Lol, will this thread have even more pages than 631's? I'm at page 20 and just posting to say that I read this chapter and was pleased. Sakura, she just looked really badass in this chapter. Favorite panel:

 

 

It was awesome seeing Sasuke and Hashi impressed by that little monster. As for the last bit in the chapter, the "SS" moment, At first, when I saw that panel of her supposedly blushing, I thought, "after all this time and you're still that Sakura?", but then I figured it's really not a big deal, I mean we were expecting an SS moment...it could've been worse. Actually, I'm still expecting there to be a bigger SS moment. Plus there was that panel with Juugo questioning Sasuke's decision. Ulterior motives?

 

It was great seeing Sakura finally getting her time to shine, though tbh, I'm expecting more from her than just this one chapter. I tried and am still trying to keep my expectations for Sakura's power up relatively low (which was her obtaining the yin seal - or a slug summon), it's just good to see her kicking ass. Also, Hyagoku/Hyakugou? Wat. Is that some sort of variant of Tsunade's Seal? I wonder what will happen once Sakura releases it? Personally, I'm hoping it's neither Creation Rebirth or Byakugou. I hope it's something entirely new. At this point, Kishimoto can go anywhere with Sakura at this point. Hell, a slug summoning, a powerful genjutsu, or SSM could still very well happen.

 

Only two things I didn't like about this chapter:

 

1. As good as it was seeing Sakura completing the Yin seal, I just can't help but think this was all way too convenient.

2. Those random....Juubites coming out of the ten-tails was just a "Huh?" moment.

 

As for the reviews and other forums, I ain't even touching that s**t LOL. I can just feel the hate resonating from the other forums, let them talk.   missART's reviews are the only one's I completely enjoy viewing anyways. I'm just going to enjoy this chapter for this week and wait for the next.

It really is amazing how the meaning of things can be lost when translation from one language to another. I dare say that this actually was more of an NS little moment than anything related to SS. I feel so much happier now.

So I just came to realize that Sakura didn't have her power-up yet. This chapter just showed that she doesn't need to conserve her chakra constantly anymore, so she can fight with her full capacity. She can release her seal anytime now. If only one freaking punch caused by the base Sakura can pulverize the whole battlefied....what is going to happen when she finally release it?

 

I'm surprised that for these 3 years she was fighting will only a small dose of her chakra, including the Sasori fight. 

 

Naruto and Sasuke are not in their powered-up forms either. I guess we will see all the sannin in their power-up forms in the up-coming chapters.

I don't know but Sasuke could go back heel. I hope not but I don't know. Juugo is the only one there. Why? Where's other? Maybe they are helping others, but it's funny that they are not aware that Karin is free, which would indicate that Sasuke and others were in Konoha. This is becoming stranger and stranger...

Darkrest, well... You've to know that Mangastream never use translation very accurate to the original. In fact I always said that mangapanda is more accurate to original.

 

I'm always upset to mangastream's translation... Their translation has always asspulled with some nonsense translation like the infamous (splitting the hairs).

 

I suggest you don't put much effort on their translation because they are simply not reliable.

But both mangapanda and mangastream give the same translation...

Shizune said in this chapter that Sakura had to constantly reserve certain amount of chakra for three whole years. 

Which means that for three years Sakura didn't fight using her true power. She was reserving it, including the battle with Sasori. If it wasn't for the seal, I'm assuming that her attacks would've been more stronger at that time. 

 

This chapter only showed that she doesn't have to fight reserving her chakra anymore. The seal appearing is an indication of that. And that seal hasn't been released yet. This is only her warm up.

No they don't. I just checked it. I know mangahere borrows mangapanda, but once MS translated it, they replaced it with that.

Okay I'm going to post a bunch of facts here about the Yin Seal and its uses because we seem to have some misconceptions among some of us. A few that I've seen throughout this thread have no idea what Hyakugou even is. So let's do some facts:

 

1. The Yin Seal is used by Tsunade to store chakra over a period of time.
2. Tsunade can release the Yin Seal to use Byakugou and increase her strength and healing abilities dramatically.
3. Tsunade uses the Yin Seal continually to maintain her youthful appearance, but also replenishes it. Sakura says that this means that she can't use the chakra from it as much or as often.
4. Sakura can also obviously store her chakra in a similar seal called Byakugou by Shizune. She has been doing it for three years.
5. Sakura just enabled the seal and increased her power and perhaps speed to epic proportions.
6. Sakura doesn't have to charge the seal now. She doesn't have to hold back.

 

And now for some conclusions:

1. We thought that the Yin Seal must always be visible on the forehead. Obviously not as Sakura has been using it to save chakra over three years and we have not seen it. Tsunade uses the seal to keep up her appearance, explaining why it's always there for her - she's using it 24x7.
2. The Yin Seal can therefore be thought to appear when its chakra is used, but probably not otherwise.
3. When the Yin Seal's chakra supply is released en masse, it becomes enhanced in a byakugou-like technique.
4. Sakura is just using the chakra, she has not completely released the seal.
5. So maybe she can enhance herself further.
6. Last point, we have no reason to believe it is permanent. As nice as a blue mark would be, I doubt it will be permanent for Sakura since she doesn't need to look like she's 26. She's just 17, after all.

 

So there we go. The way I see it, anything beyond that goes deep into speculation, prediction, and educated guess.

I don't want to hate on sasusaku but I feel like kishi is just putting them in there so the fans enjoy it a bit. As we all know, naruto is a life story, not a fairy tale; it's not about that cool guy or love at first sight. It focuses very much on development and foreshadowing. For me, it's great that sasuke acknowledged her and knows her power but naruto has known that all along even though he is somewhat clumsy to show it. Sakura might still have some feelings over sasuke but I feel as though if she chose sasuke in the end, there would be no message shown an no development on her part in realizing how to think rationally and not always with the heart. Think about it, if kishi were to get sasuke and sakura together, the message he would be sending out would be.. "All girls go and date the guy who treats you like a jerk, no matter how many times he breaks ur heart, he is the right choice. Not the guy that's been by your side all along". In the end it doesn't theoretically makes sense to me. Any thoughts on this guys?

I think you guys are just thinking too hard, if it was truly meant to be something with deep meaning than I don't think Kishi would make it that hard to interpret.
