discussion thread. XD

Beautiful Creatures 6/10
A classic 6/10 movie. It was alright..
Corny at some point, like when Sarafine was said the be the strongest of all, then gets easily defeated by Lena at the end. The teenage love was kinda cute though. :3
It was even funny at times. It was worth to watch, but not one I'll remember.
