847,826 Naruto Vol.60 first week sales.
621,846 Naruto Vol.65 first week sales.

 

ok you cant judge things based on first week sales. 65 could have done better later on, do you have overall numbers? Also do you have a source?

Safe to say that the war arc decreased a the sales of the manga when the difference between 2011 to 2012 is irrelevant.

Naruto was the third with 6,495,240.
In 2013
it's 5th with
5,553,933.

 

sorry but this is a bit false. Because in 2012 they have released officialy 5 volumes of Naruto while in 2013 only 4 volumes of  Naruto....So it's normal that the 2013 had a dicrease of naruto volume sales since the year 2012 had one volume more than 2013.

November 19, 2012 to November 17, 2013.
Because with that there's only four volumes released on 2012 and 2013 with the last volume that was released on december is credited to 2014.

Still your point about the war making sales decrease is false as the war arc  has been going on since 2011.

Again you said there was no change between 2011 and 2012 so thats 2 years of the war arc where the sales stayed the same so maybe this certain part of the war arc has made things decrease but overall the war arc has done great sale wise!

hes not gonna make narusaku etc pairings since part of  his readers will be dissapointed

if narusaku happens then Naruhina + SasuSaku fans=

I really dont know... It would be heartbreaking for me,if sakura wouldnt finally see that she likes Naruto and end up with him

Here's the thing Kishi sensei can do whatever he wants at the end, the story will be over by then what are the fans going to do stop reading his manga? It will be too late the story will be over by then...the ending is the one part the fans cannot really retaliate against...besides everyone reads it for the story and action not the possible romance that is just a bi-product, no one stopped reading Dragonball Z when Goku married Chi-Chi instead of Bulma who was the main heroine.

 

As long as it's not an complete f***you to the fans then I don't think he'll have too many issues, they've stuck with him for 15 years, they aren't going to burn all their manga volumes if their pairing doesn't happen. Besides after seeing how easy Karin forgave Sasuke after attempted murder, fans should atleast be expecting some dissapointment...even if their pairing wins.

So what you are saying is Naruto is his own great great multiple times over grandfather? No I think the best scenario here is Naruto is the reincarnation of the SO6P, it's also possible that the Sage left a part of his soul inside Kurama that would passed onto the son of the Jinchuriki of Kurama, and it didn't happen with Mito because she wasn't a host long enough or something, or maybe the sage set it up so that his power would awaken in his decendant who had been touched by the powers of all the Bijuu....there are a few possabilities but Naruto going back in time and being a Sage himself is too farfetched for me, if only for the fact the idea of him being his own great x allot grandfather kinda creeps me out, plus that would mean he ends up marrying whoever was the mother of the original Senju and Uchiha clan leader....so no NaruSaku.

 

As for what will save Naruto, two things, Sakura will keep him alive until he reaches Minato who can then transfer the other half of Kurama inside him, So essentially Edo-Minato would sacrifice his life to save his son now instead of placing a giant burden on him that would have got him killed him in the first chapter in Iruka didn't get to him before Mizuki did.

Well, as far as that goes, no matter what pairing happens someone is going to be disappointed. The only way around that is an open ending really. Like any writer, Kishi shouldn't let the demands of fans dictate the story, he's laid the groundwork for his final pairing that was probably decided early on and the only thing to do now is follow through with it. Also, it's not unusual for the most popular pairings among fans to not be the ones that are canon.

I think both Naruto and Sasuke will come out of this alive and  with a power up . Madara is still out there, stronger than ever and there is no one left to defeat him .He  will likely go to take his second eye and possibly fight Kakashi and Minato while there so I don't think that is where Gaara is going .

 

The only possible things for Sasuke are rinnegan or , more likely , since now he is no position to refuse , Orochimaru might use the curse seal on him again , which would also save his life .

 

For Naruto , I really hope it's not the other half of Kurama  and hope he never gets Kurama back at all , not sealed inside him anyway . That would also make sense  since he is supposed to free all tailed beasts in the end. There's no point in resealing the fox  only to free it again later and put his life in danger again . This will also make it that when he will fight Sasuke , if it will still happen at all , he will be fighting with his own power . I think his power up , and what will save his life too , is something So6p related , as others have said .

It was the begining of the war arc the loss was 300,000 copies of difference which is irrelevant, however 1,000,000 is.
The fact 2011 starts with Gai vs Kisame fight until after the volume where Shikamaru fight his teacher once again.
The war arc only gets crap when it reach it's climax during Naruto's confrontation about Obito when the mess begins to appear.

Well, truth be told, yes, Naruto sales did decrease. Imo this is because Kishi introduced too many characters  and switched a lot of focus. I think that whenever the original cast, Team 7 and the ones close related to them is in focus, that's when the audience comes back again, so to speak.

 

I am curious how the sales are going to go from now on tbh, given that Kishi started to kinda switch the focus back on Team 7...more or less, but anyway, you get the idea.

Not gonna lie to you but the cumulative of three weeks, the boost is more about the first two week the volume 66 on which is shown team 7 once again and Sakura's powerup, underperfomed behind the usual 1 million of sales.

I kinda agree partially with your thoughts but i believe it's not because he put too many characters but the fact he doesnt know what to do with them.
Madara is basically Aizen, and the kages suddenly disappear and appear somewhere else(Hiruzen did it three times), i would adress the lack of consistence.
Obito took three days to seal the bijuus and Madara did that in seconds.

Before the war arc, Kishi followed his logic and explained things on the manga carefully he created his own set of rules and now he literally broke everything(Susano'o without sharingan) and is more concerned about trying to make a decent ending to this story without actually caring to consistently get on the end.

they praise hinata like a goddess vj especially does on tumblr its pretty sad he even went as far as stalking my friend's facebook page to make him look like a mean person cuz he ships narusaku sigh... no sane person does that he clearly has a mental illness and yet i don't feel sorry for him one bit cuz if ns is the canon pairing in the end god only knows how he will react to it

 

           

 

I used to "debate" against him on Youtube. God, he was a riot, iv seen some deranged shippers on both sides, but he by far the pinnacle of ignorance. Any time i made a point he negated it by "Hinata's better than Sakura for Naruto" He used to proclaim openly Hinata=Kushina. I wonder what his reaction to Minoto's little statement was   He pretty much ran anytime I outfoxed him on a video 

 

(sigh) I miss the good old days.

 

 

Though to add to the thread, wasn't it that Medical ninja had some form of knowledge over fuinjutsu (sorry if this has already been discussed)

I'll say this once because this discussion is valid as who to blame for low ppv buys. Basically, what I'm trying to say is it the manga fault? Is it time has changed fault? Is it advertisement fault? What's the answer? Simple: who knows.

For manga wise, I believe you can get the answer from weekly rankings, and yes, Naruto has been in top 5 for a whole year. I believe it was in 7 due to Hashirama's flashback chapter 3. Anyway, my point is the ranking can determine the popularity in a way, not guaranteed. As for sales, that's all for speculation and that's how it is. As for my ppv comparison, put it this way. When it gets low ppv but rate, who do you blame? Weak advertisement? Time has changed? Schedule planning? One superstar not being that top star? Who knows.

One thing that I'm surprised and to be honest, if you feel declined, ask yourself this: why it didn't suffer Bleach's fate? Beezlebub is going downhill. Bleach is struggling bad. Other manga who still didn't get animated is going down quick. You can say Naruto is just too popular, but anyone can fall.

Basically, many of us could fall down the line of "That was terrible" only for another to say "I like it". Then you'll be like "wtf". We're like CoD haters, we believe we are millions of people that previously buy the game, only to see the new game sell the same if not more.

Long story short, the world will never know.
