But, although it was an open-ending, we could speculate that they could have gotten together, so I'm happy with that.

In fact, if Naruto would have ended this way, although I would not have been completely satisfied, I would have been OK with it.

Haven't followed a lot of anime lately, but I am a bit split between Phoenix/Maya, and Phoenix/Iris from the Phoenix Wright games; mostly because Maya is underage the the series starts. I need to play Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice to see if my view changes.

It's not canon, but I'm personally supportive of Dakki x Taikoubou from Hoshin Engi. Despite being fierce adversaries, there has always been this bizarre sexual tension between them and they have great chemistry whenever they interact, especially when they play tense psychological mind games with one another.  Even the author acknowledges this.  Given that Dakki did save Taikoubou from death at the end of the manga and she's no longer evil (plus they are both virtually eternal), they may have a shot at reconciliation and more but that's open for interpretation.

Rereading Akame ga Kill after a long time, and I think in terms of the manga it's a little underrated and the hate while I can understand is somewhat blown out of proportion.  Anyway this series I can say is enjoyable the quality does diminish, but is it Naruto level bad? no definetly not, and the ending is kind of conclusive though it can be kind of debatable. Long story short the manga is definitely better than the anime.  

 

But this isn't about the series itself atleast not for this thread, it's for pairings, so here is one I'm going to share from this series that i've always been a supporter of and I'm glad it's canon (even though the final moment between them in the manga can be strange in someways.)

So after another watch of Frozen, I can't help but see NaruSaku in Christoff and Ana! Right now they are my major OTP now (well I wouldn't say major, but after watching Frozen again, like I said, they have a certain quality that gives me the NS vibes haha).

Would anyone happen to know who the artist of this fanart is? I would absolutely love to give this person credit for a fantastic job! 

 

But yeah, this definitely helps me see the similarities between the two! And watching Frozen again with my sisters helped me see a lot of NS in this too haha. xD

This one should go without saying. They just fit. Like perfectly fit. I seriously don't know why people couldn't see it. For the longest time, I honestly thought that this was genuinely gonna happen. I was actually shocked to see not a single piece of development between them.

 

 

2) Saito x Siesta from familiar of zero.

 

I wanted this one to happen from the moment I saw them together. Louise is a kitten !!!

 

 

3) Tatsumi x Akame from Akame Ga Kill will alway be in my heart

 

I swear it's like any pairing I want doesn't happen. 

 

 

4) Katsushiro and Kirara from Samurai 7.

 

 

5) Misty and Ash.

6) Aiko x Shinichiro from True tears. They just get on ffs.

Seems less and less likely every chapter, but I really want them to end up together.

Yoshimori x Tokine is NaruSaku played straight.  They have similar personalities, a similar dynamic relationship and even similar strengths/weaknesses (Yoshimori has an abundance of raw power but he can't accurately control it, so his techniques are constantly over-the-top and sloppy whereas Tokine's power is weaker but she possesses far superior control that allows her to perform deadly precise attacks).

There are very subtle hints that suggest that they will be a thing.

 

They have a lot of moments that can make people around theme wonder.

 

She said stuff like she feels herself with Sakuragi and can talk openly about her feelings.

 

When our MC fails she always seems to be there to cheer him up and she defends him from 

the stupid Rukawa fangirls.

 

His confession at the end was beautiful.

But I came across loving a new ship as I started watching Girl Meets World, and that is Riley and Farkle lol.

I dont know if this is a big ship there but it is so adorable and is cute and reminds me a lot like NaruSaku. X)

Omg! Glad to meet someone who also likes BMW series! Although GMW wasn't as good as the first one, it had some potential. Riarkle was such a cute ship and I liked Farkle as a character (after he developed) but they decided to put him... well...  with a female Farkle xD I did not like that, but the way they resolved certain other love conflict was just pathetic. Seriously. I wish that triangle didn't exist at all.

I definitely agree! The main thing I really like about GMW is seeing the old cast! I cried when I saw Shawn, Eric, Feeney, Minkus, etc. Came back! ;___; it was so great. At the same time, I am so happy to see Corpanga's children! ♡

Yes, I don't like what happened with the triangle etc. It was so frustrating tbh. And yeah I think Riarckle is suuuuuch a cute ship, but I learned from NS to not get my hopes up so high. :/ But yeah the absolute best part about GMW is seeing the old cast from time to time.

These two  are a mature version of NaruSaku, and the best part is no triangles. Seishi doesn't pull the same stunt that his brother did.  They have an beautiful and amazing relationship, and you root for them all the way through.  The red scarf around them is further proof of that, and that's been with Jio  since the beginning of the manga

Sorry for the late reply, just saw this now. We could speculate, but I don't think there was anything to suggest that she had feelings for Hanamchi. For the most part she was fangirling Rukawa and only seemed to think of Hanamchi as friend. I don't remember exactly how it ended, but I don't think they ended up together, sadly. After the tournament, everyone seemed to have moved on and parted ways to focus on their own individuals goals; Rukawa going away to pursue his basketball dreams, Hanamichi focusing on recovering from his injuries and Akagi leaving the team to play basketball in college. Sadly, I don't think it had a happy ending, but I guess it portrays what real life is where it doesn't always go your way. 

 

I wish there was a second season though.
