hehe, thanks for the mini-guide. wink.gif

I've given up on Amazon for now, huge swathes of their Ranma range is out of stock, and there are mostly old editions in stock. Normally, I don't have a problem with older editions but they cost ?3 more each!

I'm looking around for any good anime importers. If anyone knows a good shop, please list it if you don't mind. happy.gif; Thanks! I'm trying to find ones that contain a good range of stock. They don't HAVE to be based in the UK - as long as they can deliver here.

I seem to have found a decent-looking shop at the moment. wink.gif

Anime On-Line - it even has Naruto stuff!

EDIT: What the heck? A Naruto Zippo lighter? O_o

I'm not sure, but the Sheffield Space Centre or The Last Picture Show (No idea. A friend gave me the name) in Sheffield and Meadowhall (Also in Sheffield tongue.gif) might import..

Thanks. happy.gif Unfortunately it seems they don't really offer any online service (I'm hundreds of miles away from Sheffield!). The Space Centre has some online stuff, but I'll need to e-mail them and see if they have any of the books I'm looking for.

Somewhere on their site, the SSC has a (I think it's .pdf) list of EVERYTHING they stock/have access to.

Hey Hoku. happy.gif

Hehe, I haven't been to the site for a little while now. happy.gif; But wait until Sakura starts kicking ass in the manga. wink.gif I'm sure that 3000 visitors will be nothing once more people start taking an interest in NaruSaku...

I loved FF5 as well. biggrin.gif All those mecha, airships and espers. Airships just feel so much cooler than ordinary planes, you know?

EDIT: Found the list. Thanks, Blayze. smile.gif

Er... IIRC, the summons were only called Espers in FF3/6, Smiter smile.gif

Ah, I think I must have confused 5 with 6. happy.gif; Yeah... FF6 (released as FF3 in America) was the one I loved!

Whoops.

yea I definately loved FF6/3! But my favorite is FF4/2, i felt it had a more mature theme, and i loved all of the characters, especially the twins! Palom & Porom!

QUOTE (Smiter @ Oct 21 2004, 03:03 PM)
Ahh, the walkabout has made me feel a lot better. happy.gif

Didn't get any games/DVDs, just got some supplies for my studies and some essentials.  I wanted to find Spirited Away, but Torquay isn't known for stocking anime. tongue.gif  There weren't any Gamecube/PC RPGs jumping out at me either.

I'll get the fun anime/manga stuff on Amazon. wink.gif  Time to go Ranma hunting again?

I think I will download an emulator, Blayze. happy.gif  I used to have fun playing old SNES RPGs!  Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Zelda, Final Fantasy and Illusion of Gaia!  I got stuck on FFV after I came up against some tough enemies that would one-hit kill, and there was no way to back out. sad.gif  Oh well.

There's just something so charming about old SNES games.  I still have my console. happy.gif

RAWR! FFV is awesome, the only FF as great as FF TACTICS... not Tactics Advance I mean Tactics. Anyways it's hard at first but FUUUUUUN I bet it with all my characters at level 40.

Plus the music is the best along with FFIV and FFVI

Yes a lot of enemies are hard but I have a strategy for you. Train up your characters as Black Mages, White Mages, Summoners, Time Mages, and Knights up to at least level 5 or until you get the maximum level of magical abilities. Then just make Bartz learn sword dance for the final battle you'll need it.

Mime is completely useless so just get it if you feel like side-questing.

Other than that it's a great game. Better than FFVII with that weak worthless Sephiroth as a villain.

Aethos, Mime isn't useless. IIRC, it copies the last move you did without costing any MP. And believe me, the last battle was a war of attrition. Who would give out first? The boss or my medical supplies?

Bah I never used Mime. Just train up your Alchemist job to where you can learn the drink command. Also with the abundance of skills you'll be using elixirs most of the time to heal MP. Most of the healing will be done against the final form of the final boss so don't worry about the first form. Just have Bartz sword dance using Excaliber and have the others use three of the other legendary weapons. I recommend Reina using Holy Lance.

Theres always... Meteo, I think it was. Meteo and Holy. I think those two did some decent damage against the final form.

*takes notes on the debate between Blayze and Aethos*

Well, I'm offline for the night now. wink.gif I'm going to do some drawing and hopefully sleep well tonight. I also spent the cash I would have put on games and anime onto a nice new set of Nekopiko markers! I only have some grey ones I used to practise with. Hopefully they'll arrive next week. happy.gif

The RAW had better be out tomorrow, or I might start breaking things. tongue.gif

I bet I'm going to be dreaming of 236.

G'night all. happy.gif

I was watching the episode and man am I the only one who just can't help but cry during episode 50 and episode 100? I mean geeze I don't think there's anyone who suffered more than Rock Lee in the prelims. Heck I didn't even cry for Hinata when she got her ass beat by Neji. I just sort of laughed.

But still... Man Rock Lee's parts of the story are real tear jerkers.
